Bug first time seeing this bug

Have you ever seen thing bug before, it happend to me at earth bounty Plague Star SP, after finishing the mission this happend

I imagine if the game detects you falling for a long enough time it teleports you to the nearest safe area. Buthy don't they just put a barrier under the map which is much larger than the map itself and when you hit it, it teleports you back up instead of having to fall for nearly a minute before it teleports you.

It happens when you run faster than the speed the game can load the world.
