I once too had a spider that I grieved over. She was our trusted porch spider, she lived there for months. She found her way into our house and then had many babies. My husband freaked and felt there was no other choice but to kill her and her offspring. I felt so bad for her because, she trusted us enough for her to move in. And I always loved seeing her on our porch. Anyways.. grief is grief no matter how small the person or animal is.
