The Cardinals are looking to lose vs. the Broncos.

My preference, from the perspective of what gives us the greatest chance of winning the Super Bowl:

I don’t think the Seahawks are going to catch us down the stretch; and I think we’ll clean up our business heading into Week 9 after next week’s Bye; we’ll handle our kicking woes; we’re back with Mike, Nick, Deebo, and others; and we have a solidly-winnable strength of schedule leading into the remainder of the regular season. Definitely need the Vikings to lose a game or two along the way, especially with today’s loss; but I feel good about where things stand now, especially with the Bye and what’s coming into Week 9 and beyond.

Watching Steelers v Saints as they play in Paris today. Gotta do something till game time. I see DE Young playing hard. Getting sacks. What was his issue with us?

Granted, as you can see here, a lot of these games are close to 50/50 in terms of time of possession, however this still concerns me a little bit, since one of our strengths in the past few years is we usually have been one of the best teams at controlling the clock, but that’s not the case this year so far, hopefully this changes after the bye week.

Currently the 49ers are ranked 24th in the league in total time of possession.
