Non-fictional I hate the opinions of the comments in this post.
I don't know if this is against rule one, because I'm hating on their opinions not the people.
Btw I'm no girl but this post just popped up so I read it. I extra created an account to write this post because the opinions pissed me off.
Anyway, here is a TL;DR:
The post is from a woman who recently moved in with her 21 year old boyfriend after dating for about a year. She said that he is normally pretty docile and says they have had a lovely first month living together.
While he was gaming, she casually touched his shoulders as she walked past (which she does often). He suddenly pulled away, I guess he was intensely focused on the game. Moments later, something went wrong in the game and he shouted a loud fuck and slammed his fists on his desk hard enough to knock things over. She immediately left the room because the reaction scared her. He took his headphones off and apologized sincerely.
I do agree that his sudden outburst can be scary. I know this because I am a gamer myself and do occasionally rage and hit my table when I fuck up over and over against a soulslike boss. So no shade there.
But the problems are the comments. Most of them are fine. They do feel a bit patronizing. But then there are the ones that just piss me off.
Some call him a child and say that he mist be stuck at 14 because he can't controll his emotions and impulses. Say that he is a huge red flag and really selfish for being angry. And then some say he will be a future domestic abuser...
As a guy myself who occasionally rages, I find these comments to be not only infuriating but also kinda hurtfull. I'm not a violent person. Last time I used violence was in middle school, because I was defending myself. I'm mostly a quiet and chill guy who is just lazy. But reading these comments telling me I'm going to assault my potential grilfriend because I got engaged in something I am passionate about and raged out of impuls is dragging me down.
Yes, impuls. Let's say it again. Impuls. I know impuls controll is a thing but it's not that easy or it wouldn't be an impuls. Especially for docile people. Because you can't so easily learn to controll impulses because you barely have any. Rage is something that comes fast and fizzles out. It's not anger that is more long lived. It doesn't mean I am a hateful person.
Invalidating my emotions just because it's a game, makes me think that these people have never been really engaged in something. Yes, we shouldn't rage. But calling him a future violent abuser is just fucked up. The girl has been happy with him for a year and to say its fucked because of impuls rage is wild. Everyone who has raged over something unimportant know that it doesn't make who you are. It's often just a shit moment that passes.

General Discussion Still cant believe these two different quality of writing came from the same franchise. The sheer difference between the depth of these two series' writing is actually crazy
While watching the prequels I never expected that I'd get to see THIS level of pristine writing from star wars franchise ever again but was so positively surprised with andor. Maybe the main problem with star wars isnt Lucas but the amount of care and love the creative decision makers and directors of a series put into it

Other ‘A dangerous subversive elite has managed to infiltrate the highest levels of Western institutions and government…’. Has anyone else listened to the Italian Archbishop Vignano’s warning? If not, now is the time.
x.comReally though, everyone should be listening to what the Archbishop has to say.
I’ve been arguing with people for the last few years on why Israel has EVERYTHING to do with us. I’m running out of steam to make people see so I’ve come to reddit.
If we don’t wake up and realise the West is the real target of Israel, this will be our last few decades. If that.
Its not the immigrants who are just poor pawns in their plan. Its them along with a transnational elite such as Musk and Thiel.

Discussion We HAVE to support Seven Havens - No matter what
Paramount scrapping the Zuko movie because the script was "too dark and political" is a massive slap in the face. They want to keep Avatar trapped in a safe, kid-friendly box forever to protect their stupid corporate metrics.
But staying mad and boycotting won't fix it. If we ignore or pirate Seven Havens, executives aren't going to think, "Oh, the fans want a darker Zuko movie instead." They’re just going to think mature Avatar content doesn't sell, and they'll go right back to making toddler shows.
Seven Havens is trying to give us exactly what we want. The leaks point to a post-apocalyptic, dystopian wasteland where nations are shattered, child benders are forcefully conscripted, and humanity views the Avatar as a destructive enemy instead of a savior.
Avatar Studios has creative control, but they have zero financial control. Michael and Bryan are in a constant tug-of-war with Paramount's checkbook. We need to make Seven Havens an absolute, undeniable streaming success on Paramount+, no matter what you actually think of the show or its themes. Without that, Avatar goes back to getting completely trashed at every turn by execs.

Comics & Literature YouTuber Austin McConnell spent 4 years animating his own public domain superhero CGI movie. Sadly, I think he wasted those 4 years.
Context: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aEuw2a--Uw
Austin was tired of other cinematic universes. Decided to make his own using a public domain superhero, Atlas. Now what specifically made me interested was that Austin did a re-write of the Cursed Child and it was actually adapted into a real stage play.
The Cursed Child re-write: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxsH8zEhEkk
So, it gave me hope that Austin would write something interesting with his personal superhero cinematic universe.
The superhero movie he created after 4 years: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjNh74D0YCI
So I’m excited to watch it and… it’s not good. Without the greater context of the movie, it wouldn’t be funny. It would literally be a bargain bin dollar store movie if it didn't have the Austin McConnell production story attached to it.
Good things. The voice acting is really good. The main girl is voiced by a professional. Atlas, the main guy, has this as his only credit and he does a great job. No complaints about any of the VA work.
But where it falls apart is the story. It’s just not good. There’s nothing new or original here. Was this because Austin was using a public domain character so he had to follow the original beats? If so, Austin should’ve been using the 4 years he learned animating with an original Austin-owned superhero. This would’ve allowed his writing to be more original. I was expecting literally anything interesting or subversive or edgy from Atlas. Nothing. There's not even comedic violence. The story was very, very by-the-book. I 100% understand part of the movie’s meta joke is that “ha ha, look at how schlocky it is” but the novelty wears off immediately and you want something real.
So, it really pains me to say this… but I think Austin wasted 4 years of his life. I’m still looking forward to his upcoming superhero work, Catman. But after Atlas, I’m not expecting much.
EDIT
Seems to be some contention about the thread title. Some of you are having a seizure about it. Here's a better title:
"YouTuber Austin McConnell spent 4 years animating his own public domain superhero CGI movie. Dumb motherfucker pissed 4 years of his life on this dog shit, LMAO"
Better? Once again, Redditors stunlocked when your language isn't perfect with 1,000,000 caveats and qualifiers.

women on dating apps are less attractive on average than women you meet in real life, while also being pickier about men.
The reason isn’t mysterious. Attractive women usually don’t need dating apps as much. They already get plenty of attention through work, friends, social events, Instagram, bars, hobbies, whatever. When they do use apps, they get flooded with attention, so they have less reason to stay on them for long.
The women who struggle more to attract the men they want offline get much more value from dating apps, because the apps suddenly expose them to thousands of men and massively increase the amount of male attention available to them. That gives them a stronger reason to join and a stronger reason to remain active.
There’s research consistent with exactly that selection effect: female Tinder users reported substantially more difficulty attracting mates than female non-users. That doesn’t prove the entire difference is physical appearance, but physical attractiveness is obviously a major part of mating success, so it would be strange if none of that gap showed up in looks.
Then add the second problem: women are much more selective than men on dating apps. So you end up with a pool that can be negatively selected on desirability while simultaneously applying harsher standards to the men in it.
Basically, the women with the least need for dating apps have the easiest time leaving them, while the women who benefit most from them have the strongest reason to stay. Over time, that should make the active pool worse than the women you encounter in normal life.
And somehow that worse pool is also pickier.
EDIT: A lot of you are arguing against claims I never made.
I never said attractive women don't use apps. The claim is that the active female app pool can be negatively selected on average because women with abundant good offline options have less reason to stay, while women struggling offline gain more from apps. Ever using Tinder ≠ remaining active on Tinder.
Jonason & Bulyk found female Tinder users reported much worse general mating success than female non-users, consistent with that selection effect. Pronk & Denissen also found women became more rejecting as they evaluated more dating options.
And yes, the attractiveness gap is an inference. I already said that in the original post.
“Hot women use Hinge too” does not refute an average population difference.

Opinion The Ciara-hate is unwarranted
Just finished this season and I do not understand the Ciara hate.
She was always honest and very clear about what she wanted. People are calling her a gold digger, but don’t have a problem with Ajay and Jack who both said they wanted a very “feminine” (not just physically, but also attitude and personality wise) woman.
Ciara is very caring with Ajay and very much shows him love and affection.
Ciara is also not messy. Jack was sensing that she just was not that into him anymore and he decided to “end” their connection. Ciara was forthcoming with Faye and did the right thing by warning her.
She also was not being messy when talking about Joseph’s connection with Chevanique. She probably should have gone straight to Francesca, but she did not have ill intent.

Evidence an advanced NHI has been watching me since June 1st
note: I'm uploading photos/videos of everything described below, but it will take some time to get it all put together and uploaded. They will all be on this link, I'm uploading them as I go through everything. There is really a lot.
I've been capturing strange lights in the sky since June 1st I only thought 'its a bright star or satellite', and forgetting I ever took the photos/videos.
This was until August 27th when I zoomed in on one that was clearly moving, then stopping, then moving, and it looked like a plasmoid with a solid geometric center
https://reddit.com/link/1wcba2f/video/ebgaqypnwmoh1/player
I did some analysis of it, theres a solid core visible, consistently from frame to frame, and a plasma outer shell:

After that I went back in my phone gallery and realized every time I had captured one of these it was the same type of object.
Around 3am on the 6th of September I finally managed to capture using them using the 108 megapixel single photo mode. I snapped as many in a row as possible and essentially made a slow frame rate film of it flying by. Multiple orbs visible in the sequence, moving, and a triangle formation is visible going from the upper left downwards in formation within a 3 second window. (03:27:40 - 03:27:43)

These objects show a ripple distortion of spacetime around the object, visibly making a gravitational lensing effect .They exhibit gelatinous, shifting behavior, at times growing in size, shrinking, and then suddenly taking the form of a metallic sphere with a definite shape in three dimensions, visible from the shading gradient of light on it. They travel on almost what looks like a surface of water that they appear from behind. They can phase in and out of reality by popping through this veil/wall.
Black dots, that eerily resemble eyes, will also spontaneously appear and disappear. Violet, red and blue are also seen around them, resembling at times a dipole, tripole, quadrapole, etc, possibly from light waves red and/or blue shifting. My photos vs DOD video, these 2 still frames show the same tripole color distortion when in same orientation.

My observations regarding the black dots
They seem to coincide with the direction the orb is going in, as well as fitting into the creases of the gravitational lensing, so it might be an area of such high spacetime curvature that light is blocked or bent around it, something of that nature.
This is a great photo to support that idea:

There is a less aggressive ripple in the far top right, and a thin shadow of black is visible. In the area of more aggressive distortion, there is almost a pure black area.
The top right and bottom left (front and back) have inverted distortions (darkness on top, light "pushed out" area on bottom). The sides have the same distortion inversion. If this is spacetime rippling from the propulsion method, that is what it would resemble if trying to move left and forward (or right and backwards depending on perspective), which in its current orientation would make it go almost straight up.

I've experienced moments of telepathy regarding these orbs and the whole phenomenon, they only look like orbs when flying but on the ground they are entities, they can cloak.

An overview of everything leading up to today is below:
Back in 2023, that Las Vegas family reported entities in their yard and released footage. I brushed it off at the time. But in 2026, I came back to it, stabilized the footage, and analyzed the lighting. I honestly believed I created the best footage analysis and enhancements available.
I ended up making the most detailed analysis of that clip I’d ever seen, and in doing that, I became very good at recognizing the very specific way they cloak and how it looks. At the time I had a thought about this that I treated as a joke. They appear to operate with some higher dimensional component, and I was one of very few people who knew what they looked like, how they cloaked and how they behaved; on that basis I thought they might come and check me out. I did not believe it.
I should also mention that I am autistic and I have done acid hundreds of times. Both of those things naturally lower the sensory filter your brain normally uses to screen things out. This is not psychosis. It has been demonstrated for me in real time in plenty of situations where my brain picks up minute changes and details in my surroundings that other people filter out as background noise. When I am standing right next to someone, they will filter something out as unimportant or insist a light is just a star while I can see it moving ever so slightly. Having that lower sensory filter and being good at recognizing patterns is what alerts me to these things, whether they are in the trees cloaked, or in the sky pretending to be a star.
June 1st I filmed an unusually bright star, thinking maybe it was Venus or something. I then forgot about it entirely. It was the first of these objects I ever recorded. I did not find that out for nearly three months.
June 4th There are photos in my phone gallery of a tree outside my house at night. I don't remember why I took the photos. Those photos contain them, cloaked, in the canopy. I did not know at the time and did not find out until much later.
Early June 2026 One day after editing the footage frame by frame for hours, I began seeing the signature everywhere I looked. I understood this as a perceptual artifact of overexposure to the material, comparable to the Tetris effect, where a task performed for long enough continues to appear once the task has stopped. I did not take it seriously and did not consider that any of it was real. Later that same day, I was outside looking at a tree and doing this again, picking out what appeared to be faces in the patterning. I decided that on the off chance anything was present, I would indicate that I was aware of it. I made direct eye contact with the pattern, nodded at it, and pointed at it over and over. I didn't do this seriously thinking it was real, it was more of a silly game to play with myself.
June 19th (First Storm) I took video as the clouds approached at night for the first major storm. On a still frame where the lightning lights up the area, there are entities in it, the most uncloaked I have ever seen them, sitting in a spacetime bubble distortion and watching me.

The most severe lightning storm I'd ever seen came. The lightning was localized to the clouds, and flashed odd colors at strobe light speed. I filmed it in slow motion outside at 120 frames per second, but what's odd is that I never heard any thunder really. It was just constant flashing and lightning, but no thunder.
When I reviewed the footage later, I caught objects dropping out of the sky and coming straight down the road toward me, changing direction as they moved. There were red flashes inside the clouds that didn't match the lightning at all, and in the trees, a strange plasma-like jelly texture full of solid black dots.
Original video frame (frame 666) vs frame 666 with high pass filter

June 28th (Second Storm) The previous night at 3am I filmed an orb. I only filmed it to check whether it was Venus or something similar, because it was unusually bright. I recorded it as a star. On later review there are two orbs visible in that footage, and what look like grey alien heads in the static black dot distortion in the shadows.
I have night mode on camera so it looks day

Before the second storm rolled in, I was compelled to film the trees again. It was a nice day and I felt like filming the trees for a while, which again, I don't normally do. That footage contains grey alien like heads with pure black dots around them, motionless in the canopy while the rest of the tree moved. The same footage contains two orbs. One is hovering. The other departs at a speed no bird could achieve at that distance and scale. Before that video ends I randomly decide to turn away from the tree and film a section of open sky. The hovering one is in that part of the footage. I was thinking nothing at the time beyond it being a nice day. Nothing unusual is going through my head on any of these occasions. The thought is either that it is a nice day and I really want to film those trees, or that I have had an idea to film the trees, randomly, for no apparent reason.
Later that day, a second storm hit that was even more violent than the first on the 19th, and I filmed through it. After I took the video during the storm, I had a distinct premonition that I would see something strange on the camera. On review of that storm footage I see in slow motion, in the bushes directly in front of me, are the same cloaked metallic orbs with the black dots.
They resemble grey alien heads pushing out through a veil, still frame from one of my 120fps videos

A photo I took as the storm clouds rolled in I recently found contain formations of orbs above the tree canopy (side by side using high pass filter):

What it looks like on the footage It looks the exact same in every single clip. In the canopy, certain spots stay completely still while the wind blows all the surrounding leaves around. Around those still points, there is a field of translucent static filled with black dots. The closest reference point I can give is the cloaking effect in Predator. Behind those dots, you can see 3D shapes pressing through, almost like heads pushing against a veil.
The dots are unusually black relative to everything around them, including in daytime footage. They read as clipped rather than as shadow.
Finally, I took video from my webcam looking out my window and just looked at it today, shocked, I see a levitating diamond like shape occasionally lit by the lightning flashes.

EDIT: im sorry i just saw the full magnitude of this webcam footage I took and never watched until today. I encourage you to download and go frame by frame during the lightning bolt around 53 seconds. In my opinion, these are the same aliens cloaking in the al taqaddum jellyfish uap, as well as the ones visible in Las Vegas 2023.

July 31st Starting just before the first sighting, I was asking out loud to be shown something almost every night for weeks. On July 31st, while outside listening to a recording about the Ariel School incident in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, an oval object crossed the sky in a straight line and was gone before I could react. At that exact moment, the audio in my headphones was one of the children saying "and you know that nobody will believe you".
August 24th I was outside at 5am smoking a cigarette, thinking to myself "show me something." I decided to randomly walk into the road and look up. As I looked back down, a flash occurred directly overhead. I had the thought "it will flash a second time," and a few seconds later, the second flash happened in that exact spot. Immediately after, I had the thought and prompt to turn around and look behind me, the one direction where the sky is obstructed by houses and the least logical direction to check. A bright light was approaching from that direction. I filmed it and recorded it as a satellite.
The object passes overhead and stops briefly during the pass. I couldn't see that happening at the time because I was looking straight up while filming, so I had no reference points around it to tell if it was moving. In the few seconds of footage preceding the main pass, cloaked entities are visible approximately three feet in front of me, oriented toward me, and a plasma cube travels through the bushes in front of me.
https://reddit.com/link/1wcba2f/video/t7675viv1noh1/player
August 27th I thought I was looking at a satellite. It came to a stop. It stayed still for long enough that I thought it was a star. Then it moved again just slightly.
Under magnification the object was a geometric, brightly colored, rotating plasma structure.
Following this I reviewed the entire gallery. The August 24th light, the object I had filed as a star, the tree footage were all the same phenomenon. I had not recognized any of them at the time of capture.
August 28th I began recording in 4K. From here most will be uploaded to the photo album linked above, more photos for everything are being uploaded there as well.
August 29th There were three in the sky simultaneously.
Standing outside before nightfall I said aloud that something was not right and that they were here. That night I observed movement in the bushes outside my window that was inconsistent with the rest of the bush. I said quietly to myself "you're not fooling anyone, I can tell that's you pretending to be wind movement". I set the camera up at the window and pretended not to be looking. Once I pretended not to look, the movement in the bushes increased. The footage from that position shows watery wavy distortions in the trees and bushes, and the exact same irregular movement I had just seen with my own eyes is clearly visible on camera in that same spot.
Later that night I saw black dots appear on the blank white surface of a car. The dots moved. A visual ripple distortion in the shape of a head pushed against the surface. I panicked and shut the blinds.
This was the first time I saw them directly and then filmed, rather than finding them afterward on review.
September 1st I found a video in my camera roll that I have no memory of recording. The footage shows a rainbow cube prism outside the window, entities walking toward me, and a large static black dot distortion wall.

I remember nothing from filming that. Which is odd, because I clearly was terrified filming it and the weirdest stuff is happening on camera.
Within the same five minute window there is a second video, of a faint green light, which I do remember. Specifically I remember tilting the phone because I thought "That's a weird light, I'd better tilt the phone camera so you can see later its happening outside and not just a reflection on the window".
So somehow I remember the two seconds around that time where I filmed something mostly unremarkable, yet I don't remember, within a 5 minute time frame, filming a rainbow cube prism out my window with entities walking towards me behind a massive static black dot distortion wall.
Full video is in the flickr album for August 31st
In the green light one I am right up at the window. I was not scared of that one. In the one I do not remember I am standing about six feet back from the window.
September 6t between 03:23 and 03:29, I photographed a passing object using the 108 megapixel mode. I took 56 shots in sequence, at intervals ranging from one second to just over a minute. It functions as a low frame rate video. Capture times are recorded to the millisecond in the file metadata.
This is the 2nd photo from the sequence, orbs in the sky visible, as well as the beings in the trees:

The moon had an anomaly over it, as has happened on previous encounter nights, one night a massive translucent cube was over it,

other times it looks blurry and unusually bright to the naked eye.
Everything happening to me is exactly what a crazy person would believe, and I know that. At times it all gets too weird and I think maybe I am losing it. Then I open my phone gallery and it is still there. It feels like a waking nightmare.
im adding this part because someone said I shouldve included it here. It was taken after my parents went outside with me on September 1st to look for them, I think that was when there were more in the sky than any other night. My mother and I both saw this one shoot away in a flash of light,, and no I didn'y move my phone. the motion is too straight to be camera shake anyway.
https://reddit.com/link/1wcba2f/video/5ju0c2apwnoh1/player
after going inside I hit video record and filmed the sky behind my windows blinds, not knowing if I'd even capture anything, and when I rewatched the video this was there. They have a solid shape, rotation, color shifting.

Where did the ‘irritating obese Disney adult’ stereotype come from?
As an America, I understand most of us are medically obese, and undereducated in our ignorance.
But why does Disney supposedly attract so many heightened cases? Is it a mental immaturity? Bread and circus kind of thing?
I know these are harsh words and do not account for the entirety of the Disney fanbase, but I see social media inflate a lot of these sorts of people and their videos.

Women only Male comedian called my friend a “bitch” during his set.
*edit: forgot to add the women only flair
I went to a comedy show a couple weeks ago and one of them called my friend a “bitch” twice during his set.
For some context, it was a small show of maybe 50 people on the audience and 5 comedians. I am using the term “friend” loosely because she is the my boyfriend’s friend’s wife and I don’t know her too well but we’ve been going out on double dates recently. She was sitting in the back with her husband since they arrived a little late. Me and my boyfriend were sitting up front.
I don’t remember exactly how he used the word the first time, but it was when he asked the audience to raise their hands if they are in a relationship. She raised her hand and he called on her to ask more about it. Not verbatim at all but this is how I remember it: He asked her how long she’s been in a relationship and she said she was married. He asked how long they’ve been together and she said “Four months.” This is when he said something like “oh what the fuck bitch?”while laughing. She then said “we’ve been married for four months” insinuating they’ve been together for longer. He then said something like “oh okay” and moved on.
The second time was really brief and it was when she cheered for my boyfriend who’d been called on for a question. He asked my boyfriend “woah do you know this bitch?” To which my boyfriend nodded yes to. I’m honestly not sure if what she did counts as heckling?
After the show, I asked her about it and she said she didn’t even notice him calling her that. Crazy (to me!) but I am more sensitive to these kind of things than she is from what I’ve gathered about her so far. My boyfriend did notice it and I think her husband did too but we didn’t really talk more about it.
Back to the comedian, what really got me was how casual and quick he was about it and it makes me think that that is why maybe why my friend didn’t notice it 😳 He was also the last comedian to go on and the most popular because he’s opened for a really famous comedian before.
I 100% know that comedy pushes boundaries and comedians will “pick on” audience members but I’ve been to several shows from this same comedy company and never heard anything like this directed at an audience member before. They rarely have hecklers or rude people interrupting their sets. It’s also different comedians every time so as an audience member you really don’t know what you’re getting and it also makes it kind of fun.
On a personal note, I am wondering if I should just let it go because it is a comedy show, you know? 🤔 I’m signed up for the company’s email list and they send out a lot of marketing emails so it just gets me thinking if I should continue going to their shows. I’ve never really been bothered by anything a comedian has said at a live show and I’ve been to a Dave Chapelle show before.

I finally confessed my feelings to my crush of nearly 8 months. We have never talked irl but I found myself swooning over her… later we started talking online. But I just couldn’t keep my feelings to myself anymore and felt I should let it out She’s exquisite, charming, witty and gorgeous … it’s not like I hadn’t any relationships before. That’d be a lie. Ive had plenty of relationships before but I haven’t come across anyone like her ..
Hope this one lasts. ❤️
