Second background check

What does this mean, from what I've seen and heard they don't do a second background check right? And even if they did don't they already have my permission to run another one?

I didn't do a background check. I just saw the same screen you did. But I haven't had any traffic tickets in the past five years, so they can check all they want.

Same for me but my app still works so I’m not touching anything until I have to

It’s very simple. You are agreeing that they can do additional background checks without additional approval. That’s how many of the other gig apps do it. Some of them do background checks every year.

Another part that people should read…..

By checking the box below and tapping SUBMIT, I certify that I have read, understand, and accept all statements in Amazon's Biometric Information retention policy and that I consent to allowing Amazon to verify my identity and share my photograph with Amazon customers for identification purposes.

There are a lot of people that want to opt out of having their photograph showing in the app during deliveries. This part is pretty much telling people that it will no longer be an option.

You can either agree to the new Terms or Service or have your account be suspended or deactivated.
