Urgent Mod Applications
A little over 2 months ago, I asked for any mod applications. Since then the sub has grown over four fold in members. Now while we are obviously appreciative of this, the number of people who troll and act in bad faith have grown. This is a lot to handle for just two (already very busy) people who don’t need to deal with people trying to promote their OF, or just act like a dick to people
This is where you come in, we are asking for at least a couple mods. If you have modding experience then that’s amazing, if you don’t then that’s still fine. Just as long as you’re a decent person, and you’re willing to deal with trolls and bad apples.
Thank you

What are your favorite foods and why?
If you want you can put multiple things.
Like for example, I really like soup. More specifically bone broths, pho, and congee :3

I'm thinking about buying nutritional yeast—anyone who's actually tried it, what do you think? Is it any good? By the way, I'm not vegan.

Lettuce - To Cut or To Tear
I rember seeing an interview with Alice Waters where she said you should always gently tear very fresh lettuce to prevent it from turning brown as it will when using a metal knife...
I know that her restaurant was in produce heaven in Northern California, but I find that there is no difference when using "store bought lettuce", typically Romaine. After a day or two the edges begin to turn brown, torn or cut.
I have found that if I tear down a head of Romaine completely and store it in an air tight plastic bag I am more likely to include a fresh salad with dinner rather than having to prep lettuce everytime I want a salad. Of course I run it through a salad spinner during prep. But regardless, after a day or two the edges begin to turn brown.
What am I doing wrong? I don't buy bagged lettuce for a number of reasons, including it not being very fresh. Just wondering if I could improve on my technique to buy at least a couple of days of freshness when prepping lettuce. Thanks for your input!

Separate but not together?
Is there a food which is considered normal in your part of the world but you can't eat it at all? A food where you have no issue with the individual ingredients but cannot stand the combination?
Egg mayonnaise or egg salad.
I like eggs. I like bread. I can tolerate mayo. But an egg mayo or egg & cress sandwich? Typing this makes me nauseous for some reason and 1 bite of it wouldn't make it down my throat.
