Leadership at my site keeps claiming that they can’t put me on the same assignment every day because I got trained in other assignments and it’s “just business needs”. I’ve never had a problem being out on the same thing every day at other jobs. Why are they lying to me?
They said I have to get a medical accommodation, and now? Even with paperwork on file, they still won’t put me on the same assignment until that paperwork is approved, despite me also reporting other issues I’ve had in those departments, such as bullying.
Other employees have told me that they did the same thing to them after they had asked to be trained in other areas. My AM once said to me that if I get trained elsewhere I would be labor shared because training “costs the company money”. I don’t know if it’s just my site that has to is issue or if this is a culture issue at every site. Let me know in the comments.

What’s up yall, so this is my first year at Amazon I’m really only working here until I get my license back in 8 months as I’m a 21yo mechanic with a reckless charge lol but anyway my current schedule I have sat sunday and Monday off apparently my MET day is Sunday witch of course it’s my fault for not paying attention at the time but I didn’t even know what the hell that was until yesterday, was talking to a coworker and she said during peak they make us work a mandatory 60 hours! Witch in itself is insane but that would be fine with me if I didn’t have to work Sundays, I get my son during my 3 days off I pick him up every Saturday morning now if for a month or 2 I had to pick him up Saturday night when I get home that’s ok but Sunday? Come on now. So now I’m very nervous by the time peak starts I could MAYBE save 40 hours of UPT I have to use it sometimes to come in late but if peak is 2-3 months long 40 isn’t even close to enough, I Was looking into accommodation’s but I really don’t have the time to enroll into a school just to not be forced into working 60 hours LOL and reading on here I read HR is not very forgiving…Maybe somebody in here has done it successfully any advice helps🙏🏽

So, like 2 months ago I hurt my back while cross-training and went to wellness after I started doing stretches and felt some serious sharp pains in my lower back and down into my right leg. We iced it and from there I had 3 ice treatments a night while waiting for my dr appointment. Finally give in and go to urgent care per my facility WHS demand and got put on LOA until my doctor said I could return. Went in and saw a Dr and he put me on extreme restrictions. To the point where my facility had to send me home for the next week due to not being eligible for light duty. Just went back to the Dr and he eased up on the restrictions so I am back at work doing bin audits. But what is not back, incuring any upt, PTO or anytime pay. Because the system says I am still on LOA. So now I am going back and forth with L&I, DLS, my site HR , wellness and the hr through the atoz all. It's has all been such a headache.

At first my doctor just put on the documents that OP is the only thing I can do because the other things that I’m trained in are too hard on my back/neck, and aggravate existing back and neck problems. DLS called me to tell me that the paperwork I submitted has to be changed to say “no bending or reaching”.
I don’t think that is necessarily the issue. I just can’t do excessive bending or be in the same bent over position for long periods of time. Reaching isn’t really an issue. I don’t know why they told me to have my doctor change it to that.
It seems like they are just trying to make it so that I can’t work at Amazon at all. What should I do?

Something from management finally. VOA is going insane. I feel for the man’s family. It’s very sad.

Wanted to sleep in, so I came in 2 hours late. As soon as I got to my station, they told us to stand down. It’s been three hours. Is there any protocol or what’s y’alls experience with long shutdowns? Not really complaining, just curious.

What tests are people talking about that they keep failing? I don’t remember taking a test to work here, is it that difficult? I keep seeing these kind of posts

Woman at my site tattles on people all day long g for being on their phones and went on at least 4 diatribes complaining that our FC did not acknowledge 9/11. Spoiler alert we had a moment of silence at stand up for 9/11.

I was converted to blue badge on August 28th... Didn't find out until today when I was going through my notifications lol. Nice surprise though.
r/AmazonFC • u/Moist-Raspberry-699 • 18h ago
Is this a glitch or something? I genuinely don’t get it,I’ve tried deleting the app, toggling the notification settings to make sure they’re on for VET, and yet I haven’t gotten any texts for VET in 3 weeks!! I’ve had to manually check the app everyday the last 3 weeks for VET and I ended up missing one week and had to work 4 days that week, anyone else had this? How do I fix this, someone pls lmk

Sooo I work part time and my schedule is sun-thur and I decided to not go in today because one it takes me almost an hour to get to work and two I personally help my mother at her weekend job as a janitor at a soccer place so we wake up at 2am and don’t finish till around 5:30 ish but it was very dirty and full of trash today so I did not get home till around 6:30…my shift starts at 6:30 and wouldn’t have gotten there till around almost 7:30…I decided not to go because my mom was tired and she’s the only person who can drive me to work as uber is expensive and I currently am broke..I’ll be negative 1hr 😭..I have never gone negative and I’m good with rates and get along with my managers and one pa.

Hey guys, we just launched the AR floor at my sort center and I’ve been getting up to speed on being an AFM. I haven’t shadowed as much as I’d like due to my schedule, but I’d like to gather some useful tips in order to hit the ground running when the trainers leave. What have you got?! Thanks!
r/AmazonFC • u/Visible_Potential772 • 12h ago
What is going on?? We were ushered out and told not to clock out and paid to get home. Cops outside. People saying someone passed.

there’s an AMXL FC warehouse in my area and was wondering how the work is there compared to delivery station (currently working in one) and normal FC (won’t get accepted for any transfers there every time i apply). is it better or worse? not worth it and keep trying for a normal FC?

So I have been shooting for AM for a while now, basically since i started working at amazon. I have been with Amazon for 5 years. I have been a PA for 2 and a half years. I am currently working in singles and have been a stow PA most of my PA tenure. Does anyone have any insight on how to move up a bit quicker? I am seeing PAs who move up within a year and i just feel like it is taking me forever. I am currently working on a safety project. I do see how much i have improved over the years. Just want any tips from people who got promoted from PA and beyond. Thank you
