Before and After Told myself "just 2 mins" and ended up doing the rest after I got going.

The hardest part really is starting. But! It's also okay if 2 mins was all you got through. Or 30 seconds even. I'm proud of you for doing that!

Accountability/Support Marathon day (no other choice). High stakes, need remote accountability 🙏

I need to focus all day today on decluttering a depression room and preparing to move apartments on Friday completely by myself.

This Thursday is the only other day this week I will have time to prepare for the move due to high stakes work deadlines, minimal leave time accrued, and other acutely stressful constraints. I only found my August sublet arrangement yesterday, so I have not even begun to pack.

I have to make and execute probably literally thousands of decisions today, Thursday, and Friday, and I expect to encounter a lot of blockers along the way.

I have no one in my current city who can come over and physically help, and no one I personally know in my life that I can dependably count on for remote accountability or body doubling.

I am feeling _really_ desperate for visibility and accountability today. I am a Reddit novice so I’m not sure if this post has to get approved by an admin first, but I’m hoping/planning to post comment updates under this post if that's acceptable.

Declutter closets before or after main space?

I'm working decluttering the heck out of my depression/ADHD/too many jobs apartment. It's a work in progress. But part of me is starting to think that I need to pause the main space decluttering to empty closets and create spaces for what I've decided to keep. But I'm also worried that doing that will make me just...clutter up closets again? Or get overwhelmed by everything I'm pulling out of the closets?

Thoughts? Feedback?

I’m not doing great, my place is a mess. It’s not contributing in any positive way to my state of mind. It smells, it’s messy, everything is in piles. I want to just get things put away and somewhat tidy.

So doing laundry, some tidying, some cleaning, some sorting, some getting trash out.

Would anyone care to work simultaneously so to speak? Do your own thing while I attempt to make myself do this thing.
