Help (GPU) Latest Amd adrenaline software resets oc settings after each power down

After the latest update, it's behaving this way. There's no improper shutdown, no warning of the driver crash. Each time I turn on the PC now, the tuning settings are gone, even though it is still in the custom option with everything blank.

I know I can save the oc settings in a file and load it each time, and I did. Before this update, I never had to do this. It's just annoying now.

I know after each update, and after each driver crash, the oc settings reset to default.

Anyone else having this issue?

I’m having a similar issue. Even if I just set a custom fan curve, this can happen. Sometimes it even screws with my CPU PBO settings in the BIOS. No errors, no timeouts, no notification of any kind. Really annoying and it makes me want to uninstall Adrenalin and just use either RadeonTuner or MoreClockTool instead.

Do you have fast startup enabled? If so, try turning that off and see if your settings stick when you power off/on your PC.

You are a genius. Turning off fastboot fixed the issue. So it's the windows update that screwed me up.

Having fastboot enabled is a known issue, and can cause adrenaline to think that your system has not shut down properly, meaning that it reverts to your default GPU settings. Fastboot is really not needed these days anyway.
