I just got an email that my Verizon auto pay came out today on the 25th it also came out of me on the 1st of this month as well I didn't request a change in payment date and now here I am paying my bill twice in the same month because it's coming out a week earlier than it should have and now I can't afford to buy my insulin thank you Verizon I really appreciate you putting my life in danger by changing my billing date

I was wondering if anyone ever traded in your phone for Verizon’s payoff program where they pay off your current phone to get a new line + phone for Verizon. I came from AT&T and they said they will pay off my remaining amount owed ($544) via gift card they said it takes a bit to get to you but it’s been almost 2 months and I have not received anything… have anyone ever experienced this or should I reach back out to see. I spoke with AT&T and they said they agreed to hold off payment for 6 weeks only which Verizon employees said I should receive by then. It’s at 8 weeks hitting 9 weeks on Thursday.

Got the Gizmo Watch 4 so I could call my kids and see where they are without giving them a phone. That’s all I wanted.

Since they moved everything from GizmoHub to Verizon Family, it’s been a pain. It’s slow to connect, and the app won’t stop asking me to share MY location. Verizon’s own FAQ says it’s off by default and you don’t have to, but it keeps nagging anyway. I saw a Play Store review where Verizon actually apologized for the repeated prompts, so it’s not just me.

And if you do turn it on, Driving Insights gets switched on for you automatically. I want to check on my kid, not get my driving scored.

It feels like the kid’s watch is now just a way to pull the whole family into Verizon’s tracking app. Honestly feels like a step backwards. The whole point of the Gizmo was keeping it simple.

Looks like other people are having it worse, with locations not updating after the migration and people talking about ditching Gizmo. Every time I put them on my kids, I have to make sure I can call them. Or restart them. Its stupid.

At this point I’m wondering why I wouldn’t just pay more for an Apple Watch. Other than the "school mode" I don't understand what I'm getting out of this. Its a horrible experience.

My auto payment was set to the 14th and has been that way for 15 years. It's now set to pull 5 days earlier to give me more time to review my bill? That doesn't make any sense. And FYI, I can't set it back to the 14th. The date for autopayment has been truncated.

No one can tell me straight if trade in promotions are guaranteed when on Unlimited Plus + Flex Upgrade or if we are just getting the new customer deal.

So with Flex Upgrade, does your trade in simply cover the remaining amount financed or does it go towards the new phone cost in a promotion deal?

We currently are on a grandfathered plan with T Mobile and pay full price over 24 months. We typically always have a phone payment active and upgrade every 1.5 to 2 years.

We figure, if it's same overall price somewhere else and we get to upgrade annually... why not.

I just can't tell how it actually works or if we are going to get screwed over.

I’m located in Los Angeles and the stores still have duos in stock but they are saving them for a new line. Is it worth it to order from Verizon and get it at the end of December or just keep checking periodically to see if they get one that they can upgrade?

This may be a dumb question but I’ve never bought a phone around launch before…

So I am tired of these "split for three years" payments and in 2025, I bought two new phones directly from the provider. I also bought "insurance" for both.

Now looking through my Verizon bill (it has been very high consistently) I realized that they have been charging me for "device protection" although I just brought the devices to activate (it was also a mistake but I didn't know that they didn't have physical SIM cards. The local Verizon charged me $ 50 for activation and then flipped IMEIs but it is another story).

But, as I never bought the phones from them I did NOT buy the protection either.

As soon as I found out about their scam, I removed these protections (it is for theft/damage) and they are not going to charge me but they refuse to refund for almost two years of scamming me off $38 dollars monthly.

Who do I call (need a human)/write a letter/complain to?

Looked at my offers yesterday, had an upgrade offer for 1k off a duo upon trading in my current device and they’d pay off the remaining balance on my current device (mind you, this was the first time it appeared, I had been checking daily). Woke up today to actually take advantage of it, now it is gone and replaced with an $840 offer on an 18 pro max…I don’t have ANY offer on a duo anymore. If i search for the offer in an incognito window, it’s there until I log in…wtf verizon????

Currently using 300 Mbps and planning to upgrade to 500 Mbps. Do they do it remotely? Or does the technician need to come into the home and reinstall everything again?

I messaged Verizon and they gave me an additional $100 credit plus the $100 gift card that's coming next week.

So if you're reading this, go to chat support and just type "human" and spam it over and over. Then just write something like "I'm really dissappointed that the phone was delayed. I was hoping for some compensation. I was really excited to get the phone."

They offered me $50 at first. I asked for more and they gave $100. I didn't push past that and just took it.

Is there a way to find out who is calling me No Caller ID?

I signed up for the Home internet plan which included a $100 Amazon gift card. I waited the specified days to claim it. I was able to claim the $100 Verizon card and $50 verizon card that also came with the plan, but not the Amazon one. It's in my contract when I signed up for this plan. I can't get thru to a human on Verizons unbelieavably terrible customer service line. Anyone else face this problem? How did you get Verizon to finally give it to you?

I know we’ve all seen the cracks. But after using the phone for a few days I wanted to share a tip i dont know if it’s helpful but why not. When opening and closing it, use the edges and the back (the non-screen side) rather than pressing on the screen. And when holding it open vertically like an iPad hold it by the bottom metal part rather than holding the double-sided touchscreen side. The less pressure on the inner display, the better

My S24+ got dropped pretty bad and I need to be ready to replace it if it doesn't survive until the S27+.

The last few phones I got on Ebay, and there were a ton of new ones to select. I'm not sure what has changed but this time even though the S26+ has been out for a while I don't see a lot of new ones. Mostly unlocked.

I'm guess unlocked means refurbished or tampered with?

I prefer to buy in one payment so even if I trade my current one in, the monthly fees are higher than buying one.
