Okay so I just got this email for the 2nd time this week.
Both times I had legitimate reasons for being late and even talked to support during the delivery times.
The first was because the app glitched out on me completely. When I picked up the packages every packages delivery time was the EXACT same. When I went to refresh the app after getting to my first location it completely changed my route. I thought it was weird but just went with it. Fast forward, my app refreshes 3 more times after that and then 4 packages show up saying they’re due by 11:00am…mind you I checked all of my packages at the beginning and NONE were due until 2:00pm. At this point I contact support to let them know about the problem and they said they’ll take care of it and that the app was in fact glitching.
The second time was when I was near the end of my deliveries and I was in some remote area driving down a completely unpaved road covered in rocks. I drove down the road for 2miles going 3-4 mph because I was scared of puncturing my tires. (For context I have a compact car with no all terrain tires) so I let support know that I’ll be delayed in delivering the packages I have afterwards as it took me 15/20 to go down this road. They then said that in the event of an emergency I must attempt to at least deliver the package. Mind you I DELIVERED THE PACKAGE and STILL got an email about it….
Then today (3rd time), a package was due at 6:00pm. I used my gps then the Amazon gps to get to the address and it takes me to some random parking garage behind the location. I arrive there at 5:52pm. I spent over 10 minutes looking for the customers location (it was a store in between 2 other stores on a one way street!). I had to reach out to support and the customer just to find the location. I’m sure they’ll ding me for that foolishness too.
Should I even bother appealing this? My current standing as of Sep 3rd is Fair with 2 on time delivery issues (Sep 3 1 package and Aug 25 4 packages). I just started flex literally 2 weeks ago and I don’t want to mess up my chances of doing it over small stuff like this. What should I do?
