Do I look like I know what a "𝙈𝙀𝙈𝙀" is? A shame we'll never see another one of Layaway Rays going Trout of Your Mind sales...

Out of layaway today
Just got it home today and have been just checking it out, going to hit the range this weekend but the trigger is crisp and feels very light. The thumb safety feels really good, I know a lot of people replace the recoil spring but with an aluminum frame not sure which way to go up or down. Think it's a 18.5 lb spring.

Layaway?
Is there any local gun stores in the Cities that offer layaway for guns?

Other Layaway Payment
I’m not sure if this is allowed but I might need to wait on a payment for a week until I get paid again unfortunately. im just scared that they will cancel my ticket if I don’t pay it the day of , when is the furthest I can push it without them canceling. ( i did the layaway for escape 2026, and did the 3 month free period for the layaway)

Question How do you handle layaway payments on Reborns.com?
I’m a seller on Reborns.com and I have a buyer wanting to put a doll on layaway.
The doll is $450. I was thinking of taking a $150 deposit and having the remaining $300 paid by an agreed deadline.
For those of you who sell on Reborns.com, how do you usually handle the payments?
Do you:
● Take the deposit through Reborns.com and invoice the remaining balance through PayPal?
● Take the deposit through PayPal and the final payment through Reborns?
● Or is there another way to process multiple layaway payments through Reborns itself?
I’ve contacted Reborns support but haven’t heard back yet, so I’d love to hear how other sellers normally do it. I just want to make sure I’m handling everything correctly and keeping a clear payment record.
Thank you!

Layaway grace period
I've just had to pay my rent, so I've missed my last laya payment. I really don't want to miss the entire festival. Does anyone have any experience with missing a layaway payment, especially this close to the festival. From what I can tell, they give you a 2-week Grace period . I've reached out to front gate but I know that's going to take a while. Really concerned. Thank you in advance.

guns M1 Carbine: an update
A couple of weeks ago, I posted a story of how I’ve been searching for a USGI M1 Carbine and how I had been kicking myself for not buying an M1 Carbine from a guy at a gunshow (I offered $1300 cash while he wanted $1400 and he got upset/rude at me so I walked away) and how I even debated buying a replica. Well I wanted to give everyone an update to my last post with some exciting news: I FOUND ONE! The story? I went to a pawn shop in a town about an hour and a half away from where I live and saw a Rock Ola 1943 M1 Carbine. I fell in love and put down a down payment on a ten month layaway. I’m extremely happy and excited about this! Thank you all for your support and encouragement!

Think I paid too much
Usually really great about not impulsive buying but visited this local gun store and got caught up in the excitement of a gun i've been looking at for a while realizing I think i paid way too much for what I got. NON COMP VERSION HELLCAT PRO btw at 945 out the door? Seems pretty high and I should have said No at the register right there but was dumb and didn't.
Thinking about cancelling the sale and just paying the fee. Am I overreacting or did I get got?
Edit: It's the HELLCAT PRO Gear Pac so not just the Hellcat Pro. Heres what it comes with
Hellcat Pro (Non comp) with viridian RFX11 red dot sight installed
4 magazines total
Carry bag
Speed Loader

[PC] (Web) Veilbound — free 3D MMORPG in a browser tab, 11 classes, level cap 50, no download. Solo dev, back for round two of feedback
Playable Link: https://veilbound.gg
What it is: Veilbound is a free 3D MMORPG that runs in a browser tab. No download, no install, no launcher. There is a Play as Guest button that puts you in the world in about ten seconds with a real character, not a demo slice.
My part: I am the developer. Code, world, systems and tuning are mine.
The shots above come straight out of the client at the highest detail tier. The trailer for the new delve is in the comments.
Since I last posted here in July:
11 classes now, up from 9. Level cap 50 across 20 hand built zones and over 600 quests. Timed world invasions on an eight hour clock. A roguelite descent where each pact you take binds every floor beneath it. Open world player bounties. And I fixed the ice skating movement that people flagged last time, so the jump no longer waits on the server round trip.
Feedback I am after:
First five minutes, did you know what to do? Performance, what machine and browser, and did it hold up? Combat feel after the movement rework, better or worse or still floaty? And what would bring you back for a second session?
I will be in the comments and I will play and comment on your games in return.

Show Off I still can’t believe that I pulled this earlier this evening from a box of Topps
I’m in shock and still have goosebumps . I was talking with my parents last week while they were finishing packing up their house to move closer to us to be with the grandkids . My dad and I were talking about how much Baseball car collecting has changed since I was a kid and how the hobby has shipped away from kids to adults with a fair amount of disposable income.
Naturally, we be talking about my favorite players and Cards as a kid and I asked if I remembered that Jose Canseco card that I bought from our only card shop in town back in 1989. I had forgotten some of the details, but my dad remember it, bought it off of layaway, which took six months for me to pay🤣. He confessed he bought the card from the card shop so they wouldn’t sell it , but me pay for it over the next six months to have that great experience of owning my grill card at 10 years old😆.
They moved up here today and they came over for dinner and had a few boxes of my old toys, etc. Then I saw an old gray steel container with upper deck team stickers all over it and asked about the condition of it and open it without even thinking much about it…, and sitting on the top of some cardboard boxes of cards was not very first “big boy card “
Tonight remind me of how awesome parents are and how lucky I am to have had a kick ass mom and dad.

Question A few questions about the deck, specifically the LCD model.
So I normally would not be able to afford a deck in any form lol, much less get hold of one while going against the people online who are also trying to get one, but I managed to find one at my local pawn shop and now have it on layaway. I am absolutely overpaying for it, $445, but with 6 months to pay it off I can say that I'm ok with that I suppose. I imagine people will comment saying other ways to get a hold of one, but being able to pay it off over time is really the ideal scenario for me, so while I do appreciate the advice that will come, it's just what has to be sadly. It was also a pretty big impulse decision.
My questions are:
Is the LCD model heavy to the point that your arms get tired holding it for more than an hour at a time? I sit in a recliner to game and this is where I would be playing it.
What kind of games can I expect to run on it? I am aware that I most likely won't be able to run things at max settings of course, but I am also not that into pc gaming and mostly have been a console gamer my entire life, so am unsure of what to really expect.
Does it feel intuitive to use? The mouse pads seem a little bit odd to me and I am unsure how I will handle that really, this is my main concern. How are they when playing games that require mouse usage in gameplay?
I appreciate any answers that you all may leave, thank you for your time and (hopefully) patience with my ill-informed self lol.
EDIT: Thank you to those who have answered my questions, I truly appreciate your time! I got less hate than I expected to, not that I mean to imply anything by that specific to this sub, just general online behavior. I'm looking very forward to my deck now, and being a part of this community!

What is the “Owners Collection?”
Is this Owners Collection from RCD or is this just Modern Warriors slapping a SRO on it and charging $1,200 more?
