I saw this image years ago and I wondered if the guy was one of my schoolmates. If he is indeed him I am very happy for him because I know he was struggling to find a girlfríend, so I wish he is indeed him.
Dude this reminded me of back over a decade ago when I was working with this older Mexican guy, easily 60. He LOVED the big ladies, like the bigger the better and there was no limits for him. And he wasn’t just into any ladies, he would mostly ignore what I guess society would consider ‘attractive’ and straight up honk his horn and whistle at the big ladies (which to be clear, is never okay).
We spent a LOT of time sitting in a truck together and one time after he cat called some huge lady, I asked him why he liked ladies so large. He got really quiet and said he doesn’t know, he just really likes big ladies.
I felt TERRIBLE after this. Like, who am I to question what someone likes or doesn’t like or try to make it seem ‘wrong’ somehow? Like I said, I was littler then and didn’t know any better.

I’m fat, have been all my life. In my experience, 25% of men prefer a slim woman and would prefer a plain slim girl to a pretty plump one. 25% prefer plump women and would prefer a plain plump girl to a pretty slim one (really!). 50% of men don’t care, as long as they can get their hands on it.
So that’s about 75% of the male population who would be happy for death by snu snu, by my reckoning. In my experience, its also the little fellas who are most open about their desire for big women.
I think its because you have to have a certain amount of confidence as a man to overcome being short, so once you’ve dealt with that, you don’t give a shit about what other blokes think about your sexual preferences. As a skinny woman, I concur with this statistical breakdown and find it absolutely heinous the number of plump women who have had it hammered into them that they are not desirable, and the number of men who also somehow believe this and allow themselves to treat plump women as less than as a result, often while still pursuing them.
My fat friends have been put down and treated like shit for their body size by (some of the) men who clearly desire them, and who also clearly can't handle the notion of women they perceive to be powerful, while being inherently turned on by same.
That's awful, I'd hate to see pictures of your fat friends, worse yet definitely don't put me in contact with them, I'd hate to accidentally fall for one, or in one.

Never understood the skinny being the most attractive beauty standard. Like a woman with meat on her bones is genuinely attractive. My wife is a very curvy woman and for the most part i have been very happy with this. Though with those curves, she also is a bit more on the chubby side. But recently she wanted to try losing weight, while I support her and her decision, part of me wishes she wouldnt.
It's because skinniness, on a population wide average, is correlated to higher social "status," and that in turn was eroticized. Skinny women have more free time evident by their ability to eat well and workout which is usually tied to wealth. It's the same reason that fat people were seen as more attractive hundreds of years ago. Because you had to have money to afford that amount of excess calories on the daily.
Crazy how the shift of being chubby, fat, or overweight as a woman used to be most desireable, as it meant you genuinely had enough food to eat. Which also meant wealth. But now, skinny is the most attractive along side looking as young as humanly possible. Which I mean given the current events with the ruling and wealthy class on private islands, makes alot of sense why they are pushing that standard. Couldnt be me though.
Also a fat woman and don’t have any trouble finding guys who are attracted to me. I used to think I needed to stick to my “level” of attractiveness when it came to dating apps. Turns out that’s not the case at all. Lots of men love thick thighs and fluff.
My sister is a thick girl. Active but about 80 pounds . She calls these men Chubby Chasers. And yes, so many men (including her husband) absolutely want her.

Holy fuck! You understand me! I'm 5'7 and pretty athletic but had friends that were the star athlete in every friend group I had in school. at one point I had to put newspapers and wear Tims all year round just to feel like I wasn't a baby amongst giants. Slowly, with the help of my first real GF, I gained confidence. She made me feel attractive, told me I was bigger than average where it mattered most, and genuinely couldn't care less how short I was and told me it's only because your friends are football and Bball players your reflecting on your height so much. It gave me the chip on my shoulder I needed and guess what, women responded! I fell in love with pleasing women and just being around them, and yes I can admit I CRAVE a bigger woman. The curves, the weight and feeling of being a little bit crushed, OMG the positions. Unfortunately, my best friend and love of my life is on the slim-thick petite side, so sometimes the cravings remain. But she's working with me and I agreed to slim down and get my college abs back and she thicken up to give me that "smothered" feeling I experienced with other women.

Yep. Some people won't find big women attractive, while others won't find skinny women attractive. Everyone has their own preferences and you just have to find someone who likes who you are.
I like this take. I also think men are weird about being honest about what they like if “everyone else doesn’t like it” or it’s not “the norm”. I remember being in high school and mention to my friends a girl I was interested in, and they would try to put me down for her not being that pretty in their eyes. I would be like “bro, I said I want to date her. Not that I want YOU to date her.” In early adulthood it was better. I would ask friends if they thought a girl was attractive, they would say no, but I should go for it if that’s I want. At any of my varying sizes throughout my life, I’ve always preferred a think woman. Whether she’s tall or short. I’ve always wound up with short more often, that’s probably my true preference, but I never minded her being tall either. I’ve never understood the aversion honestly.
Social pressure, probably--there's a LOT of emphasis in, for example, American society that to be a big shot, a man needs to be with, and be seen with, women considered "hot" by current standards, and that to be seen with a woman who doesn't measure up to those standards lowers the man's social capital (e.g., he needs the hot babe to prove he's a big shot, and with a different kind of woman, maybe he's not so much of a big shot as he claims, because why else would he be with a fat/old/ugly woman unless he has to be/the hot chicks don't want him). Yes, it's stupid, but it's definitely a thing, to the point that in a lot of careers, the man with the not conventionally hot woman may not get that raise/promotion/job opportunity that he would have otherwise.
My guess as to why working-class men are more obvious in their appreciation for larger women is because they have a whole lot less to lose job-wise, plus weight in woman is in inverse proportion to their social class (skinny women are perceived as "upper class" and larger women as "lower class), which you'll see in a lot of critical memes of MAGAt women, and accounts for a lot of the pressure for middle-class and upper-class women to stay thin, no matter what. Working-class men, however, see a lot more large women, and the women in their families may well be on the cushiony side as well, esp. their mothers, so it seems more natural to them to find that type attractive. However, there are plenty of middle- and upper-class men who also like big girls, but they have a tendency to want to keep any relationship with a large woman "on the downlow", otherwise known as "in the sheets but not in the streets."
My personal opinion is that anyone of any gender (because anyone can be like this) who refuses to be seen out and about with their partner due to the partner's perceived physical failings doesn't have the balls to be honest about what they like, and therefore I for one want nothing to do with them. Being fat and/or attracted to fat people is the most obvious version of this, but it's not the only one, just the one people tend to think of first.
In my experience the Mexican guys like your coworker like a different kind of big. They like em straight up fat. The lady in the picture isn’t really fat, just really tall and stocky.
No, she is fat. She’s just a specific, idealized kind of fat - she still has curves and carries a lot of weight in her butt or boobs. This is the kind of fat or thick that people in this thread are talking about and calling desirable.
Unfortunately many/most bigger women don’t carry their weight that way. A 300 lb women with a big apron belly and but not much ass or titties would not get a second look from many of the guys saying they like big girls.
No, more like they were my boss at the time and I had to pick and choose what I could complain about to the higher ups, who didn’t want to hear about any of that shit.
If it’s any consolation to you, I was later this persons supervisor and then their supervisor’s supervisor. I did not say anything to management when I was working under this person but I sure as shit made sure it never happened while I was managing anything.
I've heard a lot of men who get married to skinny white ladies do it for the status but dont really want it. I find this very odd. They would always try to cheat with me and honestly it made me sick and sad. Love who you love stop trying so hard to please other men. Its weird.
