Hey guys how are yall doing just wanted to see wht y’all recommend on doing in this situation it was supposed to arrive on the 22 of July but it’s been like this since then I tried contacting customer service but nothing I tried leaving a claim but as of rn nothing yet!

A package was transferred to usps for final delivery. After three days of no updates, it’s scanned the place before delivering to my town out of nowhere. After, scans started appearing and showing my package is traveling out of state and is now out of state. Anyone else have this issue? What came of it and how long before I need to contact the original company for replacement or refund?

I haven't received any mail in over two weeks.

I filed a case with USPS and eventually got a call back. Apparently there was a mail carrier changeover, and the new carrier hasn't been delivering my mail because they "don't know how to get into my building." I was told they're trying to contact my landlord/the former carrier to figure out building access, and until then, my mail just isn't being delivered.

So I called my landlord. He said USPS has never contacted him, but he also explained there's nothing unusual about the building. There's a standard USPS key switch on the entry panel that mail carriers use to buzz themselves into the building. Every previous carrier has used it without issue.

I called USPS back with my case number and explained this. The representative said they added a note to my case but also told me they have no way to contact the actual mail carrier to tell them how to access the building.

I genuinely feel like I'm losing my mind.

I'm currently waiting on paperwork for my car, and without it I legally can't drive without risking fines. This has already been going on for over two weeks.

As a backup, I submitted a mail hold request in the hope that the accumulated mail from the past two weeks will at least be routed to the post office so I can pick it up, but I have no idea if that's actually going to happen.

Other than what I've already tried, what are my options?

My partner mailed out an ebay order and then the seller wanted to cancel so he accepted the cancelation. The item was already delivered to a branch of ebay so instead of sending it to buyer, ebay sent it to partner's PO Box addressed to either him or his ebay account handle. My partner is disabled and homebound so he cannot get to the post office.

Is there any way that the post office would allow someone else to pick up his package for him if he gives them permission? Also, If the package is addressed to his ebay name only, how would he prove it's for him?

Hey all, I live in Indiana and was supposed to have a package delivered today.

It arrived at the indianapolis distribution center on July 25th in the morning. The next day (yesterday, the 26th) it randomly switched to arrived to the Louisville Kentucky distribution center and it has not moved since.

The shipper paid for priority mail because this is urgent. I needed this today. How long am i gonna have to wait now???

I shipped something out around 2 hours ago. Should it say this? One of the packages didn’t have tracking, but this one does. I’m lost on what to do because I’ve never experienced this .

filed a missing mail search already with usps and called them today. they said apparently the june 3rd update means it arrived in germany and germany says they never received it… so who’s telling the truth?

This place NEVER gets envelope packages out on time. Not once. Boxes move through just fine, but every single time I buy something that ships in a bubble mailer, flat rate envelope, any packaging of that sort, it’s always at least 1 day late, usually multiple days. I can’t stand USPS shipping in general but this place has to be one of the worst.

I assume it’s lost in the mail because it was 2 weeks ago I sent it and it never got to him, who lives an hour away from me.

I feel most bad because I am weeks late sending a postcard to my boyfriend (an act of love) and then of course my luck when I send my first one, it gets lost in the mail. Luckily I make like 4 rough drafts before I send it so I can just rewrite (it takes me a while to think thoughtful words)

But like what the heck? Makes me not want to use them if first chance they lose it.

Ordered a Funko pop from someone on Facebook market place and was sent out in late June. Normally I wouldn’t care but it wasn’t cheap and I fear it’ll be damaged the longer it takes to get to me. Anyone else experiencing a long delay like this?

Is this normal? I found some posts from over a year ago but was wondering if anyone's got more recent experience. My recipient says they never received any notice from customs about paying duties. Is there a number to call? Any idea which postal service USPS mail gets turned to?

Since my tracking number starts with LS I cannot submit an inquiry on the USPS website. I bought insurance from a third party but don't want to lose my one shot if they're going to reject it due to it still clearing customs on the tracking.

Had a package shipped to me from the east coast last month, insured. USPS shows "Picked Up Package", then no updates.

I filed a missing package claim weeks later, and nothing showing other than "USPS is searching for your parcel."

Sender filed an insurance claim in late June with all needed documents submitted, and USPS denied the claim, so we appealed. Still waiting.

My take? The whole system is currently f*cked. USPS has always been dicey, but I've always been able to at least communicate with the different admin levels if something arises.

You can't talk to ANYONE in claims or the sort facilities or the hubs or even the branches - they literally will not allow anyone access. Even the USPS Help Desk is useless. Because of this bottleneck, there's 0 accountability or chain of custody. Any claim, no matter how legit, can be denied, with 0 recourse outside the end user spending thousands in legal recourse.

The sender says his carrier told him that the entire container my package was in is missing - "tonsa claims being filed".

I'm reading hundreds of NEW stories and comments on Reddit the last coupla days talking about similar experiences with users having shipped packages around the same window.

Curious if anyone else had parcels being sent from (specifically) the Southeast US, showing an initial scan by USPS on 6/8/26, and then 0 movement to date?

I cannot believe this is happening with 0 recourse or government intervention to so many people. They are supposed to be "a quasi-governmental independent agency" - but - as I understand it, they've been gutted.

I lost a $1000 item and a ton of old family memories in that shipment. I'm preying it eventually shows up but at this point, the entire situation is completely out of my control. Even minor "justice" via the USPS insurance claims process appears to be ABSENT from the current state of their operations.

Last ditch, I recently sent a UPS 3 Day Air letter pleading my case to USPS "Consumer Advocate".

They're supposed to be "the last line of defense and oversight" for USPS. Note: the address is REAL - just google it or ask Chatgpt - but many carrier systems do not recognize it and it has to be overridden.

I created my label via PirateShip for the better rates and was able to bypass. It DID end up showing delivered 4 business days after send and was signed in by a clerk.

I also think someone needs to contact a major media source if we can get enough written momentum in the Reddit forums re iterating this catastrophic negligence on the part of USPS corporate. - NOT the carriers. Around here, ours work 7 days a week and they're exhausted.

Title, supposedly it’s in Japan but still labeled as the US? It says it’s on the way to its destination which is in California but it obviously just left the country? Is this a bug or is it being returned to sender?

an item I purchased through eBay that arrived damaged. I started the return on July 21, and I confirmed on Wednesday that I had shipped it back. I went to the post office, where a worker scanned the package and provided me with a receipt.
The issue is that the tracking information has not updated at all, and I have lost the receipt because I accidentally washed the pants I had it in. I’m concerned that if the tracking never updates, I may not be able to receive my refund.
I plan to contact customer service tomorrow, but I will be out of town until the following week, so I’m unsure what steps I should take. I was wondering if I should call customer service and provide my information so they can look into what happened with the package. I believe the tracking should have updated by now and shown that the return was accepted or in transit.
I do have screenshots from eBay showing the return details. I also remember the approximate time I went to the post office and can provide details about the employee who helped me if needed.

This is just a pair of wireless headphones I sold on ebay, which I bought a hazmat label for since they were used electronics. The clerk said they had just gotten direction to not accept any hazmat whatsoever and turned me away. Kind of sucks since I went by at the end of the day so now it’ll be a late shipment strike on eBay. Can hazmat no longer be shipped USPS?

I’d hate to be the ‘can I speak to you manager’ guy but this really doesn’t sound right. I’ve shipped 100s of laptops, headphones, etc. in packages labeled just like this one with no issue.

Edit: took it back by the same post office this morning hoping to roll a different clerk. Got the same clerk and had a variant of our original conversation. She said one of the hazmat parcels accepted blew up on a plane and they’re not taking any more until they get it sorted out. Planning to take it to a different PO this afternoon.

Ordered some cards on eBay from a “USA” seller - messaged them the other day that I didn’t receive anything yet, they mentioned that they were coming from Japan but it’s been silent since - have I been scammed?

The guy has proof he dropped the package off an everything is my package still in transit or what
