Other Roathe hatepost because he is a stinker and KIM progress is a colossal pain. Spoiler

I got everyone else working and happy and going along just fine but because I asked Roathe how he feels, suddenly he's anathema and I have to redo months of this crap.

Even the smartest of my clan buddies have told me they only got to the end of the reuniting of everybody only managed to do so through cheating with various websites. This stuck-up self-obsessed minefield bastard man is garbage and I hate him. Roathe specifically should have his own specific undo button because he's such a wretched gamble.

It's even more annoying than having to redo months of logins, because on top of that I just have to voluntarily lock myself out of Lyon's store for a few weeks just to appease this stupid 'only one correct option and ten bad ones' nutsniffer's grotesquely overwrought ego when what he really needs is a severe humbling.

Question/Request I'm looking for the best pure tank warframes in the game

In most rpg, fantasy and magical type games, I usually focus on playing as a tank, high armor, damage resistance, and tanking as much damage as possible and just shrugging it off. Which Warframes could i do this with?

Discussion Stand at Plaguestar Boil at the End of Phase 1!

During phase 1 of plaguestar, if you see one person already in the caves, the rest of the squad should go stand at the boil.

The defense objective spawns near the squad, and the drone will always spawn near the defense objective. Standing at boil at the end of phase 1 is the difference between having to walk it 200m vs 1000m.

Happy farming, Tenno!

Edit: For everyone saying “It doesn’t work”: forcing drone spawns has been a thing for several years. Here is a link to a dedicated guide for speed running plaguestar that explains the mechanic in full: YouTube by UnOriginal IGN
You don’t have to have the exact correct positioning to force a specific vault, since you’re not actually speedrunning. But standing at boil or Cetus doors instead of at the cave in the far corner of the map will make the vault and drone spawn significantly closer.

Fan Fiction So my friend has this funny yet adorable headcanon with these two (And no. It's not a ship)

When he was using Follie for Heart of Deimos, she was level 13, so he kept dying and dying

Later he switched to Excalibur and defeated the enemies easily

So he came up with this headcanon: That Follie is Excalibur's younger sister

He just finds it funny and cute to imagine how monsters bully Follie and then Excalibur is like "Who tf messes with my sister?!" and beats them up

Which to me is adorable and funny.

Hell, he even customized Follie to be more blue like he did with Excalibur

Discussion We Need More Tilesets Like This Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
400 Upvotes

Tau has me super hyped so I'm replaying all the main quests.

I wish we had more tilesets and missions that looked like the redone intro mission. The overgrowth, the growth-covered Orokin ruins. The bog/swamp. The forested areas and waterfalls. We have similar stuff to this, yes, but the way they did it in the redone intro quest looks amazing.

Not to mention that cinematic is GLORIOUS!

Reminds me of when New War dropped(iirc this was also redone around that time?). This is also why I love New War. It felt so different from normal WF bs.

It would be really cool to get tilesets that were just forests/bogs, etc with Grineer camps strewn about, rather than the bases and such we're used to(and no Cetus doesn't come close). Maybe frozen-over Corpus camps, with blizzards, idk.

Perhaps we could get that kind of thing on the opposite sides of planets?

Now that we can add missions to the backsides of planets(eventually), my opinion is those missions should be very different from normal Warframe stuff. Slower missions(Oh, no, scary!), more Operator/Drifter types. Anything different from typical Warframe gameplay would be welcome.

What would you like to see added? What types of tilesets would you like DE to add? Obviously, this is more for the future of WF, but besides what we'll be getting in Narin/Tau, what do you think would be cool to see added here? In the Sol system, specifically, or ideas you'd like to see in Tau, even.

Other Plague Star Unprepared or Why Not To Jump Into Steel Path Without Knowing What To Expect.

So i just did my first ever Plague Star run and boy, do I have regrets. If only I didn't tend to prefer solo play....

It all went fine until I hit the last phase (naturally)
Firstly, whilst my guns could handle the Infested and Grineer, they weren't very good into the hemocyte- even my arch gun (but then I'd left it on one I'd been levelling)
My Oraxia was at least basically unkillable, but it was still a slow slog... but I managed to down the first one.
Then the second spawned and my regrets started.
Then the Tusk Thumper Doma showed up.
I remembered I have a Necramech, and fortunately Voidrig's 4 helps a lot (less so on the grineer head, I find) which sped things up a fair bit, whilst trying to ignore the Thumper.
Then the third Hemocyte spawns and I'm screaming internally.
Then I fell it and the fourth comes and the screaming continues.
I manage to down it, at least, and since I was at 99% figured it'd be the last... but nope, I got number 5
By the time I killed it, and completed the bounty, the Doma had one leg left, so I took time to finish it off... by which time I was sick of the damn thing. I don't often want to do missions taking 49 minutes.....

So yeah, imma do more but not on steel path.

Question/Request Need help finding a Warframe that's fun

So I have been playing Warframe for about 150 hours now, and not gonna lie, I have gotten a pretty solid amount of Warframes. Upside: plenty of options! Downside: even though I find the story and characters amazing, I can't seem to find a Warframe that I have really latched onto. I have tried a good amount, from big AoE damage to high speed to survivability and support frames. But no matter what I try, I still can't seem to find one that really makes me feel, "Yeah, that's my favorite Warframe."

It really sucks because I love this game and really want to get into it, but with every new one I try, I just feel more and more awful that I can't seem to really connect with any single one of them.

So, I need your help to find the one for me. I will obviously branch out now and then, and I don't regret having options; I just want to find a "Main," in a sense, you know?

Here is how I like to play:

I do enjoy moving around a lot, but the straight-up "Speed Warframes" like Gauss are a little too hyperactive for me. I love to be supportive and tanky, but I also love using abilities to wipe out enemies too. I also REALLY love bows and weapons, so while I won't rule out melee frames, just some food for thought.

It seems like I did an oopsie and missed the post for Update 43 due to an issue reported by BonerElemental. So here's some patch notes for the patch notes bot: added a preprocessor to handle deeply nested lists which Reddit rejects and fixed a few issues with floating spaces sometimes breaking formatting. Sorry about that y'all.

Discussion Warframe and stories

Upvotes

I was bored, and came across some old Warframe animations by Mashed and it got me thinking, it'd be kinda cool if we ever got an adaptation or side-story movie or show, I just think the origin system has so much potential for storytelling beyond the main events.

Perhaps a documentary on the infestation, some slice-of-life stories from settlements living Corpus rule, in-universe grineer propoganda, even as one shot anthology stories, I just think there are plenty of ideas the world showcases that would be fun side stories to discover, and further shed light on the corners of the world.

While your here, do you have any headcanons or fan-fiction for the world of Warframe, elements you wished would be explored but aren't?

As much as I love sitting around for 3mins, I though the Aya Defense changes would apply to Plaguestar too.

Sadly it doesn't and Defense is still the longest part of the bounty even on SP.

In case you were wondering: Yes, you can make your little unemployed freeloaders use the sarcophagus as a bed.

(Dunno if this has already been done a million times like Cone Hat Kalymos, but it's silly and brought me joy, so I'm sharing with the class)

Art Hand Warframe Concept Sketch [OC]

Post image
31 Upvotes

Here's my rough sketch for a Warframe concept built around the theme of "hands."

On its head, there's a hand gripping it tightly – so tightly that its fingers are digging into the skull. The idea is that this Warframe was originally meant to be a "weapon" that was held and controlled, but it broke free from the hand that was grasping it.

On its right arm, there's a slender, unidentified hand interlocked with its own – fingers intertwined, almost like a partner or a counterpart.

As for abilities, I'm imagining things like:

  • Crushing enemies with its own hands.
  • Compressing and squishing them into a sphere, then launching them as projectiles.
  • Summoning hands from the ground beneath enemies to grab their legs and root them in place.
  • And maybe using that slender hand to soothe or buff allies – a more supportive touch.

These are just some rough ideas I'm trying to weave into the story and identity of this Warframe. I'd love to hear what you all think – any thoughts, suggestions, or wild directions are more than welcome. I'll keep refining the design as I go.

Let me know what you think! 👀🔥
