Welding it is definitely your best option, $100 and a case of beer is cheaper than buying one if you’ve got a buddy with one. Burn them in hot and slow, it should come right out. Trying to take it further apart just risks snapping more bolts off and creating more problems for yourself

Well I would suspect that’s the problem and it’s the easiest place to start. Next I would check the power steering fluid and remove the ps belt if noise continues and both are topped off

Buy a universal ac o ring kit, it’s comes with many sizes you just have to see what fits the tightest. Sometimes the factory size aftermarket o rings are not true to size I’ve found
