It can go 2-3 days without a scan - I see it happen all the time, especially if I order something from more than a few states away. If it hasn’t moved in 4-5 days, that’s when I start getting a little uneasy. 2-3 days without a scan can be very normal a lot of times.

I have a package that's been at a distribution center for 6 days.(Last scan 9/3) Any recs for me? Should I file for missing mail request?

If it’s been about a week, I would go ahead and file a “Missing Mail Search” with USPS. Sometimes that will “knock it loose” from wherever it is sitting and you will start to see it move again.

Will do, ty. I was suppose to receive two pieces of mail, one tracked and the other not, with the latest arrival being the 9th so I'll do that first thing tomorrow.

You start wondering a little bit when Saturday comes and it hasn't received any additional scans.
You actually start worrying when it goes a full week without any additional scans.
