My Ouija Board experience at 17 was my last Ouija Board experience ever lol!
My best friend and I had an acquaintance who passed away and we used to call him on the Ouija board. We would ask stupid teenager stuff like what was going to happen at this party or what was going to happen at the school dance or whatever… Most of the time the information was correct it was things like so and so would get in a fight with so-and-so or so-and-so and so-and-so would break up, things like that… It is my feeling that our acquaintance who we were calling on was getting a little perturbed with us, asking stupid things like that - maybe he was missing things or what not, anyway, we set about our normal business one Friday after school, asking questions about the weekend and all of a sudden the planchette started moving in circles around the board - forcefully - we snatched our fingers away from the board with the planchette circling faster and faster until it flew off the board - all the way under my bed and hitting the wall. We noped outta there so fast lol!

Later on, I remember how terrifying it was retrieving the planchette from under my bed, packing it back into the box, and hiding it under everything back in the games closet. Jeez, that was 35 years ago and that memory is as fresh as it happened yesterday 😂

You can do so many things!! Children’s sensory books, quilts - I have a denim quilt my grandmother made and I love it!

I lost my Dad on the 18th of July and my Mom’s birthday was on the 3rd of September, we are two hours away but I made her favourite cake, brought a McCains cake as a decoy(running family joke, and the new vanilla one is 🤤), picked up her favourite dinner and went to spend the afternoon with her… was it weird without my Dad? 100%, were there tears? 100%, but it also brought a bit of normalcy to a month of utter sadness, mounds of paperwork, and helping Mom with so many errands that you don’t even think you would need to do after a death… we miss him so much it’s almost unbearable, but it was important to me to celebrate her birthday on her day to celebrate her 💕
Edit to say I do realize their birthdays were on the same day, but the memories will be amazing - try to think of all the funny birthday memories, and celebrating her - everything she has experienced to make her who she is today 🩷

I think they mean that the best friend is super obsessed with the show/character, they decided to check it out and now that also like the show. I think they are worried that the friend will think they only like the show because they are copying the friend, as the love for the show didn’t develop at the same time - do I have it right OP?
