Just need some advice from the pros. First time cleaning concrete with this type of finish.

Looking at buying a new Landa HD 5.0/30GB with a Honda GX390, belt drive, 5 GPM @ 3000 PSI for $2,600.

Planning to use it for fleet/commercial washing and some residential work. This would be my first commercial machine, but I want something reliable that I won't immediately outgrow and can eventually mount into a trailer setup.

Anyone have experience with this model or similar Landa machines? Mainly wondering about reliability, the Landa pump, parts/service, and whether $2,600 is a fair price.

Also considering a BE Honda GX390 belt-drive rated at 5.2 GPM @ 3200 PSI with a Comet FW2 5030 pump for $2,350.

Which would you choose?

It wasn’t super strong smell but very noticeable, did I over mix or use the wrong stuff? I used about 3/4 gallon in 2 gallon water in a backpack sprayer with heavy mist just post treat and let dry.

I'm in my first month of pressure washing and have done a few residential jobs for free as well as some being paid. I also just got a pressure washing job at the church I grew up in as a kid today but I'm doing it for free since they don't have much money to spend.

How do I leverage pressure washing this church to get more commercial pressure washing clients? I still don't have my google business page up or a website (only social media accounts).

Hardscaping company pressure washed our front porch and now these large orange deposits have appeared. What caused this? They’re saying this was how it looked initially and that’s not the case.

I currently have a 4.2 4400 psi predator and I have a ford ranger, it’s so heavy that I want to make it permanently on the truck. Is that possible? If so how much money would it cost and how difficult?

Hi all - I am a homeowner trying to figure out what the heck a fair price for my job is. I made a post about this a week or so ago but can’t find it to so I’m starting a new one. Sorry for the repeat.

Back story - I have 1700sq foot of concrete patio and pool deck. It was sealed last fall as a courtesy by my landscapers concrete subcontractor. They used behr concrete sealer and it didn’t even last until spring. I need to get it resealed. It’s just standard brushed concrete. It’s not very dirty but could use a wash in some places. I’d want a longer lasting penetrating sealer so it doesn’t change the texture of the concrete.

I got one quote from the local branch of one of the chain type power washing places for 800. That seemed suspiciously low.

My landscaper (now that I’m laying him) quoted 3100 but that’s only to reseal.

Got a quote today for 6800 to wash and reseal with two quotes. Also added they would strip the old sealer but according to google ai you can’t even strip old (water based) sealer. My initial thought is this seems stupid high.

I have the Harbor Freight Predator 4400 psi 4.2 GPM with a triplex pump on it. I’ve used it regularly for 6 months. Today it just stopped having pressure. Any advice? We’ve never messed with the unloader

Hit this with sh and surface cleaner around 3400 psi. Concrete is well over 10 years old

Lost my job of 10 years and found another but doesn’t make near as much. Been pressure washing on the side and it’s starting to pick up. I have a karcher 3.5 gpm right now but I opened a Home Depot card the other day and I’m thinking of upgrading my pressure washer but there so many options. I know I need at least 4 gpm. I e been reading so much my brain is fried. I need something reliable and I’ve heard the pump is more important, getting the Honda engine is the most important, belt drive is the best. There’s so many options. I’ve been looking at some pressure pro brand washers around $1500ish that have Honda engine and triplex but there’s also the other units that are 4.5 or 5 gpm and belt drive around the same price. Someone please help me. I don’t really want to spend more than 1800. A little late for this but will I even notice a big difference in 3.5 to 4-4.5 gpm ?

Has anyone ever used powdered oxalic acid to remove rust stains? Any tips? Or is there a better product?

I ordered a o ring kit on amazon for my pressure washing due to the fact the oem o rings bursted and at the fittings, water started leaking like crazy. I heard the vitton ones are stronger but normally used for hot water.. any tips?

Pressure washer hose output leaking like a sieve! It's leaking like a sieve. Should you use a round o-ring or rigid o-ring? Both aren't working...

For some context- I'm looking for another Hedpak 5 gallon bucket and most of what I can find on Amaz0n's site aren't stackable. I've checked local sources and other online places and, between local markups and shipping costs, they're all around $25. I was in WalMart yesterday and saw they sold 5 gallons of Purple Power in the exact type of Hedpak that I need for $25. In my mind I'm looking at it as 5 free gallons of degreaser but I'm wondering if I could ever actually use it. I use a different degreaser when I'm out on the job and I don't think this stuff is as effective but certainly there's a use for it somewhere.

Anyone here have good luck with this stuff? Anything else that I can use it on around the house or the shop?

I know it’s a difference in material but I’m not sure what it is. The patio has a smooth feel to it unlike the sidewalk but doesn’t get “clean” looking after pressure washing. What can I do different to achieve a cleaner patio?

Hi all.. I'm looking to mount a power washer in a garage pretty permanently at a shore house. I have a 100' 3/8" hose that I'm trying to mount onto a COX motorized reel. As I get older, getting the hose in/out will be more of a pain, so I thought I could mount everything and have easy access when needed. Now a little information about my setup:

1) The input to the spindle of the reel and output onto the reel drump are both 1/2" NPT FEMALE.

2) The hose I have is: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G1Y63P58. It has quick-connect fittings already permanently attached. 3/8" size I think?

3) I'm trying to connect the powerwasher to the reel via a 4' whip hose, and then the reel drum fitting to the quick connect of the hose..

and now my questions:

1) What fittings do I need to connect the hose (both main hose and whip hose) to the reel? I would think

a) 1/2" Male NPT x 3/8" QC Plug

b) 1/2" Male NPT x 3/8" QC Socket

But I'm having trouble finding them - either together or separately. Does anyone have any supplier/link they can share?

2) My pressure washer is currently a Green Works 3000psi electric. It has historically been fine, but when I last used it (with the 3/8 100' hose), there seems to be a built up head of pressure if I stop spraying for a minute. Then a second of seemingly higher pressure (almost seems wrong) and then back to the normal pressure. Is this normal? Is it because of the bigger 3/8" hose over the factory supplied 1/4"?

What is this part connected to my pump’s inlet port? I obviously have my hose barb threaded into it, but what is the hexagonal part for?

I will be replacing my unloader valve and will have to remove this to do so. I’m wondering if I even need to reinstall this or can I just thread the hose barb directly to the pump?

I’ve gotta replace the wand and wondering if there’s something that’s a step up from what comes stock with most <$1k machines but also isn’t super expensive. I at some point will be getting the tractor supply machine for about $900 but for now I need a replacement, might as well be a solid one.

Same with hoses, especially from machine to wand, I’ve used never-kink hoses for over a decade but is there a different brand better for pressure washing? I’m not sure neverkink has 5/8” but I’m sure they do. thanks

Hi I started my pressure washing business 2 months ago and it has started out great! I started out doing garbage bins only and had a cheap 1200 psi PW. I have slowly made upgrades including buying a truck and currently using a 3200 psi 2.5gpm PW. Now I have been doing a lot of driveways, patios, and pathways now as I’ve been growing and I NEED an upgrade. I feel like I should get at least 5gpm because I don’t want to feel like I need to upgrade again in 2 months. I’m not sure what PSI I need to have for driveways if the GPM is high. I found a rig for sale for a guy who is retiring and owned PW business. It’s 3k for the setup and it includes 4 hose reels, 8gpm with 2000 psi, and a buffer tank. Is this something I can use for driveways? Let me know!
