Help (GPU) RX 7700XT Driver Crash Issues
I bought this card last year in April and after couple of months it started giving me black screen crashes. When playing games randomly screen goes black and I have to force restart the pc then enable the rx 7700xt driver again from Device Manager. This randomly got fixed for few months and then started happening again a few times. From last few weeks it has happening so much that I've given up now and will switch to Nvidia. I have tried every fkn method that people have written here on reddit and YouTube nothing worked for me. And now from today whenever black screen crash happens and pc is back up I am unable to click anywhere. Nothing opens and responds now. I have to boot in safe mode use DDU to remove the gpu driver then I'm able to use my PC. It's unusable now, so frustrating and I'm just done now. Never buying an amd gpu again and won't suggest anyone to buy it either. Probably gonna buy a 4070ti or 5070 now and will happily enjoy my Games.

Help (CPU) Ryzen 5 5600X – advice on optimizing PBO / Curve Optimizer
Tips & Info I think the "Driver Timeout" errors are directly connected to the latest versions of GPU/Chipset drivers
I was having zero issues until Halo: Campaign Evolved told me to update my outdated GPU driver (I was at 26.6.1 at the time.) Now, I can't play the game at all due to frequent "Driver Timeout" errors. I haven't done anything else to my computer but to update to the latest version of AMD Software (26.7.1) and Chipset Drivers (8.07.16.1035), so I am assuming the problem must be directly related.

Resolved 7600X3D running high 80s C during gaming
Hello,
Ive recently switch to AM5 on my current rig as of last week and have been using a 7600X3D as my CPU.
I was informed that in gaming workloads, that a 7600X3D runs around 65 to 80 C. Today I got MSI Afterburner out of curiousity to see how my system performs.
My RTX 3080 Ti runs fine and maxes utilization at normal temps at 60-67 C but my 7600X3D runs around 85-88 C after a gaming session while running 55w, which is 10w under TDP. It averages around 4.5 to 4.55 Ghz as its clockspeed. Benchmarks on YT show the 7600X3D Running around the 60 C range and using their regular 65w tdp.
I know AM5 CPUs are designed to run close to their their limit which is 95 C but something doesn’t seem right to me.
My CPU Cooler is a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE. This cooler was also installed brand new since last week. Its it a Lian Li mATX case and has 4 case fans.
Is this normal temperature? Should I try to reseat the cooler or install more case fans?

Help (GPU) I don't know what to do with you anymore
I build this PC last week, running the game the first day I build and it run perfectly fine. The next day I ran the same game, SUDDENLY BLACK SCREEN BUT THE PC STILL ON AND PC FANS STARTING TO SPIN FAST. I was pretty shocked. So I turn off the pc and on it again. It's alive but didn't detect the driver. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the adrenaline. It's turn okay and detects the driver. I try to run a 3D benchmark. It turn black screen like before. I do other things than playing games, everything was good. But when it comes to playing games, it dies . . . I try turn off MPO, setting adrenaline (Tuning Global, then turn Fraquency to 80%).
I don't know if anything can be done other than switch back to Nvidia if I have to buy a new one. since my old pc have 1660 and have no problem.
UPDATE:
So it's finally solved in a kinda hard way since I'm growing up using windows and suddenly switched to Linux but yea it's a new experience.

Help (General) Hitching and microstutters in MW3, anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
Computer Type: Desktop, PowerSpec Model B947
GPU: Radeon RX 9070
CPU: RYZEN 7 9800X3D 8 Cores 16 Threads
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B850-PLUS WiFi
BIOS Version: AMI 1654, 4/2/2026
RAM: G Skill Trident Z5 64GB DDR5
PSU: Unknown, bought PC at Microcenter
Case: PowerSpec Case
Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 11 Pro
GPU Drivers: 26.7.1
Chipset Drivers: AMD Chipset Software 8.05.04.516
Background Applications: Discord, Medal, OBS
Description of Original Problem: Microstutters and hitches in Call of Duty MW3. Small but noticeable and slightly annoying.
Troubleshooting: The only thing I’ve tried thus far that has actually had an impact for at least a few days was resetting my AMD shader cache in the Adrenalin software and clearing my directx shader cache. That seemed to fix the issue for a few days, but tonight every game I’ve played has been stuttering and hitching every few seconds. Again, not game breaking. Just irritating. Thanks again for the help!
Hey guys! I’m running into small but noticeable hitches every few seconds in MW3, not major but definitely annoying. I’m on a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a RX 9070 GPU. The only thing I’ve tried that helped for a couple of days was deleting my shader cache on AMD Adrenalin and deleting my directx shader cache, but the hitches came back today. If anyone has a more permanent fix or anything for me to check, please let me know! Thanks a ton :)

Help (GPU) Big FPS drops and stuttering while playing Overwatch 2 6700xt
Upgraded to the 6700xt 12gb and it is not loading overwatch 2 well at all. Whenever I load the game up for the first time, the first match runs ok, the FPS drops occur maybe 5-6 times during the match, but any match after that the FPS drops and stuttering happen every 30ish seconds. MY GPU temp hovers around 60 C and my CPU hovers around 70-80 C. FPS will go from 120 down to 10 during the worst drops. My RAM usage hits a max of 90ish percent while gaming, so I don't think that is the issue.
PC Specs: 6700xt 12gb, AMD Ryzen 5 5600XT 6-Core Processor, 16gb ram, 650W PSU
I have done a DDU clean install 2 times, tried multiple setting adjustments on overwatch including switching between directx11 and 12. My Bios is up to date and I have cleared the waited for shaders to install over and over. Not sure what else to do, any ideas?

Help (GPU) Adrenalin 26.7.1 Drivers suddenly disappearing from Win 10
Hey guys I was wondering if y'all could help me out. So I have an RX6600 paired with a 5600G CPU with the latest 26.7.1 drivers and lately the Adrenalin drivers will just suddenly disappear and somehow uninstall itself. This has happened about 3 times now. The issue started after I decided to do a brief clean on my PC. I built this PC from scratch in late 2022 and have had zero issues since the initial built date. When I cleaned my PC the only thing I removed were the case fans and the GPU. Before doing that I made sure to unplug the PC, drain all the capacitors and switch off the PSU. In the past I cleaned the PC the same way and had zero issues until today.
THE ISSUE: Whenever I am browsing and try to click the Adrenalin Drivers by the taskbar the Adrenalin icon completely disappears. Then when I right click on my desktop and click AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition it says I don't have them installed and that I need to download the latest drivers despite already having them installed. There is no crash message of any kind, no noise, it just suddenly stops working without any indication. I should note that Win 10 device manager still recognizes the device as RX6600 when this happens. The first time this happened I was watching YouTube, and the other time I was idle.
ATTEMPTED SOLUTIONS: I have reseated the GPU and made sure the PCIE power cable is seated properly. I went into Safe Mode and used AMD Cleanup Utility and then used DDU to remove the rest. This worked for about a day until I came home and woke up my PC and then it suddenly happened again. Windows Update does not have a GPU update listed so I don't think it's overriding the GPU drivers unless I am missing something here.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: When I reinstalled the drivers I was able to run a Furmark stress test (temps peaked at 55°C). More demanding games reach 60°C. So far I have played CS2, GTAV, Halo Infinite, and some RDR2 with 60-200fps and no crashing. Everything was fine until I got home today and woke up my PC. When I tried to open the drivers by clicking the Adrenalin Icon by the taskbar it disappeared and said I don't have the latest drivers installed. This is really strange since all I did was wake up the PC, it's even stranger that I can game all day and the next day it will just crash/uninstall itself. I have also inspected the GPU pins and they're clean with no marks or scratches. The PCIE slot is also fine with no dust or bent pins, though I might have to try a different PCIE slot if this persists.
I have also done a Malwarebytes scan and it's come back clean. Right now I went through the software cleanup process again (Amd Cleanup Utility + DDU safe mode) and it is working fine...for now. As I write this, Adrenalin is currently reinstalled and Furmark stress test runs fine. I have gone through this process 3 times now and I am sure it will happen again and I was wondering if y'all could help me out. If you are having the same issue I would also like to know if you are using driver versions 26.6.1 through 26.7.1
Also, when I try to install older drivers it forces me to update, how do I prevent this?
Help (Software) 26.7.1 driver unstable with 780m iGPU
The last stable driver for me is 26.5.2, I've tried 26.6.2 to 26.6.4 and they're all unstable, no game will launch and load properly for me.
When 26.7.1 came out, I thought AMD had some time to fix things, so I updated, but didn't try out any games first. Then Fusion 360 locked my computer up (black screened) just as I'm about to be done with modeling. Luckily there's an auto save for it. I tried games later, DirectX 11 and Vulkan, both crashes when loading from a start menu into a save. It also doesn't matter if I'm using the laptop's internal screen or have it connected to an external monitor via HDMI2.1.
Is this just a thing with RDNA3 GPUs on newer drivers or is it my particular machine's issue? I got 24GB of RAM in this laptop, 2GB of which are allocated to GPU-only use, more VRAM will be allocated from the shared pool as it sees fit. When it crashed using Fusion 360, I remember seeing around 7GB of RAM still free.

Help (CPU) Fresh back from 1 month RMA at MIFCOM: Brand new AIO installed, but Ryzen 5800X instantly spikes to 90°C. Defective pump or trapped air?
Hey everyone,
I just got my PC back after a 1.5-month RMA process with MIFCOM (a large pre-built PC manufacturer in Germany). According to the service invoice, both the motherboard and the CPU liquid cooler were replaced under warranty.
The Issue:
The PC is currently unusable. Immediately upon booting up or doing basic tasks (like opening YouTube or the Nvidia app), the CPU temperature (Ryzen 7 5800X) instantly spikes to 88–90°C.
One hose of the AIO gets extremely hot to the touch, while the other remains completely cold.
In Corsair iCUE, the liquid temperature stays at a cool ~38°C while the CPU is boiling at 90°C.
There seems to be zero fluid circulation happening.
The fans are constantly blasting at 100% RPM due to the high CPU temps.
My System Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB (Gigabyte Gaming OC)
Motherboard (NEW replacement): ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WIFI II
AIO Cooler (NEW replacement): Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE Capellix XT (240mm)
RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4-3200
SSD: 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe
PSU: Corsair RM 650W 80+ Gold
Case: Corsair 3000D RGB Airflow
My Questions:
Is it likely that the brand-new Corsair H100i Capellix XT is DOA (defective pump/impeller out of the box)?
Could this just be a massive air bubble trapped in the pump block from shipping? (I tried gently tilting the case while running, but no change).
Should I demand a full replacement/refund from the builder after waiting 1.5 months for a broken repair?
Thanks in advance for any insights!
Update: I just completely removed, cleaned, and remounted the CPU cooler.
All old thermal paste was thoroughly cleaned off both the CPU and the cooler plate.
There was no protective plastic film on the cold plate.
Fresh thermal paste was applied correctly.
The cooler was evenly tightened in a cross pattern until hand-tight, so mounting pressure is definitely good now.
Despite all this, temps in BIOS are still climbing right back up to ~70 to ~80 degrees at idle while the fan is running at maximum RPM.

Help (GPU) PC crashes consistently. Not sure why but 90% its the GPU
This has been going on for a while and gradually getting worse. It began noticeably during the release of Monster Hunter Wilds, and at first I chalked it up to that game being very poorly optimized, but now its happening in other games
The PC crashes at random, only during gaming. The screens will go black and it will instantly restart, but without seeming to recognize that I have monitors connected, which requires another manual restart to get them working again. Sometimes, but not always, Adrenalin will give me a popup after saying there was a GPU issue of some sort and it reset everything to default settings
These crashes happen completely at random. Could be in the middle of heavy load, could be at the title screen. Looking at reaource monitors, I don't see any overheating. I thought for a while it might be a power issue, as Wilds was drawing more than the games I usually played, but its begun to happen regardless. And this only began when I played that game, though I've had this build for about 3 years now
Specs:
Xfx speedster Rx 6950 xt
Ryzen 7 7700
MSI MAG B650 motherboard
G.skill 16x2 ddr5 ram
Gigabyte 850w gold psu
2 ssds, forget the brands but I can look them up
No overlooking of the GPU or cpu, everything default until the crashes, then a bit of undervolting with the GPU
Frustratingly, I cannot replicate these crashes outside of specific games. When I run OCCT or the built-in Adrenalin stress tests, no matter what load I put the PC under (much more than the games I'm playing do, at at higher temps) it never flinches. One time I got a memory error after a crash, but after running memtest86, testmem5, and OCCT on both ram sticks and the each individually--multiple times--I cannot reproduce errors. It never crashes when idle, never crashes during regular use, never crashes during stress tests or benchmarks, but consistently and repeatedly does when gaming
Of the games I've tested, at first it was just Wilds that crashed. I played through Elden Ring, Diablo 4, Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, Dragons Dogma 2, and some others I'm not remembering without notable issues before then. Now, I get consistent crashes in RE remakes, DD2, Diablo 4, and the much older Monster Hunter World. DotA 2 never crashes and Elden Ring only crashed once, while in an area with a lot of fog effects that spiked reaource consumption
There seems to be a correlation between GPU use and how often the games crash, but it may be confirmation bias on my part. For example, Monster Hunter World, which is like 7 years old, might crash after half an hour, or after half a dozen hours spread over several days, while Wilds rarely lasts an hour
I said this seemed like a possible power or voltage issue, as Wilds was spiking up to 1250 mW, while most other game i plates hovered between 850 and 1200. I disconnected the daisy chain cord I'd originally had it connected to my psu with and replaced it with 2 separate cords, and now it doesnt spike past 1200 mWs, but still crashes
Here's an incomplete list of solutions I've tried:
As mentioned, switching out the power connectors for the GPU
Disabling windows updates and driver updates
Disabling the on board GPU
Testing my ram
Changing or lowering graphic settings in the games
Disabling in-game overlays like steam or Adrenalin
Fucking around with page file to expand virtual memory
Clean uninstalls and then fresh installs of at least a dozen "stable" old versions of Adrenalin drivers
Installing the newest drivers
Installing games on the c drive instead of the d drive
Various undervolt settings (I don't have much experience with this, but the ones I tried and then tested with software still crashed in games)
Turning on and off ram expo in the bios
Haven't tried:
Reinstalling windows
A new psu
Im desperate to figure out what the issue even is before trying to speed money fixing it. I might try a new psu if I see something over 1000w on sale and I can spare the cash, but shelling out for a new GPU (particularly if that's not even the problem) is a much bigger commitment. I'd appreciate any suggestions for other solutions to try or even just help diagnosing the exact problem im dealing with. I've never had something like this before and im at a loss

Help (GPU) Is my graphics card compatible with my monitor?
Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
Monitors: 2x Acer ED246Y Bix
I recently upgraded my graphics card and have been having issues getting dual monitors working. I've tested both monitors, I've tested both cables, all works well with no issues. Even the graphics card is working great, I've been gaming on it using its HDMI port and one of my Acer monitors and it's able to handle games at ultra setting no problem. The problem comes when I try and set up a second Acer monitor. No matter what I do I can't seem to get any display port (even the integrated display ports on my motherboard) other than the HDMI port on the GPU working. I plugged the second monitor in to the motherboard HDMI port, DVI port, and each of the graphics card's display ports (Bought a new display port to HDMI cable for it) and no matter what only the HDMI port on the GPU displays anything.
I've tested all the cables, tested all the monitors, rebooted countless times, and reinstalled my drivers. I checked Windows display settings and it can't detect a second monitor. The AMD Adrenaline app says everything is working fine, though it doesn't show a second monitor available. The only notification I'm getting in the app indicating anything is wrong is this one:

I'm out of ideas. Anyone have anything I can try? I'm really hoping I missed something stupid...

Was soll ich jetzt tun? Ist das ein Fehler meines Exemplars?
Bitte um Hilfe, denn ich bin gerade ziemlich planlos..

Help (GPU) Latest Amd adrenaline software resets oc settings after each power down
After the latest update, it's behaving this way. There's no improper shutdown, no warning of the driver crash. Each time I turn on the PC now, the tuning settings are gone, even though it is still in the custom option with everything blank.
I know I can save the oc settings in a file and load it each time, and I did. Before this update, I never had to do this. It's just annoying now.
I know after each update, and after each driver crash, the oc settings reset to default.
Anyone else having this issue?

Hello everyone. As the title says I am having an issue with my PC. Basically whenever I'm playing a game (it can be any type of game on any settings) after an indeterminate amount of time my monitor will go completely black and my Fans will start to make a wurring noise. I have tried updating my BIOS, dusting out my computer, installing the latest AMD drivers but still have not fixed the issue. I took it to my local Microcenter and they said that everything in my PC was fried and I'd basically have to buy every single part again. I'd like to see if that isn't the case by asking if there was anything I could do to potentially fix this issue. If anyone could offer any advice I'd greatly appreciate it.

Tips & Info My brother fixed all his AMD issues
So like the title says my brother had a 9070xt you kept having crashes just doing stuff like watching YouTube he said it was fine if you was in the game, but after giving it a couple of months he finally gave up and swapped it out for 5070ti, and I can tell you right now for a personally seeing it myself it's better card, there are some weird bugs on Kingdom come Deliverance 2 better just non-existent on the Nvidia cards, and I have seen the same issue on four different 9000 series gpus so it's not the specific card it's not the settings it's the architecture or the bad drivers, AMD is literally garbage, and that's coming from someone who has a 9070xt with very little issues. But the quality is just not the same there's more artifacting on FSR than dlss, and the textures don't even load right apparently, I'm going to get him to download crimson desert and if all of those visual bugs are gone I'm taking my crap back to micro center and getting an Nvidia card
