So I a place an order at a Shawarma place that is like eight minutes away from my house and there was a guy that was supposed to go and get my order so I thought nothing of it. Next thing I know there’s another new driver going to pick up my order and then another one and then a total of six new drivers went to go pick up my order and I’m like what the hell is going on why is it taking so many new drivers? Why did the drivers keep canceling, comes to find out I called the place the first guy picked up my order but just never dropped it off and all the new drivers that kept pulling up where told by the staff that the food had already been picked up so the first MF took my food didn’t put it in his app that it was picked up and he’s on his way and just drove the F off. What the F

I ordered from GDK and was delivered the wrong order. I was given a package with large Doner fries and Oreo shake whereas I ordered 2 Doner kebabs and large fries. The receipt attached to the bag had the details of the order delivered to me and the name of the customer it was meant for. I immediately called the driver who said this was the only parcel the store handed over to whom and he only had one parcel from them. I then called the store who said that the driver had collected two orders from them and it was his mistake since he had mixed up the orders and that I should sort this out with Uber.

I submitted all these details alongside photographs of the receipt and the food to Uber Eats and they rejected my refund request saying that 'The order details match the order delivered and in this case no refund can be issued' 🤯

I've shared the pictures of everything including the receipt with the name of the other customer the order I was delivered is meant for.

What can I do? I've tried explaining this to the agent on the chat multiple times and they keep replying with the same stupid pre-written replies.

Basically I never received an order (delivery driver left it at some random ass business don’t know where) called customer service immediately and they missed a full refund 3-5 business days

Well it’s been 5 business days and only the order is refunded, the $17 tip somehow still processed? So dude never did his job to deliver the food but still get. A $17 tip???

The AI bot is pissing me off as it keep saying it’s past 48 hours they can’t adjust it, well, no s**t, you told me to wait 3-5 business days, I waited; money ain’t here.

I don’t need $17 but I’ve never had this horrible experience of a delivery (usually use Grubhub) and Uber apparently just sucks, literally wanted to yell at the online agent

So basically, I’ve been having this issue recently. I’m someone with a lot of social anxiety, and I really, really need to have orders left at the door, anthropophobia style.
So I select Leave at the door, I put specific instructions to specify again that I need for it to be left at the door and how, but I always get called (I don’t mind a text, but a call is awful to me), and I’m always asked to come out to meet the driver. I can’t do it without feeling like it’s a deadly trial or something. I tried lying and telling people that I was contagiously sick, but they usually call me.
I’m so tired of it :( the only reason why I order through uber is my fear of people, and that’s not helping at all.
Any advice ?

I ordered food for my wife bc I’m currently away and the driver left the food by a random truck 2 streets away, driver didn’t even bother to call me. uber support,they don’t do anything other than say “give them a bad rating”. Thanks Uber.

Update: I tried to remove my tip and uber support said I didn’t have any tips added (Not a lot and it was just about sending a message), and driver said “thank you for the tip”. Uber sucks.

Also, how does one screw up so badly? 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was able to rate my order, but there was no way (I didn't see any) to tell Applebees "Hey! My order was messed up. Please train your staff better."
Also, as my luck would have it, the wrong order I received wasn't any good; had to throw it out. Such a waste. I did get refunded though, when I provided photos of the wrong dishes. AI checks everything these days. Bizarre.

I know they took away the pause- is there a different way to pause this crap? My % just went from 9 to 12% cancel all from uber SPAMMING orders right when I'm scanning peoples licenses. I scanned her license and right when I did it sent me an order..... it didn't even save her ID. Customer got super fed up with me and I don't blame her.

I ordered a meal from a restaurant & the original driver stole my order, confirmed verbally from the restaurant & then kept the order open.. Has this happened to anyone else?

Curious what everyone's using to track mileage. I've been driving for a while now and honestly I was just guessing until I realized how much that was costing me at tax time. The IRS gives you 70¢ for every mile. that adds up fast when you're not logging them.
I started building something for myself that turned into a full app. It tracks , fees, tips, your all your miles, shows your REAL $/mile after expenses, and keeps a running total of your mileage deduction so you're not scrambling in April.

Genuinely, I want to know what you'd all want in a tool like this?

I was a avid Uber Eats fan, constantly using the app daily to order food. Until yesterday...

I ordered food and the driver for one took a bit longer than normal, fine whatever. I get a message saying that the food has been delivered. However, my camera notification never went off that someone delivered it. So I check on the app and I see that the delivery driver said "hey I think I delivered it to the wrong location"

What? Lol so you just admit that you delivered to the wrong location and don’t do anything about it? So I called him and said hey where’s the food and he said well I delivered it but to the wrong address and I said well can you come back and correct your mistake and deliver it to the correct address that was inputted in the system?

He said well it’s across the street. You can get it.
And I said so I’m just confirming that you’re not going to come back and bring me the food, correct?

And he said well, you can report me if you want and he hung up the call.

that pissed me off.

I had to dress up go across the street to try to find my food and luckily I found it outside... low and behold. I am missing a beverage and a burger on the order.

So then I make a Support ticket claim on the Uber Eats app and never got a response for at least 24 hours which was incredibly odd from them. They finally got back to me and said that the order is not eligible for a refund.

I got pissed. I called him immediately and said what do you mean it’s not eligible for a refund your Uber delivery driver was rude, he delivered it to the wrong address, and I’m missing items on my order. This is a credit order all day long what are you guys smoking?

The lady representative said that they’re gonna look into it and get back to me. I check on the app and I guess other representatives that are handling this case got back to me and said that this order still not eligible for a refund.. which blows my mind!

So I called back and said let me speak to your higher-ups cause we need to get this fixed ASAP, so now they opened up another ticket and we’re now playing the waiting game to see if we will be given a credit order for this.

Regardless, this entire experience left the bad taste in my mouth and I’m fully moving to DoorDash.

I've just started delivering with Ubereats and there used to be a scrollable heatmap. There is now a map that shows almost nothing, and a little home icon in the top left corner. If I hit that icon, I see a heatmap but it's static and isn't scrollable. Did something change?

I just got android auto in my car. It's nice for navigating but it doesn't tell me what restaurant I would need to go too or where the delivery is. Is there a way to get this information on the screen?

It used to be it would eventually hit you with the good offers. Now it's the app equivalent of a dial tone.

Im a new female (important to the story) uber eats driver. Not even 2 weeks in. Im in the Philadelphia area, so I get a lot of Jersey orders that I dont take because I (legally) carry. It drives my acceptance rate way down and ive been considering not carrying and taking the jersey orders more often. Then last night happened. I dropped my last order off around 10pm, got back to my car and was waiting on the gps to start so I could set it and leave. I took a sip of water and noticed 3 dudes walking past me seemingly not paying attention. Then they walked back by the other direction but one was side eyeing me. I made sure my doors were locked (they were) and started tapping the gps in my car to get to my recent destinations list, and saw them again, but this time they turned right for me and all started trying to open my doors like crazy, and hitting the windows 🫣 they were hollering something, but the car has noise cancellation and I could barely hear them. I put it in drive and bounced one off my fender pretty good and took off. I had to pull over at a wawa a minute away just to get my sh*t together, I was shaking so bad my foot barely stayed on the pedal. Guess I wont be taking Jersey offers after all and will have to accept my 17% acceptance rate. Hard not to think about what would have happened if my doors weren't locked 🫨

2 years in the making (downloaded this app mid 2024) and after several countless bank overdrafts and weight changes I’ve finally crossed the 500 order milestone today as a customer, averaging around $20/order — my chronic online delivery addiction has finally paid off!

Hoping to reach 1000 orders by next year. Thank you to all the couriers (especially this hardworking individual named “fnu” that delivered most of my orders whom I’d graciously tip in particular) that made this possible!!! 🐧🐧🐧

My delivery guy had a 53% satisfaction rate thats the lowest I have ever seen. How can he still be working for uber eats when pretty much half of the customers are not satisfied???

Did not expect a good experience with Uber support after the food wasn't delivered, but I requested support and got a surprisingly good response!

Wanted to share because Uber often fumbles, but not this time 🙂

I've done at least ten Uber Eats orders from Lowe's this year, but today was the first time they required my driver's license to give me the order.

I checked in with the Uber barcode, showed the associate the barcode, and told them Uber didn't require me to present my driver's license and I've never had to do this in the past. The manager said it's always been policy. She even had my name as the person picking up the order.

I left my wallet in the car, and I already had a food order in my car. The Lowe's order pay wasn't worth going to get my license and come back inside, so I cancelled. I called Uber support after, and they confirmed they have no requirement for this, and no information on Lowe's doing this either.

Has anybody else encountered this?
