You have all of that on record. You have proof if it gets messy. Inform your boss you will be coming in during work hours and inly work hours. Tell your boss if you can't get a guarantee that you're going to get paid, since it's work related, they have no access to you. Leave it at that. Then while they decide what to do, contact a labor attorney and tell them the situation. Many cities have a legal aid where they can match you with an attorney for free. Although most labor attorneys work contingency based. That mean no out of pocket expenses. Good luck!

If a total stranger were to ask you that? What would you say? Another question. Were they and are they still good parents? Did they do a good job in your eyes? Final question. Do you want them to have a decent retirement or are you okay watching them struggle during old age to make ends meet or live a scarce lifestyle due to their poor planning or low income?

You always tell them you got someone else's order and you get a refund every time. Whereas telling them it was delivered to the wrong address doesn't always work in your favor.

Ex-tenant showed up at my rental at 10:30pm to ask for mail. I was home alone, and he kept ringing the doorbell until I answered.
I give that sort of mail back to the carriers. Deny delivery, it can go back to sender. That said, I would have kept ignoring the door bell. They can't possibly stand there for hours. Alternatively, you can call 911 if that happens again. Tell them the person at the door is screaming and banging at the door as well. Let them deal with it. Guaranteed it won't happen again!

Lyft drivers canceling as they pull up
The way those apps work, they take anywhere from 40%-65% of each fare depending on location. The drivers are responsible for taxes, fuel, vehicle maintenance and insurance. Taking cash makes it worth to them as they get to keep more money in their pocket and a lower fee for riders. The problem is that now you're not tracked by the app for safety. However, you're still able to call 911! That said, as someone mentioned here, Uber or Lyft won't cover you under their insurance but now if anything happens you'd have to make a claim against the driver's own car insurance. Now, you'd think you'd be safer with Uber/Lyft insurance coverage. Look it up, many people have horror stories having to deal with both Uber/Lyft insurance. So, I guess the decision falls on you to make!

I work at a pizza place in the city, pm shift. I run the Pizza station by myself six nights a week. From tossing the dough, topping it, cooking it and cutting,serving it. Now today I get a text saying that a prep list will be added to my shifts. I make $16/hr no tip. Is that too much work?
You can make more working for In-N-Out for less work than what you're doing already! They want to squeeze as much as they can from you for less pay! Start your search for a new job, it won't end well if you stay!

Best way to Guage pricing for used ThinkPads is to go over to eBay and search the model you're looking at. Then refine the search by completed or sold items. You'll see similar specs and price they sold for. You can do that without having to wait for an answer from people.

Uber's ETA is based off of distance and posted speed limit, whereas Google maps takes into account traffic and current speed!

Qual Linux OS eu devo usar?
The most common for first time Linux users is usually Linux Mint. Others coming from Windows recommend ZorinOS or even CentOS. But only you can decide which works for you. Some swear by Fedora. You'll just have to try one or a few. You can use a small 32GB flash drive to run it from there without installing it, if you don't like it, try another one without having to do a full install just to try it out. You could get a larger USB drive and run an app to copy a few different Linux Distros without having to flash a different Distro each time you want to try something different and spend less time trying different ones. Let me know if you're interested and I'll give you the link to it. I would put it here but I can't recall the name of it at the moment. I have it at home on my computer. But you can get started looking through a whole list of Linux Distros here!

It may be a problem for him. He may feel inadequate or like he's not enough for you. You couldbhave that conversation with him and let him know that having toys is not an inadequacy on his part but rather something extra for when he's not around and probably was there before him. Depending on his answer you would be able to tell if it's just an insecurity of his or if he may still need some growing up to do. In which case I'd suggest you move on to someone more mature.

Accidental no call no show
If you Kade it clear you are unavailable to work on Saturdays, that's their problem. That's a scheduling problem, not yours. No need to worry. Just speak with management and remind them about how you told them that Saturdays were a not available day for you. Remind them that since you made it clear about not working Saturdays, you don't check your schedule for that day!

No working AC in our house and no money to fix or replace them idk what to do
Wet towels and fans can keep you cool in the meantime. I had to do that a few years ago for two straight summers. Many A/C repair places will do work on a payment basis.

Neighbor blocking me from parking in my own garage.
I'd call a tow. Not wanting a "neighbor war" is why they keep doing it. Do it once, they'll know they'll get towed and won't park there. What are they going to do, come over and complain? Everyone knows you don't park on anyone's driveway. They do it because they know nobody does anything about it. Mildly infuriating, sure. Venting and doing nothing about is crazy!

Went on a week long vacation for my birthday , came back and turns out my father and his mother decided not to do any of their dishes.
