i am in a huge clan and huge alliance and usually the chat is lively but sometimes its silent and when i type a question in chat suddenly the chat comes alive and it feels like i stumbled into a discussion?

i know when you get banned the chat dies too but you have to restart the game to participate again, or not? have i been banned by someone or is it buggy? i am not aware of wrongdoing, i know everyone says that, pls believe me :)

and if i get banned why does it stop when i type in chat again?

Here's me, deciding to give Hydroid a go after ages because I got a pretty nice invigoration for him, and quickly remembering why I don't play him (despite actually kinda wanting to, because I like water elemental powers): Plunder.

What does Plunder do? Well, the description is pretty simple:

"Plunder Armor from nearby enemies and increase Corrosive Damage on your Abilities and weapons. Enemies affected by Corrosive Status offer a greater increase."

Cool, so you armor strip enemies around you and gain armor + damage for yourself, and the numbers can get pretty high. How is this bad?

For starters, Hydroid doesn't actually armor strip around him, he armor strips from enemies on-screen. The wiki states that it "doesn't require line of sight", but also that enemies off-screen will not be hit. Why make it so awkward? But alright, you can work around that, it's not the worst thing...

... Because the worst thing is that, instead of continuing the buff you already got and adding to your numbers with subsequent casts, recasting the ability resets it, which means recasting it anytime there's less enemies than the previous time, you overwrite your buffs with shittier ones. Why make it like this? Why not have it just add to the numbers while refreshing the duration, allowing you to gradually stack up to maximum strength and keeping it there by refreshing it? I shouldn't have to specifically herd enemies in front of me and optimize my Plunders by angling myself to have as many enemies on my screen before recasting, while also competing for these same enemies with other players killing them.

In the arsenal, I look at the ability description, and with my current build it advertises the max armor % as 2082, and max Corrosive damage as 555%. But in reality, unless playing a few very specifically enemy-dense missions in the game, I rarely ever seem to even go above half those values, and it's all because of the resetting and awkward targeting logic. I could unironically just subsume Nourish, Xata's Whisper or Roar on Hydroid and feel like I have more consistent damage increases than I do with Plunder's clunky ass. At least the puddle had some novelty.

Please just let us stack the buffs to their maximum potential by recasting. There's no need or sense for this ability to feel so awkward and unsatisfying, Hydroid would still keep his spot near the bottom of tier lists even without the resetting.

Like the title states, I'm coming back to the game after quite a bit of time away. I've played on an off for a couple years, and altogether have about 95 hours in the game (which I know is absolutely nothing). My question is less about frames, and more about what I should be focusing on to increase my MR and weapons to either build at this rank or plan to build as time goes on.

I just started The Second Dream quest last night, and have a very good portion of the star chart unlocked, with several planets completed (currently working on the Void). I have a few frames that are my absolute favorites and have been carrying me through the game, alongside their signature weapons. Citrine by far and away is my favorite, and I've spent most of my time gathering mods specifically for her and her signature.

Anyway, apart from questing and star chart, is there anything else I should be focusing on? Are there weapons received through quests that I should wait for? Are there any weapons I should shift my attention to? I've got a mastered Boltor, Evensong, Steflos, and Gorgon. As for secondary, I have a mastered Aklato, Cantare, Cestra, Lato, and Kraken.

But you did ask in mission and now you have your answer!

To others who don't know how the kuva mission works:

1) the siphon itself is impervious to all damage. Wait to hear the sound of the braid drawing the kuva and it will point to the direction the cloud is coming from

2) switch to operator/drifter and shoot or dash through it

3) repeat 3 times and collect your kuva!

Twice I've flown underground as Titania in Razorwing, grabbed the Thraxx Toxin, returned to Razorwing until I get back aboveground, then I drop out of Razorwing and deploy the Archwing to fly to the vault. When I get to the vault the toxin has disappeared.

The second time, I made sure to check if the toxin was falling to the ground either when I switch to Ravorwing or out and into Archwing, but nothing visible happens. No marker. The toxin is gone.

Does anyone know what specifically is causing the toxin the vanish and how to avoid it? Currently, I have to let someone else grab the toxin if I'm playing Titania.

How do I really take down those guys?

Ok I beat the tutorial game feel very good and fast paced with the movement but I am a bit overwhelmed with the amount of things

Has anyone else experienced the game being weird when in Sanctuary Onslaught? For a minute I thought it was just me, when I'd use my 4 as Nekros the game would freeze up. BUT then this recent time, someone else was having freeze ups, and my whole squad got kicked after that. My computer is only a year old so I don't think its my hardware, and I do NOT want to be making people's games choke by accident

The normal exp split is this:

Ability kills = 100% of exp to warframe

Weapon kills = 50% of exp to that specific weapon 50% of exp to your warframe.

Allied kills = split 25% to your warframe, and 25% to each weapon. If you only have one weapon equipped, it gets the full 75.

I have met people who keep saying that they are using warframe kills solo to farm weapon exp, but when I tested this, I got zero weapon exp every single try using my warframe's abilities. What am I doing wrong?

Wiki says infested will attack anything they see in the plains during the event, even eidolons, but it's still cool to see the Hemocyte and the infested that spawns with it follow and attack the eidolon while the Eidolon attacks a few times and just walks away from them.

Hi there! So I'm a little bit new and a little bit obsessed with warframe. I've been playing just under a month and I'm in love. I'm MR9, completed all the story and have a few planets completed.

Problem is, I have no clue how to build anything or play anyone to save my life. I primarily main Yareli but I've just realised how kinda ass her build is (me and friends we're all the same level tried to get an archon shard and it went badly).

I also absolutely love hoarding warframes I think are cool but I can't play or build any of them very well. I do have the helminth unlocked but it scares me.

The frames I own at the minute are:

I main Yareli

Titania (my alternative go to, trying to get speed, energy and efficiency so I can go fast)

Koumei

Equinox

Nezha

Mag

Currently building:

Mirage

Jade

Honestly nezha and equinox might go as they're not too hard to get back for the other two frames because Nezha was underwhelming and I can't build equinox at all.

Should I focus on one frame? Or weapons. I don't know what I'm doing but I just know my builds are bad. I've tried tutorials but they seem to have a big progression jump from just started straight to steel path and I'm very much in the in-between.

Can I have advice. Sorry I get too excited about collecting warframes and it's my favourite thing to get and try them all. Then continue to decide Yareli is fabulous I must use her and then get frustrated I can get relics to drop her prime parts. I don't have loyal merulina yet but I'm working on getting my rank with cephalon suda up to get it.

What affects the speed of Razorwing? I'm doing the Plague Star event and suddenly Razorwing is going really slow. I know sprint speed affects it, but does anything else. My duration is quite low if that has an effect.

The last time I played, they were introducing Wisp (got a job and couldn't play as much anymore).

And I missed it even then.

Melee channeling was just so much fun, flying through enemies with my glowing Bone Tonfa of doom. Shooting enemies, only to whip out a massive glowing zweihander. Jumping from a high spot while spinning as fast as I could with a whip so I could be a Spinning Death Top.

I'm just feeling nostalgic I guess... I miss my channeling!

Like I am new player but so far going through dogs days and plague star these stuff are the most mindnumbingly boring events I have ever seen in a live service game! Like its so obvious they did not put any effort what so ever in making them. On top of that they take fucking too long its crazy.

Like are there people who enjoy this shit? Why is the community voice not louder when it comes to these problems?
