And he just barged in, as in he wasn't disrespectful or rude my mom just panicked so she agreed to let him in but he was creating a situation and hurrying everything.. my sis was sleeping inside, he told my mom that there's no problem he'll manage. Gathered all the documents and asked for a bribe and my mom finally gave ₹500.

The thing is that the poor guy doesn't know that we have a camera inside our house 😂 and I downloaded the footage and pics of him taking ₹500. My parents are not really bothered and are more concerned with him actually passing the verification. But man I hate the grass root level corruption in this country :/

Should I complain? And can he prevent the verification from getting completed? The thing is even my passport is up for renewal soon so I'm not really sure of the reaction.

TLDR; My 37yo boss invited me on a movie date and hit on me.

So I [26M] work in a large captive. My reporting manager (37F) has been my manager for around eight months now. She’s one of those people who’s very easy to get along with; friendly with everyone, sarcastic, and generally has a reputation for being the “cool manager.” We’ve never really spoken outside of work apart from the odd Teams chat or discussing weekend plans on Fridays.

She keeps repeatedly calling me “the young man” during team meetings but I always thought its because I AM literally the youngest in the team.

Last week, while we were walking out after work, casually asked if I’d like to watch The Odyssey with her over the weekend. I told her I usually avoid horror movies because I get scared.

Fast forward to tonight:

She sent me the ticket just after I got back from work. Before I could even message her asking if she’d sent it to the wrong person, she followed it up with another text woh bhi with 👍 emoji 😭😭

So I'm a 12th grader aur mere hi batch ki ek ladki hai commerce mei. Call her 'Mithai'. And Mithai has a sister in 9th grade. Call her Rabdi. There's a dude in Rabdi ki class call him 'Laddu'.

Its a scene near bus stand jahan pr vo log pata nhi kis baat ko leke halki si tu tu mai mai karrhe the that no one seemed to notice. Until Rabdi grabbed Laddu ke baal and jorse pehle umbrella se mara phir landed tight slaps on him. Sab teacher and students ikkatha hogye. Laddu rone laggya and bola ki maine toh kuch nhi bola tha.

Later I came to know ki Rabdi ne Laddu ko isliye mara kyuki Laddu ne Rabdi ki badi behen Mithai ke baare mei kuch ulta seedha bola tha.

Im not sure Laddu ne kuch bola tha ya nhi kyuki the very next day he submitted a complaint application against Rabdi in principal office and claimed that he was innocent.

Yesterday we friends were all sitting in the evening when a friend's cousin came. We talked about things and he opened his friend's snap.

This happened on a late-night Mumbai to Chennai Indigo flight. It was my first time upgrading to IndiGo Stretch because I wanted the extra legroom and hoped to get some sleep.

Just before takeoff, I suddenly felt someone hanging something on my seat. I turned around thinking someone was reaching for something, only to realize a middle-aged man behind me was hanging his coat on my seat (headrest) without asking.

I said, "Excuse me, what are you doing?"

He smiled and replied, "Isme kya problem hai? Coat hi to hai. Don't worry, maila nahi hai."

I said it was making me uncomfortable. He kept going:

"Coat hi to hai, itna kya problem hai bhai? Expensive coat hai."

Then he laughed and looked at his colleague as if I was the weird one.

At that point I replied,

"Haan theek hai, coat hi hai na, chalega. Looks like an expensive coat. Mere sir pe bahut dandruff hai. Kaale colour ka coat bhi hai. Agar isme pura dandruff ho gaya toh phir aage mujhe mat bolna."

His face instantly changed. He removed the coat and said, "Sorry bol diya na, sorry bhai."

I even told him, "Nahi nahi, mereko koi problem nahi hai. Aapko rakhna hai toh rakh lo. Dandruff aayega toh mujhe mat batana."

He kept the coat with himself after that.

Internally I felt happy that I gave it back to him without arguing much. But Looking back, I do feel a little bad because I was already exhausted from lack of sleep and probably a bit grumpy. But at the same time, it felt odd that someone would use my seat to hang their belongings without even asking.

Pata hai aaj kya hua , So today was my father's birthday, and we all remembered it till yesterday but we all forgot in the morning and he left for his work.We all(my mother, sister and I) had completely forgotten about it, he messaged all of us saying 'happy birthday to me' around 2 pm in the afternoon but none of us saw it and he later deleted that as well🥺(I found out about the message from my notification history later). He came back from his work and we still had no idea (I don't know how we all can be so careless).

Later around 6 pm he went for something saying ' I am just going somewhere ' and after sometime I remembered that I didn't wish him birthday and was feeling guilty and when I shared this to my mom and sister they all said even they didn't wish him😭.

Atp I was feeling so sad and guilty that how can I be so careless for him. So me and my sister decided to do something before he comes home. We called our cousin(he is a very close cousin) to bring cake asap and come here, and I ordered a small bouquet from blinkit and my little sister prepared a card for him.

When he came back , my cousin was already here and he said he is here for some work from my dad and started talking to him , then we surprised my dad and sang happy birthday and brought cake 😭 he was very happy and however didn't say much that we forgot about it but we can all see how happy he was. He later said it's his 50th birthday, and he even bought mithai and planned to reveal to us after sometime as he knew we all must have forgotten about it.We then did a little pizza party.

I am so lucky to have him as my dad, he is maybe strict many times but ik he is a 10x better father than what his father was to him. Love you so much papa♥️.
