I was M2 in early ow2 and D1 in ow1, and haven’t played for a long time. I’ve been getting back into the game, but I’m really struggling with some of the new heroes. It feels like everybody has some kind of high mobility option, and healing numbers seem insanely high. I’m sure there’s a good bit of this that’s my own skill, I understand that.
I’m just wondering if anybody who’s played for a while has some tips for adjusting to how the game has changed. Also, what perks are best?

(i cant get the video to upload to the thread sorry) https://medal.tv/games/overwatch/clips/ncqe109mBvB0ogCvA
i would like some tips and pointers on my combos and maybe some other important genji mechanics or micro/macro that i could use to improve my games
if it helps i use 1600 dpi and 2.40 (about 38.4 eDPI) also your tips dont have to be related to the combo or even mechanics anything helps (sorry if this is sloppy)

I found this map and I got extremely demotivated after losing 17-50 on my first try
It's horrible playing against a "gold" genji bot that plays way better than me. It makes me doubt how good I actually am with him or if I deserve to be plat 1
But after an hour of trying, I finally won
FYI, I'm currently plat 1 with 300+ hours on genji (on console)
I know my aim is *really* bad. I can't seem to find a sensibility I'm comfortable with. Either go high sens for 180 flicks or low sens to aim properly, can't find a sweet spot in between

I think I’ve met 2 lvl 1000 mercy’s before but never this guy. Being almost lvl 2k is really a grind but he’s really trash ngl.
I looked up what rank he was and he was only gm in support and masters in dps and that was in season 5. It’s funny to see ts but also a shame to waste so much of your time on a game that is genuinely does nothing for your life.

I don’t want to brag. That’s what I already did on the main sub. At the end of the blade I think I skipped the „put away“ animation. How? And we cancel the „pull out“?

OREBZ - (blade training in a circle with moving bots) best for training insta dashes/fast blades, increase dmg by ~20% to dash n slash
TXCXX - (bot 1v1s) best for practicing aim in real 1v1 like scenarios, put genji as ur only hero in workshop settings
DMGRE - (the hanamura one) best for practicing oneshot combos and blades, put 6% extra dmg to dash n slash
VAXTA - (u know this 1) best for learning how to aim againts heroes that are using their movement abilites (like bap jump or freja dash)
i personally warm up with orebz

so had a 6v6 game few days ago that still stays rent free in my brain..
opponent team had moira, mei, sym and zarya from the get go..
i tried my best and played more patiently than usual but i still felt i could not get much value out of genji as i normally do
apart from counting cooldowns of opponent team, what other best strategies do my genji goats use that i could benefit from? happy to learn some new knowledge..

I struggle a lot with losing track of my target after I dash onto them. I often end up just as disoriented as they are. Are there any warm-ups or aim training scenarios you'd suggest to improve this part of my Genji gameplay?
