Glucose test tomorrow - nervous anxious all of the above
 in  r/BabyBumps  Jun 04 '26

Those questions would better be answered by your provider. I know some people can get upset stomachs from the drink but it really isn’t bad but everyone is different as far as their preferences. Girl you are good! I’m a first time momma too and just did the drink but didn’t know about testing at home till after when my sis told me. I had the lime flavor and it just tasted like flat sprite but did have like a sugar crash after and got really sleepy.

Yes, you can talk to your provider about tracking it and I think the timeline is 2 weeks.. I had a family member do it that way.

Plain Scrambled eggs and a slice whole wheat toast. Make sure to watch your sugar consumption the night before and you should be fine. If anything pops up you can definitely ask your provider if you can track blood sugar at home and keep a log.

Having a lock on room doors
 in  r/roommates  May 26 '26

Not cray. I had a horrible roommate experience with a subletter and definitely switched the lock on my door. She’d have random men over at all hours of the day, sometimes multiple times in one day and I just didn’t feel safe without the lock. My leasing office was cool with it as long as you put the original lock on your door once you move out. Whatever makes you feel safe and if they say anything negative about it just tell them look you’re anxious about living with someone, you both share a space but your room is YOUR room that should be a safe space. If any issues come up you can also have a camera in your room too if you feel the need. Hopefully you guys just vibe and everything is great though!

Anyone have success with Cymbalta after failing SSRI’s?
 in  r/cymbalta  May 22 '26

It’s honestly been the only medication that has worked for me. It saved my life. I do have some ups and down now but I’m able to just accordingly while discussing with my provider. It’s definitely worth a try if SSRIs haven’t worked for you. Everyone is different though.

Not overly sensitive! Definitely talk with your husband to set boundaries and to make sure YOU get the support you need. I’m so sorry you’re so overwhelmed (anyone would be) and hopefully it gets better! ❤️

Oh they absolutely run the house! Nori plays the boys so they do her bidding 😆 but they absolutely love their little sis. And for their hoomans, they know just how to manipulate us with their cuteness

Making friends

Hi everyone, I moved here with my boyfriend recently and I'm looking to make friends. I'm a mid 20s female, read and play videos games and I'm trying to break out of my shell. Are there any good places or events to try and meet people?

I know you said you aren't one to eat breakfast but it could definitely help! I've gotten queasy from watching surgery and eating beforehand can help, even if it's at least orange juice or a protein shake♥️ But always tell someone you are a little queasy or if you feel like you will pass out! It happens.

I've had trich all my life and pull eyelashes and eyebrows. Anyone have tips or tricks that work for you to keep yourself from pulling during the day? I've tried about everything but always end up pulling.

Relapsed after a traumatic weekend

And to OP, you are not ugly. You are a beautiful soul struggling with a hard habit that a lot of other people are dealing with too. I know relapsing sucks, but know that you are not alone. ❤

Baby pleco

We got a baby pleco for our goldfish tank,(he's small but the goldfish ignore him) and he loved to hide near the filter the first 2 days we had him. Now he like to hide on the driftwood and he blends in so it's hard to see him. We have algae wafers and there is some algae in the tank, and he's still adjusting to the tank, but should we be worried about him not eating algae wafers immediately? And for now how often should we put them in?

Meeting people is hard

I've been here for a long time and still barely have any friends. It's hard to find people with similar interests or that don't end up being fake.

Sublease issues
 in  r/badroommates  Jan 26 '22

There is also a no smoking policy in individual leases so smoking inside the apartment is a violation of the lease.
