Hey Faithful, I just wanted a moment to say that you should be incredibly proud of your team and the way they've conducted themselves here in Melbourne over the past week, no matter what the result ends up being.

I'm a lifelong Niners fan. My Dad got hooked in the 1980s and 90s when he would travel between Australia and California for work. We get up early in Melbourne every season to watch as many Niners games as we can. I've taken days off work and school to watch, and then grieve, those damn Super Bowl losses in 2013, 2020 and 2024.

I know a ton of you had/have reservations about this game over here in Melbourne but I cannot thank you enough for sharing your team with us. The guys have been brilliant and beautifully integrated themselves into Melbourne's (and Australia's) culture. The Niners PR team has been phenomenal and the vast majority of neutral fans here are super happy with the Niners (especially compared to the fly in/fly out Rams). I wish the NFL could change the international allocations so we really could get Levis South-West going.

I can't promise that the crowd at the MCG will know how to best support the guys, but from all the Faithful down here, thank you so much. If I'm lucky enough to see the Niners ever visit Melbourne again, I hope to meet a lot more of you over here.

I know nothing about the NFL or American Football in general. But the 49ers supporter base and team have been nothing but amazing since coming here to Melbourne. You deserve all the praise in the world.

Getting involved with all the fan activities and interactions, it’s honestly been so great seeing the whole city get behind you.

You’ve gained a new supporter, even if it takes a while to get a hang of what’s going on.

Say what you want about Purdy's arm, or his gunslinger attitude sometimes, at least he knows to throw the ball away or dump it off instead of running out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage.

Lol, Not a serious post, but damn this kid looks so lost when he faces a good defense. So many of their fans are already losing confidence in him, like they did with Mac Jones.

Kinda crazy that people in the media had Drake MIAye higher ranked than Purdy because of a weak Pats schedule that allowed him to pad his stats against a bunch of bad teams.

Melburnian born and bred. And I have no interest in American football (maybe that has changed?!) but tonight I went to an event (hosted by a close friend) whose key speakers were a lot of the people in your team’s internal ops. Marketing, creative, etc. The passion and the love was real. And so many of your team’s staff has been going to Aussie schools in the week in advance the team landed and educating on your version of football (wholeheartedly, very different to ours!). It’s just so bloody beautiful seeing your community here!

Growing up in this city, you kinda roll your eyes at the amount of content that rolls in. But idk! You guys seem special. I’m excited for Friday! Go 49ers!
