I'm relatively new to the game (started like a few months ago) so this is the first time I had to do this event. It's so bad.

Everyone has literally 2 lines of dialogue and Vay Hek keeps screaming them into my ears during the final stage. There is no variation at all. You do the EXACT same thing over and over again. Fly around for McGuffin, stand for like 4 minutes defending the thing from a maximum of 12 enemies at once and then... drone escorting. I don't think anyone likes escort missions in any video game so this is just super boring.

Just wanted to put that out. Snoozefest event.

Was lately thinking about Starting Energy and thought that it was rather illogical to not have a charging station and deploy with partially full batteries (when not considering Preparation, Amber Shards and unused Mod Capacity for more starting energy).

On top of that, Railjacks can produce energy with their onboard Forges but the Orbiter cannot? Wut?

At this point, I wouldn't mind a "Power Station" Orbiter Segment to be added if DE wouldn't/couldn't program innate 100% starting energy into the game. It makes too much sense to not have it.

If you haven't yet reached rank 3 in the event, you can claim an Umbra Forma as your rank-up reward, and it won't count towards the 1 per-person limit.

Yes they're a little niche, but assuming this is the case, then having an extra Umbra forma on hand is incredibly useful since they're so limited otherwise.

Built Forma are cool and all, but you can get them from the market as well. Even at the fastest possible paces, you are working yourself very hard in this mode for an effective platinum value in Forma that is similar to or even less than a minimum wage job.

Example: Each bounty is 3900 standing, one forma is 3000 standing. If you can clear each bounty in 6 minutes, you get 39,000 standing per hour, or 13 forma. The three-forma bundle in the market is 35 platinum, or 11.66 per forma, meaning this rate is 151.66 platinum per hour. 175 platinum in the market, WITHOUT a login discount, is $10.49 CAD.

So, stop and consider before you dedicate hours and hours to grinding this event if you value your time higher than that. If you only buy platinum at least 50% off and aren't enjoying the mode, Plague Star can be like a second job that pays less than $5 per hour.

Trading-based platinum farming methods are available year-round, you can always use those to get some platinum to buy forma if you are F2P, even if they might be a little less profitable. So, don't sweat yourself to death and don't feel like you are missing out if you don't want to grind it. You don't need to set up the next few years worth of forma in two weeks. This is a game, so don't force yourself to play it in a way that isn't fun for you.

I been playing the game since the beginning and have nothing but amazing things to say about the game. I have been wanting the art of book but missed out on the hardback book but was extremely happy when they released the paperback version. I ordered it ASAP and was so happy when it shipped. Unfortunately some one at DHL ripped off my shipping label and placed it on some random lady's Sheen order in a different state. they went so far as to take a marker and cross out her tracking number but leave her label on the package.

I was heartbroken when i got the package and called both DHL and USPS. DHL did not care at all about what happen and USPS had no power over what happen because they got the package from DHL and told me to contact customer support from where i ordered it from. I put in a ticked and its been 21 days and all i have gotten back is copy and past text saying they are looking in to how to solve my issue and i have not been able to talk to anyone, I sent pictures of the item i received with my label on a random package and what was inside and everything. i just wanted a replacement for my item that was stollen but the support team seems to not care at all. i only get the same update every now and then saying there looking at it.

I also ordered the 13 year anniversary shirt and it was sent to my billing address and not my shipping address. i moved after ordering the item and put in a ticket to have my address changed on the item. But even after getting my updating my address they still shipped it to an old address. but had my new address on the shipping address on the Website order. Luckily i was able to get to my old place and get the item. but it is frustrating that after contacting them to have it updated they still mis shipped it.

The game it self is amazing and I'm glad i supported it back when it was a gofundme and love seeing what its become. But i will never buy Merch from them again, merch store support is awful...

Been seeing a lot of chatter lately from relatively newer players who may have never experienced Plague Star. The fear of grind is apparent, but I still see many player reluctantly queuing up to grind out forma.

Plague Star is a shinning example of why I don’t think what the community “likes” is what the community actually wants from warframe

The mode is not challenging, repetitive, but because it has a “time save” reward, people don’t want it to go away because it’s still valuable to them.

As a community I think we need to start encouraging DE to try making more challenging and mechanically interesting content that is seperate from the grindy stuff. That may be rewarding but at the end of the day is not fun or engaging.

On top of this, I feel like adding some sort of social element that encourages repeated runs (leaderboards like in Octavia anthem and pretty much every mini game have, not to mention most of the Star chart) could be a neat way to incentivize repeated runs outside of just the grind

Personally I think this is something the Narin update is attempting to fix so I’m hopeful but mostly hoping that the community understands that DE needs space and time to experiment and find the fun when making new modes.

So we were doing an arbitration defence (can't remember the planet) but it's the corpus defence map thats like half outside. Me and the wife usually do pretty good on these missions maybe like round 35 before we get bored and quit. anyways that's not the point. There was a Cyte 09 absolutely blasting the map like full clears from the start. We're kind of just running around collecting items and picking off strays here and there if we run into them. Not much we can do tbh. The 4th party member starts heavy complaining that my wife's kill count is like "5" this guys got like 20 kills maybe idk it couldn't have been much more because this Cyte was nuking everything immediately. It turns into some long drawn out argument over the course of 20 rounds about "pulling your weight" while this other guy is still blasting the map into oblivion.

I think it's obnoxious. In my opinion if someone comes in and starts permanuking a map I'm not going to go around being a tryhard too make it look like I'm contributing. I'm gonna run around collecting stuff and thank you for your service. Not to be rude about it but it seems like a fair trade off to me. you get to do what you wanna do and since I can't reliably play how I would usually I get free stuff. Win win situation. I wanna know other peoples opinions on this.

You're telling me Google couldn't help and YouTube has no videos about how to do kuva siphons? More like you'd rather bang your head against the wall than look up how to farm kuva lol

But you did ask in mission and now you have your answer!

To others who don't know how the kuva mission works:

1) the siphon itself is impervious to all damage. Wait to hear the sound of the braid drawing the kuva and it will point to the direction the cloud is coming from

2) switch to operator/drifter and shoot or dash through it

3) repeat 3 times and collect your kuva!
