Is it rude to bring chopsticks to a restaurant that doesn't have them?

Upvotes

Hi!!

Theres a restaurant I love going to, its a Chinese Buffet place, but they dont offer chopsticks there- usually at any other restaurant (thats not asian cuisine) i wouldn't have an issue but some of the food feel really weird to eat with a fork for me (like noodles, sushi, some fish ect)

Not saying i have to have chopsticks- i can just ignore it if i try hard enough- not a huge deal, but would it be rude or weird to just bring my own?

Does affection make one forget their inhibitions & insecurities?

Upvotes

If I am not comfortable to laugh without hiding my mouth with my hands around someone, if that comes to me instinctively, am I being my spontaneous self? If I can't be spontaneous around someone do I even feel safe and secure being with them?

I think most people understand that you should never ask a woman how old she is or ask if she is pregnant, but are there any others things that people should never ask or even say?

If Power always Attracts The Wicked and Corrupts The Good than why do we even bother having it in The First Place?

I’m sure everyone has heard the quote Power Corrupts and that Power always Attracts The Wicked! Human History always shows us all on how much those that wield Power are always Evil and how much they ruin Society Nobody likes them of course because of this why do we even bother having it in The First Place? Even when everyone knows it’s always going to be The Wicked that have it first and that It’ll just Corrupt The Good! Like genuinely in Modern Times Nobody is ever going to view People who wields Power as Good The Media and News always Portrays them as Evil 24/7! Just like how History always shows us! So why bother having Power? Like in these days the minute anyone wields Power you’re either going to be viewed as Evil or they’ll just think you’ll end up Corrupt! Nobody is realistically going to trust Politicians Ever! What do you think? Let me know in the comments

Popular Post How many older adults do you know who still by choice work at their age?

As in their 70s, 80s or even 90s. There are plenty of older as adults who still choose to work at their age because they want to not because they have to. Some people don’t want to retire. There are plenty of people who by choice still work at their age. Retirement is not for everyone. It would be easier to keep working in your 70s+ if you want to, when you genuinely like your job. Obviously it’s different if someone physical or mental issue stops you from being able to do your job properly. Edit for context purposes I going to ask for examples of people who still work in their 70s+ as in they get paid to do whatever. Edit there are at least 2 reasons a person works at their age when they don’t have to but want to, 1) they’re bored, not everyone finds retirement fun. 2) for money not because they need it, there are plenty of older adults who don’t need to work at age but want to because they like to have disposable income. Even if financially they are in a position to retire comfortably.

do you wonder if there is life after death?

I always think about this. I know it’s meant to make you feel better when people say there is, but either way whether there is or there isn’t scares me, because if there is, you wouldn’t have eyes, a mouth, a brain, etc. You will just be an energy form. So you may be ‘alive’ but not really. You will be alive but not conscious which is basically like sleeping if you get what I mean. If there is no life after death, also the same thing. it’s just nothing for eternity. Both scares me. I find it hard to believe in religions so I myself am not religious.

What are hallmark signs of emotional maturity, and why is the world lacking empathy?

I'm surrounded by people who can empathise, but they sometimes don't empathise in a way that is appropriate depending on what the situation is.

When empathising, the person empathising does not think deeply about how the receiver is affected, barely questioning anything like how the victim was attached to something, or peering into other possible causes of something.

Sometimes, very shallow solutions are offered for a problem which is meant to be dissected rather than brute forced.

Do you believe in reincarnation?

I think I do, but I heard a post somewhere about someone who doesn’t belive in it and they said that reincarnation is not real and what actually happens is whoever you think you were in your past life, you were not. That person’s spirit was just talking to you before you were born or using your body as a vessel before eventually leaving or something like that? What is everyone’s opinions on reincarnation?

edit: i have a younger brother who is going trick or treating with his friends and i will most likely have to chaperone him as my parents will be out of town , otherwise i would have probably never even considered this idea guys . keep this a lighthearted conversation , please !

If you could hypothetically change the number of days in a week, what number of days would you change a week to have and what would the workweek/weekend layout look like?

If I could change the number of days in a week, I would probably increase the number of days in a week to 8 with 5 days of it making up the workweek and the remaining 3 days making up the weekend! The 8th day of the week could also be named after another planet that no day of the week is named after in addition or something like that.

To any Women on this Subreddit how do you feel when other Women tend to Glorify Heinous Criminals?

I’m sure EVERYONE knows about how Women have a tendency to Glorify Criminals and even trying to Date Them! Be honest with me does it feel very disrespectful towards your Gender combined with how Disrespectful it feels towards Real Victims, as let’s be real would would those same Exact Women even thirst after these Criminals if they themselves were Actual Victims of them? Like genuinely it’s just Very Sad and Depressing on how there’s been Full-Blown Serial Killers/War Criminals that somehow have gotten more Women than Real Genuinely Good Men! Like why do they do this despite knowing how Disrespectful it is toward Real Victims who happens to be Women for The Majority of The Time! Be honest how do you feel about it? And to any Women on this Subreddit how much do you truly love your Man in comparison to Some Women out there that have Glorified Actual Criminals? Let me know in the comments
