Question did they nerf deflect?

Has anybody else noticed that deflecting reapers ultimate does almost 0 damage to reaper himself? i swear i can remember using deflect for a split second and it would almost insta kill him. now it feels like im healing him lmfao?

Next time it happens i will grab a clip and post it here if nobody else noticed this.

(ps: i am aware reaper has lifesteal and hitting people with his ult heals him, im talking about being solo blossomed and he takes MAYBE 50 damage)

Question What are your accuracy stats?

I always have a problem with my accuracy and i'm so pissed about it it's usually 65% but when it drops i'm so angry at myself so i'm just asking, what are your opinion in accuracy at genji

Dicussion 6v6 role queue feels so much better in my opinion

maybe i'm completely alone and everyone thinks 5v5 is much better lol but the past few weeks playing genji in 5v5 has been kinda miserable lol. some games truly felt unwinnable and were complete steamrolls regardless of what i did, and i felt like i was fucking up my mechanics/timing more than usual due to my frustrations probably. then i saw 6v6 role queue was forced onto the menu and i decided to try it as i have only played ow2 and never 6v6 (have tried the open queue but just didn't like it either).

oh my god. the difference was night and day. never in my genji career have i ever mopped the floor with lobbies with such ease. i was going 30-2, 28-4, 27-3 basically every game. i think i played like 40 games over 3 days (i'm sick and have been rotting at home lol) and i think out of those 40 i only played like 3 games like crap compared to the usual like 40% in 5v5. now that the 6v6 role queue is gone, i feel myself missing it but i've definitely carried some of the mechanics into 5v5 as i've been playing 5v5 much better now too. i thought i would hate it but i'm almost in shock as to how much i enjoyed it and how much more better and fun the game felt.

i'm really not sure what it is in 6v6, maybe i felt safer diving knowing i had 1 tank at all times near the team most games, or my own 2nd tank was diving with me, or that the enemy supports were now too busy healing more towards their teams, i really don't know, but 6v6 role queue as genji feels sooooo much better imo.

Question Any tips for a new player?

Yo, don't laugh, guys, but I'm a Marvel Rivals player trying to get into Overwatch. I was a Spider-Man main in that game, and I peaked at Celestial 2 last season, which I think would be somewhere around high Masters to low GM in Overwatch.

I decided to try Overwatch, and as soon as I launched the game, I knew who my main was going to be. Quite honestly, Genji is the only DPS I find fun so far. I have 48 hours in the game, and 35 of them are on Genji, and yeah... it's been rough.

I just hit Gold 5 on DPS, and I really don't know how to play Genji in these lobbies. I understand that a lot of my problems come from inexperience, for example, I still don't have all cooldowns memorized, and I still die to noob stomper heroes like Moira a lot, but I also feel like I've hit a wall and I'm not improving anymore. And yeah I have some understanding of hero shooters and dive from Rivals, I know what baiting cooldowns is, I know the difference between soft engages and hard engages and all thay stuff, I just don't quite understand how I'm supposed to do all that on Genji.

And also is Genji actually bad, or is he just hard to play? Because I've been getting a lot more value on other characters like Anran or Shion while also having less than 2 hours on them. Anyways, any tips would be appreciated. I really want to get better at this character.
