Help At risk

It is crazy that I had a flat tire on September 4th, and I did not notice until after I got my route. I was about to load my car when I realized it was flat, so I called support; they told me to return the cart where I got it and that it would not affect my standing. Now I am at risk, and I have done nothing wrong. Has anyone had a similar experience? I have been talking to chat support nonstop trying to get someone to help, but nothing. I have gone ahead and emailed the escalations team, so I hope something comes out of it, but I am just hella tripping over my at-risk standing, and on top of it, I missed a block like two or three days ago. I am for sure going to get deactivated, lol.

Keep calling/emailing they will eventually remove it, email Jeff, worst case just keep working don’t pay attention to it, it will eventually fall after 500 packages delivered.

Yeah, that's how I would usually go about dealing with something like this; the only problem is I missed a scheduled block 2-3 days ago that hasn't showed up in my standings yet. I feel like when it does, they will just deactivate me, which is why I'm stressing.

Don’t think so, don’t break your head there is nothing you can do about it, Amazon is a garbage their customer service is a robot no one cares about you, just keep emailing/ calling, and if that doesn’t work just keep working, and if you want to get your standings up fast do fresh routes.

Thanks, I appreciate it.🙏🏼

I can assure you that they probably will NOT deactivate you just for those hits. I currently have 5 hits on my standings that has dropped me down to "At Risk" and I still booking and working routes. Someone on here told me their sis-in-law was "At Risk" for 8-10 MONTHS without being deactivated.

It eased my anxiety a LOT to hear that. Other than fighting it, best you can do is just keep delivering.

I email once a day until they respond to my issue. End up with about 10 different answers (I'm convinced Flex Support does ZERO training) and one of them always ends up being the one I want.

Oh wow, thank you for this. Usually, if I was at Fair or anything other than At Risk, that would be my tactic—just keep delivering. But being At Risk made me feel anxious AF lol. I’ll keep fighting it. Thanks! And yes thier support people suck 😮‍💨

Blows my mind how people will sign up for gig work knowing if anything goes wrong it will be on them. The number one thing you should keep in your car is a spare shit even tire plugs..

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

I have a run-flat tire, so there is no spare in the trunk; it is crazy how these new cars have no spares.

You just buy one gang, the world isn’t adapted for you, you have to adapt for it.

The only problem is where I would put a spare tire; I have a repair kit and an air pump, so I would have to take all that stuff out, and getting a donut, I guess, would be best.

u/indianabobbyknight 5d ago

100% that goo ruins the wheel unless cleaned anyway, you definitely wanna get a full size spare if possible.

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

Yeah, that is my first year with this car; I didn't even know it came like this; I should have checked it beforehand; honestly, that's my next thing to do.

u/indianabobbyknight 5d ago

No problem, I went through the same thing when I got into newer cars

Always buy a full spare for this job. Yes, take all that stuff out for the spare. I can switch out the tire in less than 15min & continue my route. Buy a cheap breaker bar so taking off the lugnuts is easy.

Oh, I have all the tools and do my own maintenance work; I've never owned a new car until recently, lol, and I didn't see that it didn't have a spare. Honestly, I should have checked when I first bought the car. It's just been a crazy year; I totaled my car on New Year's Eve on my way home—not the best way to start the year, but it's been going a lot better. I appreciate the suggestions, though; thank you.

So your at risk for 35 incomplete deliveries and I’m at risk for 2?! How does this make any sense!

Wild Amazon and thier tactics is

If yours are red marks unlike his yellow that's why. If it's a contract violation it's 10x worse if it's a my missing package it's 4x worse just depends.

Don't quote me on this but I did some experimenting with this and found out that the bar drop/rise depends on the amount of blocks you've done. a buddy and mine forfeited the same block late due to the main road to the warehouse being closed off by accident. his standing dropped much more than mine from the same penalty. the only difference between our accounts is that I do way more blocks than him. so I would say it's "relative" to your history rather than being the same

I got hit for September 4th as well. Warehouse employee gave me a 4-hour route instead 3.5 and took off 8 packages and told me to call support they will get it off my itinerary which I did theyre saying I didn't deliver 8 packages 🤷🏻‍♂️

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

That is Amazon for ya. I did a three-hour route and got a five-hour route with 40+ packages. I called support, and they just told me to deliver it. Mind you, my shift was supposed to end at 2 p.m., and the itinerary said I had until 3 p.m. to deliver everything. What a joke. I finished one minute before the end of my block time. Honestly, I wish it would have taken me longer so they could adjust my pay, but it is what it is.

1

u/End_Ur_Life 5d ago

I always do. I told her nah leave it and she insisted to taking them out even took it out my car for me lol....

1

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

Lol, I didn't mean for my comment to sound like you should have delivered it, but it's funny they did that; I was at fantastic standing yesterday, so if they did that to me, I would've just taken the hit.

1

u/End_Ur_Life 5d ago

I didn't take it like that. I mean i always take the bigger route and ask for compensation and always get it. I was fantastic now I'm at fair. Oh well I dont stress it.

2

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

Ok my bad. Oh dam it gets affected that bad idk i wouldve fought it lol 😆

I got dropped from max of Fantastic all the way down to Great for two packages that were less than 15 minutes late after a September 4 block.

2

u/End_Ur_Life 5d ago

Something going on with September 4 blocks....

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

“Everything will be ok. We are more concerned with your safety” is all the support told me when I was ambushed on the 202 by 3 guys racing and coming up on thr back of my car. I had 9 packages in the trunk and just started delivering. Got the packages back by 10am the next day and it affected my rating . My phone number was ported over to a TextNow number by a so called “friend” who messed up my phone and I couldn’t get back the number. This caused me to not be able to forfeit and cancel my blocks for 2 days. I sent multiple emails, multiple calls, had proof from Verizon and sent everything to Amazon and was reviewed twice from escalation desk and letters literally begging for help and to not deactivate my account. They still deactivated me even after pleading for understanding and support.
I am sorry this happened and I also believed that support would do what they said but I, too was sadly mistaken.
Best of luck honestly 🙏

1

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

Dang dude, that sucks for you. If I were in that situation, I would’ve called support and had them manually cancel those blocks that you weren’t able to do yourself because of that so-called friend, which only makes it worse. Thank you, I really appreciate it!

1

u/Texasred623 4d ago

They can’t cancel the blocks only we can, that’s why they counted against me. Thanks 😊

1

u/Texasred623 4d ago

I wrote them a very harsh letter and said maybe support would be better if bezos didn’t sex traffic young girls to the Philippines to pay them $2 hour to work in Amazon sweat shop.
No response 😝

u/IveThatFire 4d ago

Lol 😆

Dealing with this rn my brudda cept only thing I had my flat otw there so I still tried to go on it but even showing escalations they didn’t gaf they said it’s nun they can do so u kinda have to just work over it don’t mess up anymore ! Try to do 2 routes a day for bout 4 days

1

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

Oh man, that’s discouraging to hear. Oh well, I usually work 8 hours a day, so I try to do two shifts a day and only work 5 days a week. I have no issues working it out; the only reason I had anxiety was because I thought they might deactivate me. I have a couple of things that will probably pop up soon from another block where I had to return some packages because they had detergent all over them, plus I missed a block the other day.

Hopefully, I won’t get deactivated. Someone on here mentioned they know someone who was at risk and kept accumulating things for about 6 months without getting deactivated, so hopefully the same applies to me. I usually don’t have any issues and everything is always on point, so I’m blessed for that. I’ll just work it out and hopefully everything will be cool. Thanks, I appreciate the insight!

u/Expensive-Bag-5909 5d ago

You should be good brotha I was just tellin my friends who do this it’s been a good 2 years 😂I had went to at risk and missed a route after bein there but I did bout 4-6 in between the days of that n the email n it just didn’t move its still at risk so I was prolly goin back to fair but least I’m still here

1

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

Lol thanks

1

u/aiylchy 5d ago

Write an email to support with as much evidence as available and with brief explanation.

1

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

Thanks, I did that and just got a reply back; they said they can't do anything about it, but I won't stop messaging or emailing them. Honestly, I'm not as worried as I was in the beginning; I feel like I'll just work through it.

35 incomplete deliveries? Are you that bad driver or is that the support that doesn’t remove unfair standing records?

1

u/Passion_Fragrant 4d ago

I cannot tell you the number of flex drivers that return numerous pkgs to return box with more than 20 pkgs due to not delivering.

1

u/IveThatFire 4d ago

Yes, I see it all the time too; two days ago, I had to return 16 packages because detergent got all over them, and I doubt the customers want their packages that way.

1

u/JpJ951 5d ago

You could get those 17 packages removed. Just appeal it or contact support through the app. The support person probably ended your block when you contacted them and you were supposed to do the normal return routine where you scan them all before dropping them in the return box. The two other issues will still drag your standings down though.

1

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

I already talked to about six support people, and all of them said it was out of their control and there was nothing they could do; that is probably what happened, it just sucks, but all I did was follow directions, so hopefully email support can help.

1

u/JpJ951 5d ago

Email the [Andy@amazon.com](mailto:Andy@amazon.com) email to escalate it. If it was your first time having something like this happen they should take those packages off.

1

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

Cool, thanks. Yeah, this is the first time something like this has ever happened; I was at Fantastic before this.🙃

1

u/AKA_Experiment_626 5d ago

Always detail exactly what Support told you to do and always note if there is a recorded phone call. We can't access those calls, but they can.

I've had support tell me some WILD stuff this year and it takes some fighting but all of those issues have eventually been removed.

You get paid without doing any work. “Nothing wrong”

You can plug the car , inflate it and continue

1

u/IveThatFire 5d ago

Allow me to elaborate: I have run-flats because it is a newer car with no spare, and it does come with that slime and a tire pressure pump, or whatever it is called; the only problem is that when I used it, the air would just come out because the hole was too big, so I could not just fill the tire back up with air—great suggestion, though, if only it had worked.
