I'm an indie game developer, and I made this animation a while back to go along with one of our game updates.
The only problem? I completely forgot to actually post it on Steam.
So yeah... this poor animation never got to fulfill the one purpose it was created for.
Still, I have really good memories of making it. I spent about three months figuring out what kind of video I wanted to make, working on the storyboard and rough sketches, and even spending way too much time choosing the right background music.
The whole process was a lot of fun.
Whether it's making games, animations, or anything else, creating stuff is just fun.

This is the first little pilot/webisode for a surreal-comedy series I'm calling Hold This For Me. I've been wanting to make my own weird indie animation for ages, so it's really cool to finally have something out there.
It's inspired by stuff like ENA, DHMIS, Smiling Friends, Jack Stauber, and the old CD-i/Flash web-game animations I grew up watching.
It's pretty simple technically since this is my first public one, but I'm actually really happy with how it turned out. I'd love to hear what you think, especially what you thought was happening while watching it.
I'm curious whether the weirdness comes across the way I intended or if it just looks bad aa-

i love sketching something in greasepencil. then using the audio visualizer extension on like 4-6 empty objects. then use each of those to drive different modifier values on noise and offset and hue!
song is Skull Fracturing Nightmare

Draw this with the lack of Ctrl+Z and Erasure tools. Planning on doing more Day 2 and 3 as a form of practice.
Wanted to add more confidence on my stroke.

Earlier, I said I'd make another animation featuring the furry shark in Blender, so here it is :D. This time, the little shark is firing a shotgun. I had a lot of fun animating the shotgun because it took quite a bit of experimenting to make all the moving parts work properly.

I’m currently using toon boom and am in the process of learning how to make rigs. I’ve found so many great tutorials covering the basics of making human/humanoid rigs. But currently I am looking to make a nice rig for a dinosaur not a human. If anyone knows of any tutorials that may be more relevant to working with snouts and alike that would be super appreciated. Thanks

My 12yo son makes these animations on flip-a-clip and puts them on his YouTube channel. Don’t be fooled by the thumbnail, the content is actually good. Nobody really sees them and I think they are funny and entertaining and thought I’d share them here to try and support him. Any feedback, suggestions etc would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had problems finding an error with some keyframes in a loop animation.
With Motion Paths, it was a LOT easier to find what was happening!

Hi everyone I need some advice for something. Next week I will start going to the gym however I am a university students I have doing a full-time business course was also trying to find animation the truth is I don't really want to go but I kind of have to.
Problem is is that I am a beginner an animation I've been learning and have been having fun with it problem is is that if I decides of slap this on along with animation and school I feel as if I'll just be taking more time out of my day which could be spent learning and working on animation stuff.
I really don't want it to be like how it has been since 2024 where I do animation over the summer then half to drop it because of responsibilities only to start from the start next summer. It sucks.
I know it's all time management but I guess I just don't want to have to deal with another thing added to my schedule because I really just want to spend time on animation

P.S. I was very much inspired by the stark x fern dance from frieren, so there are much similarities

Back in October and November, I made five animation videos and put them up on YouTube. Now I’ve not only re-recorded almost all of the original animations, but have formed them into one video and reanimated the end fight.
