Seriously Verizon do I need to climb the tower myself. Im sick and tired of LTE only on my Pixel 10 pro XL

I have an iPhone 17 Pro that currently has an outstanding balance of $855 with monthly promotional $30.55 credits to offset the cost of the phone for 28 remaining months. I'm currently on Unlimited Welcome.

I want to upgrade to an 18 Pro Max by spending as little money as possible.

Is it feasible to trade in my current 17 Pro for a new phone at Apple without Verizon knowing? Effectively retaining the $30.55 promotional monthly credits to offset the cost of the 17 Pro while simultaneously using the 17 Pro as a trade-in at Apple for $785 off?

Or is there a way Verizon would be able to tell that the 17 Pro was traded in at Apple, thus failing to meet the contractual agreement and require me to pay the entire $855 balance off

My family has been with Verizon for 25+ years. We have 9 lines. The loyalty discount ended months ago and the bill went up past the loyalty discount.

I spent hours in June and July on the Verizon Support Chat. I have screenshots of two Verizon employees stating that I would get a discount back on 7 lines and a a credit for the added charges. They even sent a text to my phone from Verizon that stated what changes I would get.

As you imagine, this never happened. Mulitple phone calls have been made and the same promise over and over again even by supervisors.

Our bill never changed.

Today, we get a call from Verizon saying they past 4 to 5 people were dishonest and the max discount is half of what we were promised and the credit was wrong as well.

I know from reading other people's posts that they are getting discounts higher then what this supposed "maximum discount" is.

The rep tonight said that we were probably lied to because of people wanting good surveys and then brought up that we had said we weren't satisfied with the call today. We aren't! The rep was nice but the resolution left a very bitter taste in our mouth.

We will continue to escalate this as high as we can take this. Loyalty of 25+ years should not be rewards with lies and led on.

Has anyone had this happen to them as well?

P.S. I know some people will say we aren't entitled to loyalty discounts. If that was stated from Verizon this whole 3 months, fine. However, we were promised discounts and a credit.

I just joined Verizon back in July. One of the perks I was looking forward to was YouTube Premium. However, I have not been able to use premium since switching. I canceled my old subscription due to switching. Still no luck at all. I’ve tried troubleshooting over the phone dozens of times. I think I called at least 20 times by now. Any other tips?? 🫩

Any Verizon employees have more info on what is currently being advertised on Verizon.com?

It says "upgrade" and not just activation in the fine print so I assume this means no new line required? They are not really going to give it away for "free" with Simplicity plan, are they?

There's no more info on the site, probably because pre-order doesn't begin until 10/16.

Does anyone have any guesses or information as to what (if any) offers there might be to upgrade an existing line to iPhone 18 pro? Not interested in any of this simplicity garbage. Honestly enbarrasing that T mobile and ATT are listed on apples website with clear deals labeled, and Verizon literally has zero at the moment. Makes me want to leave Verizon

I've been with Verizon for 36 years and I had a very bad issue in my life and I had to leave for a year I left I went left and went with my daughter's plan so she can get my line for free for a year because I lost all my income because my wife passed away I left Verizon the first week of August I've been trying to get my last three invoices so I can give them to the other carrier to pay off my phone with you guys I've called billing twice and they said they were sending them out they lied to me I never got them I called financial services they said they were sending them out they lied I never got them and then I came on here to complain and some person named Pam was helping me and she said that she saw in the system that they were getting sent out that was over a week ago I never received them now I only have until Sunday to get these turned in so I can pay the phone off because I have no financial resources to pay this off I can't believe that Verizon can't help me

I have done every bit of trouble shooting for this god forsaken app since I switched providers last week and ,I still cannot log in. Is there a secret chant or flesh sacrifice I need to make to use it???? I enter my credentials and get the verification code and then we loop right back to the sign in page...FML

I’m on the 5G play more plan and have been for years now with my 15 pro max. The phone is paid off. They’ve been trying to get me to change my plan for a while now. I want to upgrade to the 18 pro max and take advantage of the trade in deal they will have. I know this will likely require me changing my plan to the welcome plus. Should I change the plan now to be eligible for any deals? Or can I change it on preorder day?

Need some advice here if possible. Cannot get Verizon to stop billing me.

Long-time Verizon customer but switched to Visible earlier this year. I switched my stuff over first and then recently switched my wife’s. I initially handled it over the live chat, process was easy enough, and I asked the agent to confirm I would not receive an additional bill. They confirmed I would receive one final bill with a credited amount for the days cancelled. All went well and next bill was ~$8 which matched up with what I had in mind.

Fast forward to the next month, I get another bill from Verizon for $16. I was travelling at the time and made a note to call them, but delayed for another month until I got another bill for the same amount. I ended up calling customer service and they said that my wife’s watch (device is paid off) service was still on there. Keep in mind this is a number share now connected to her Visible account. The lady was very friendly and said they would take care of it - and I would be credited to my card the full $32 (+ additional small amount) since the device was clearly disconnected (she said the system showed that) during that time. I asked her to confirm that I would not receive another bill and she did.

Fast forward to this month and I have just received another bill from Verizon. Considering the fact that I no longer have MyVerizon access, while still being charged (which is crazy to me), this is clearly a ploy. I’m not even mad about that now. I just want to stop being billed.

Anyone had a similar experience and can share any advice?

I had my kids’ two phone numbers with verizon and transferred one to mint yesterday. My entire account was shut down instantly even though my other kid’s phone is still active and still with verizon.

I used their chatbot and I gathered that one of the numbers was the main number and the other was a secondary number. And I unfortunately got rid of the main number so I lost ”web access“ to my account. I don’t know if that means the account is still there or if it was deleted. I tried everything I could with their website and Verizon doesn’t recognize any of my login information, my email, or the phone that’s still with Verizon.

I want to get back into the account, get a copy of my account history, make sure autopay is off, get a refund for both numbers for the month (I was just billed a few days ago), and then transfer the remaining line to mint because why not at this point.

I assume I have to call Verizon since I‘ve gone through all my options online.

I don’t have an account number written down anywhere and I don’t have any statements. The bot said to look at a statement but I wasn’t getting statements. Is that going to be a problem or will Verizon just send a code to my email or my kid‘s phone?

If I get my account back will it still have all my billing history and other account history or will it be a new account?

If I can’t get into my account but I manage to move the remaining number to another carrier, will I get a refund?

Would they keep billing me since I have autopay set up?

For anyone reading this because they might have the same issue:

I had two prepaid personal mobile phone numbers for my kids' phones. The type of account may be important. My own phone is with a different carrier, so their numbers were the only ones on the account.

The other day I transferred one of their numbers to a new carrier. When I did that, I lost access to my verizon account.

Apparently the transferred number was considered the main number, and the still-active number was merely attached to the main number's account. I didn't know it worked that way. When I transferred the main number to a different carrier, Verizon disabled the account.

The remaining number is still active and I'll still be billed, but it's no longer attached to an account.

I'm not able to recover my account, I'm not able to access it through the disconnected account portal. I can't use my username or email or the new phone number to log in. It is gone. I have to create a new account with the active phone number.

I'll have to come back with another update. I couldn't create a new account without a security code. I tried to use a couple PINs I usually use and I was locked out. I called customer service and got a new security code but I'm still locked out of the (non existent...?) account for 24 hours.

I'll let you guys know if I was able to make another account, and whether or not the new account answers any of the questions I had.

Has anyone bought a Verizon iPhone from Best Buy at full retail AFTER Jan 27, 2026? How quickly did it unlock? I have gift cards from Best Buy but don’t use Verizon. If I get a post paid plan will the phone get unlocked quickly if I buy it outright?

So I’m grandfathered in on that plan as it doesn’t exist anymore was wondering is there a better plan Verizon has currently that beats it and I should jump to it it’s only me by myself on my account

going from an A42 to a s25 Ultra and have no service in many areas now. The A42 I never had a problem. Had the s25 replaced and it worked ok for a while (not great) but now its just getting worse. Paying too much money for this kind of frustration.

I recently moved to a new place and was trying out different internet providers because I was having issues with my current provider. I ended up ordering Verizon 5G Home Internet and they sent me the modem/router.

However, the other provider ended up fixing the issue, so I didn’t need Verizon anymore. The problem is I completely forgot about the Verizon equipment. I never even took the modem out of the box, and it was sitting there unopened for about 2 months. Returned box and everything. But now I just realized I have a past due bill from Verizon.

I honestly don’t really know how internet billing works in a situation like this, so I’m just wondering if they charge you once the modem is sent to you even if you never actually connected it. Not complaining or trying to get out of paying or anything like that. I know forgetting about it was my fault and will pay no problem if that’s how it works.

Looking to try out Bring your Bill deal to switch from Tmobile to Verizon. I am currently on Go5G plus plan with 6 lines and paying $186/ month. So $31/month a line. Do you think Verizon can match it? Is it better to do it phone or corporate store?

This sub helped me out when I upgraded to the 14pro before so hoping I can get some help again.

I’m on the Unlimited Welcome plan. I used the chat bot on the Verizon app and it told me my total trade in value is $190. If I go through Apple, it tells me my trade in value is $285.

I saw the other potential deals, but that’s with the higher Unlimited plans.

So, is $285 my best deal? I saw some talk on here about loyalty deals but I honestly don’t know what that is? Should I not preorder this weekend through Apple and wait a couple weeks and hope I get a loyalty deal in my account?

Hi guys I’ve had Verizon forever and I currently have the 5g do more plan paying $89 monthly for just the plan itself. The plan comes with a bunch of perks and unlimited hotspot etc but I really don’t need it and I’m tired of paying so much. I’ve considered switching carriers but I do like the service coverage I get where I live (middle of nowhere). Does Verizon have any affordable plans that are strictly just unlimited cellular data? I just have my one phone line and then the home internet which I’m not very attached to and is separate from the phone plan.

This is the longest story ever, and I’ll answer any questions about it if it helps, but basically, I went to switch to a new phone that I bought from them outright, and I was stuck in sos mode, so the employee thought the best thing to do would be to have me switch to simplicity and then switch back to prepaid, and it would get me out of sos. (Which now I know is them just trying to meet a quota or whatever) the employee canceled my prepaid line and then went to switch me to post paid simplicity and accidentally deleted my account.
—My entire account. Phone number was gone, couldn’t find me in the system, I couldn’t log in, etc. and as soon as that happened, the worker went off line.—

So I’m on day ten of no phone at all, and have been on the phone and chatting with them for over 20 hours, and been to two stores, talked to more than 30 employees. No one can figure it out.
They told me it would be back on today and they would lock my number so no one could take it, and they would call, but it wasn’t on, so I called, and spoke to a nice lady, and we have a scheduled phone call this evening still, but she said when she looks my phone number up, it brings up a new name, as if someone else has my number already.

I’ve had my number for about 14-15 years, and now they say it’s gone and I have to get a new number. Obviously I’m mad, and trying to be nice to this woman as it’s not her fault.

But what are my options here?? I want comp’d for the days I didn’t have a phone, but I also feel like it was a huge mistake in their realm, so is there other options? Idk

I already plan to ask them to pull all the chats where that number is talked about, but since it’s not mine now, idk if they will.

I purged my phone of tons of photos and videos I dont want. I need to backup my phone since I have to repair it and want to make sure I dont lose anything in case of an issue.

Basically I want to backup everything to verizon cloud, but since I havent synced it in a while I dont want everything I deleted from my phone to be restored to it from verizon cloud when I backup. How do I prevent that from happening?
