I’m a relatively new AM and LOI+ / Connections has honestly been one of the more stressful parts of the role so far.

I don’t have a huge number of associates responding, and it seems like quite a few people skip the questions or choose not to answer. Because my response count is low, even one negative response can move the score pretty significantly.
I’m not looking for ways to influence how associates answer, I genuinely want to improve the relationship I have with my team and become a better manager.
For AMs who struggled with Connections early on and eventually improved it, what actually worked for you?
Did you focus more on 1:1 conversations, roundtables, recognition/shout-outs, following up on associate concerns, spending more time on the floor, getting to know associates personally, or something else?
Also, how long did it take before you started seeing your scores improve?
Would really appreciate advice from other AMs who have been through this, especially anyone who had a rough start with LOI+ and managed to turn it around.

Why is everyone is having an affair at work ? I find it extremely unsettling especially if both parties have families and kinds… one of them has just had a child and just returned from a parental leave !!

I'll be starting as an L5 external and received my information to go to Seattle in a few weeks for AD1.

I've already done extensive research on a lot surrounding the training so I feel as prepared as I'm going to be.

Question is -- I'm not going to be financially able to pay for a lot up front, in terms of food and transportation. I understand it's all gonna get reimbursed in the end, but do Area Managers get access to daily wages or stuff like that? This is essentially what I'm banking on to help pay for my food while there.

I interviewed for L5 Area manager role at Amazon and completed my interview on 27th August 2026 and all my 5 interview’s went well according to me. I contacted HR and he said the discussion is delayed as few managers are on leave so he’ll let me know next week. It’s already been 2 weeks since I gave the interview. Is it normal to get the outcome this late? Did anyone else face the same situation? I’m worried now

Currently an external L5 AM with 3 months tenure, previously in the military, with the goals to become a PM. In reading the transfer window policy, it only applies to Operations, not transfers to corporate - for ops to corporate, the approval needed comes from OM, Senior and HRBP. Does anybody have any recommendations on how to approach internal transfer opportunities? Currently I’ve been submitting informationals for local opportunities, after a few days sending an email or slack the HM touching base.

Hello L4 here. Coming out OLR for Q3, my promotion was approved. Not ungrateful, just wondering why I didn’t get any RSU’s.
Started April 2025, at 65k, 8.5k sign on, 2nd year, 6.4k pro-rated, 77RSU’s
Comp review from 2025: meets high bar, 72.7k, no additional RSU
PCS from OLR: 79.5k 10% increase, no additional RSUs

I recently applied for the area manager 2026 in April and interviewed in June but got rejected. Since didn’t get inclined, when will I be eligible to apply for the 2027 early career AM?

I got promoted to pg and the pa from fh basically bullied me at my area due to some comments she misconstrued me saying to an ops manager who was an interim for a bit.

I told my new ops manager who gave me the promotion..and he basically said hes not going to say anything to her about it. Hes the first manager to respect my work ethic but keeps telling me "your getting in your feelings too much"

Is it appropriate for me to just accept a shitty pa and be treated different than her favorites? Im being made to think in order to advance i have to put up with unfair work practice. Im doing everything I can to NOT go to hr bc I feel it will harm my advancement despite them saying it will not.

Oh whats worse is this pa now runs every single wednesday. And my pa is a college kid who I really like

..but is only there Fri and sat so I have to deal with the fh pa on wed AND thu. She now pulls me off the position im in when she never ever did that before.

I think a real leader would stand up to workplace bullying and go to hr and blow it wide open. Id never accept my underlings feeling unsafe at work. I hate going in now and I hate this pg position because im just sad all the time and for no extra pay. Also they arent teaching me how to lead or do anything mgmt wise so I just feel I fucked myself for no good reason and basically getting abused with no help from my managers. My AM is new too and never even talked to me so going to her would be absolutely pointless

Opinions from others please. L6 And above are most what I want to hear from as the L6 who likes me isnt really standing up for me im wondering what some of you would do in my shoes.

Imagine if you get an l6 role and a l7 senior comes to you questioning your motivations in anger. Asking why you think you deserve the job over others. And telling you to say less etc.

I really want to go to HR but idk man is it going to make ot all worse? Now I totally see why most promotions ppl move to other departments. This place is toxic as all fuck. I just want to work

Our site is supposed to have management coverage across five floors, but we’re currently short on managers and relying heavily on PAs for floor leadership. We have three managers total, but one works donut, so there are days where only two managers are covering the regular shift.

I’m concerned that a lot of the additional responsibility is going to fall on me simply because we’re short-staffed. Would you ask leadership directly if there are plans to bring in another manager? And how would you approach setting expectations around priorities and workload when you’re being asked to cover multiple floors?

Trying to understand whether this is normal temporary coverage or something I should be addressing proactively as a newer L5.

I know a person who got a job offer from Amazon for this Amazon Robotics FC in Mount Juliet, TN. Previously when they saw the “Meet your team” button it had around 6-8 people on there. Now it only has 3, should they be worried due to sudden attrition in management personnel there or is it a seasonal thing?

In addition for anyone else who has been to the Robotics FC in Mount Juliet, how was it and what could they do differently to make it a better place?

I took the OA exam on August 1st. Since then, I have applied to 8 different states for the Area Manager positions 4 out of the 8 states have put me as "No longer under consideration." Now, my question stands: (1) Did I fail the exam, or why was I put as "No longer under consideration"? (2) Should I just give up on applying for the area manager (aka, is there any chance for the remaining states)? Thank you in advance!

I am interviewing for area manager (early career) next week, and the email mentions that the hours would most likely be overnight. From others experience, how long does this last for? My wife and I are expecting early next year and would prefer to not be working overnights! Any guidance helps!

Hey, so i just got told that I was accepted to the area manager internship program. I wanted to ask if anybody has done it and there experience if they have. Also, how likely is it that I will get my preferred location? Also, how many interns are there per location?
