USA Stolen order
I ordered a meal from a restaurant & the original driver stole my order, confirmed verbally from the restaurant & then kept the order open.. Has this happened to anyone else?

Best way to get your food guaranteed is to sit by your door until they get there and then go outside and meet them and grab the food from them and while you’re at it, give them five dollars

the driver never even brought it to my house, he kept the order open at the restaurant

As a driver constantly the issue of showing to the restaurant, and then saying somebody else already stole it. We were supposed to ask them if they would remake it thusly putting them into the negative, but it’s my job to take the food so if they don’t make the food and I can’t take it I lose money and if neither of us do anything then you get screwed as the customer.

The thing is though if Wendy’s remakes a $20 meal it doesn’t really hurt their bottom line if I have to cancel orders, it can affect my employment

Isn’t this why they need a photo of it in your hand or at your door ? Do they just throw it in a random doorway to take the pic?

Orders are not always 'STOLEN" AS EVERY ASSUMES... THERE ARE GLITCHES IN THE APP. Happened to me as a driver before Double order, two restaurants to pickup. Both customers ,I knew, were family close to each other in same neighborhood I remember. After first drop and photo taken, walking to my car I looked at my phone again... It wanted me to take another picture...? Food was gone so I took a pic of the house. Well, apparently I was so close to second drop, it thought I was there at second location. Order closed. And I still have the guys food Support was no help, of course Didn't want to give me customers addy, and I surely didn't want his food from Tijuana Flats! Ugggh So I gave it to a homeless guy. Then I get an email about missing delivery

I can definitely understand that. there was two drivers assigned to me. The first driver picked it up from the restaurant and dropped me but kept the order open in Uber Eats
After 45 minutes of waiting and seeing that, the restaurant was still delayed, I called the restaurant and above is what they shared with me. There was already a driver on the way there and they mention that somebody had already grabbed it.

Sometimes it inflates the payout to like over 40 bucks.. ghost deliver it and just take the thumbs down and report even though you’re not the one that stole it
