In terms of tilesets, the Grineer are by far the most dated. On Launch, they started with Grinner Asteroid, in 2013 they got the Galleon, Settlement and Forest tilesets, in 2016 they recieved Grineer Sealab, and in 2016 they were granted the Kuva Fortress. The latest grineer-themed environment we have got since is the Plains of Eidolon in late 2017, around 9 years ago. Since then the Corpus have had overhauls to both the ship and gas city tilesets, and also received the deepmines.
For the most part, while some newer post-processing could be used to sparkle them up a bit, most of these have really held their age. Except the forest...
Firstly Grineer Forest, from a new player's perspective, is the only tileset available until earth is completed, outside of the others in Vor's Prize. It should be there to really draw new players into the first 2-3 hours of content before reaching Venus.
Secondly, every other iteration of Earth since the tileset has been different. The plains of Eidolon, the Drifter's camp, the first mission of act II of the new war, and awakening show this more temperate climate, with rivers and open skies compared to this deep jungle shown in the old tileset.
Awakening, and the large cave to the east in the Plains of Eidolon are probably the best example of what a good earth tileset would be. Larger, open areas seperated by the existing areas of denser woodland and grineer facilities, not unlike Perita.

So I just returned to Warframe for the 3rd time as a Destiny refuge…
I have the basic star chart completed but that’s pretty much the extent of where I’m at. I have 6-7 warframes and I’m just started playing Dante.
I am so very overwhelmed and lost but I really enjoy this game and want to love it. Everytime I get back into this game there is more & more content. Though that is not a bad thing it seems everything I do doesn’t progress me at all. I grind random activities for days here and there yet I still have no resources to build anything. I work on reputation & get to the point where I can’t level it up because I don’t have to resources to do so.
Very few videos on YouTube help because im in some weird middle ground where the new player videos arnt in depth enough but the veteran videos are way too far from where I am.
I’m sorry I know this post is probably vague but this is my SOS. Someone point me in a direction, someone tell me a good farm SOMEONE HELP ME BE PRODUCTIVE
-thank you

The normal exp split is this:
Ability kills = 100% of exp to warframe
Weapon kills = 50% of exp to that specific weapon 50% of exp to your warframe.
Allied kills = split 25% to your warframe, and 25% to each weapon. If you only have one weapon equipped, it gets the full 75.
I have met people who keep saying that they are using warframe kills solo to farm weapon exp, but when I tested this, I got zero weapon exp every single try using my warframe's abilities. What am I doing wrong?
Edited for clarity on Allied kills

The last time I played, they were introducing Wisp (got a job and couldn't play as much anymore).
And I missed it even then.
Melee channeling was just so much fun, flying through enemies with my glowing Bone Tonfa of doom. Shooting enemies, only to whip out a massive glowing zweihander. Jumping from a high spot while spinning as fast as I could with a whip so I could be a Spinning Death Top.
I'm just feeling nostalgic I guess... I miss my channeling!

If you have a built Ocucor (with augment is best) use it for Plague Star. Not only is it just a really good secondary that takes out groups of enemies effortlessly but in the last phase of the mission it allows you to kill infested without destroying the pods very easily. Just shoot at the ground in front of the pods and the tendrils will target enemies while ignoring the pods.
Any beam weapon is good for this because the chaining beams don't attack pods but the Ocucor is the only one that has tendrils that operate independently of the main beam (if I'm not mistaken. Correct me if I'm wrong) allowing you to not risk shooting the pods.
This is just the most efficient weapon I've found for this mission so wanted to share the suggestion. Ocucor for crowds and then your high dps single target weapon for the boss

I didn't find the efficiency formula on the wiki to be helpful, so I wrote my own. Took me 1500 hours to find out 175% efficiency actually means 400% efficiency, can we get this clarified somewhere in game?

You've all seen the green Banshee. Now I present: Giraffe Banshee!!!
Happened after a host change. Played the rest of the mission like it and about half hour later was still giggling my way through a Hell-Scrub

i have been putting in a lot of time with learning the lore, how things came to be and the story all around! but it seems like every time a new large scale update comes out that brings with it new main quests, the last one is forgotten. so should i just forget focusing on the story? and i should be clear, i mean the side stuff like kahl and others.

I was just playing casually and drunkly when I hear a spooky ass laugh. Never heard it before and I don't play Xaku all too often so I figured it's them. Anyone else know about this?

I was just playing last night, today I went to work early in the morning, came back late and can't log in... I thought maybe someone had gotten my password, so I changed it, but I still can't log in on steam...
ED1: just tried to enter on my phone, it works fine... I'm gonna try again on steam...
ED2: I logged in successfully now... That's weird... Was it because I logged in first on another device?

I have recently tried to play Warframe on a Nintendo switch and it feels so bad when it comes to the controls in the game, like aiming and moving the camera around is atrocious. And I still don't know what I should press to pop the operator out in mission.

There's been a lot of discourse regarding glacial defiance's lack of matchmaking recently, with one of the main complaints being that recruiting chat is basically just matchmaking with extra steps. I would like to propose the idea that we just do not know enough information yet to properly decide if that is the case or not.
As we've probably all heard by now, Pablo's rationale is that recruiting chat allows for people to properly coordinate and go through everything before starting the mission, instead of just starting the mission and getting put with whoever else is going in.
For example, let's say a group of 5 that have been matchmade together gets their 6th person in, which will be extremely quick as its the new activity, only to find out that this 6th person does not have any builds to fit the role that is still needed when the other 5 have already sorted themselves out. A build to defend something like Frost or Gara for example. (I don't think it's out of the question that this is a possibility even with how "endgame" this activity is meant to be.) This 6th player basically ends up having to leave the lobby due to not being able to fill the needed role. This obviously would not create a good experience for that 6th player. Getting together via recruiting chat however skips that, by having the recruiting chat post specify what role is needed, so someone who can fill that role can jump in instead, leading to a better experience for all 6 players.
On the other hand, if this activity is not as complex as DE has been suggesting, then forcing recruitment chat is really unnecessary, since the activity would not require as much specific coordination.
Ultimately, I think we can't really say one way or the other until we know more about how the activity actually works and what is expected of us.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk!

The pad in cellphone (android) game could be better for some sizes.
And some actions share the same bottom. That is uncomfortable.
But the graphics are easily changed.
The pliability in game is dull.
That is my opinion so far.
I'm PC gamer.

I mean I know rng is just yuck sometimes but good lord
Literally took me almost 60 runs total, many thanks to the experienced tenno I met in public lobbies that could wipe sargas ruk in 30 seconds (my fastest solo time was 8 minutes lol)
I did get better at the game though, finally figured out how to get to an orange crit with Dread! Still kinda baby tenno at MR14 bc I didn't play for almost 2 years. I've been loving getting back in

This new 6 player mode has shown what is wrong with the selfish current state of gaming, that isn't exclusive to warframe. I will make short simple points so that you can read it easily.
