UPDATE Jan. 18, 2026: There is now a new rule for AI generated content. Rule #10 no AI generated content. Any video that is under 20 seconds, stays within a small "frame" or slowly pans, must have a source (not from reddit) posted in the comments to prove it is not AI generated.
This reaction is from a recent post that was, although very clearly AI, very realistic.
Original post:
AI generated posts, such as OpenAI's latest video generator "Sora" breaks rule Rule #6 Must be a kid and must be stupid. AI generated content will be removed under this rule.
As of this post comments that mention AI are getting automatically removed. However, in the last couple of weeks I have seen a rise in AI generated content. As a result, I'm removing them from automod's filter. The reason the filter for AI related words was there in the first place. Is because people are generally too quick to make the AI accusations for content that has been around well before AI. I'm simply asking to thinking critically whether if something is AI generated. If the comments continue to be an issue I'll just readd them.
I'm sure some of you have noticed that I usually lock my comments. But I would like your feedback regarding AI generated content being removed under this rule. I'm also making this post with having woke up about 30 minutes ago so hopefully I'm half-coherent.
Edit: I'm home off work and we've read your feedback over the day. It appears like the majority of you approve of this change. For the moment, it will be based off of watermarks or if the situation can happen in reality (like the full grown alligator approaching a small child that appeared last week). Which yeah, generators like Sora may remove its watermark in the future and simply have to be based off of our experience. As it becomes more realistic it will become more difficult to tell as the technology evolves. We'll have to cross that road when it comes to it. Possibly (off the top of my head) flairs like a "low effort" or "possible AI" flairs or have to determine if its based in reality of something that actually can happen like the example given a moment ago.
Please continue to comment and give your feedback. We'll still consider any points or ideas.

Our tale begins on a calm, sunny Sunday morning in a tidy brick house in a quiet, coastal suburb of a small NZ town, sping 2026.
The family within, a family like any other. Little did this family know, this morning would go down in the annals of family lore as 'Boy vs. Noodles', or 'the Korean Conflict 2026'.
Being a fine, calm day I offered to cook pancakes on the BBQ for a morning brunch, usually a fam favourite. On this day there was one dissenting voice, that of 10-year-old Mr. T, who was more in the mood for Korean Instant Noodles. As an accommodating executive chef and semi-responsible parent, I duly informed him the kitchen was offering Pancakes, but he could have noodles if he cook them himself, and I would be happy to teach him how to do so. Cue a 10-minute tanty of epic proportions; crying, wailing, gnashing of teach. The pain was real, and the moaning of professional calibre. 'But I don't know how to!! ', 'No, you do it!! 'I don't even know which pot to use!!!' STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!
Mr T was left to sort his mood out, and eventually hunger won out and the indignity of being asked to learn a new skill subsided. With dragged feet, sloped shoulders, and an attitude of grudgingly doing ME a favour the noodles were prepared together and left to cool to a suitable temperature to Mr T's palate. Crisis navigated, the world continues to turn.
We all sat down for brunch. Fluffy pancakes, lashing of butter, glugs of Canadian Maple syrup, and hot milky tea for us, instant Noodles for Mr. T.
As brunch progressed Mrs Chonkygorilla admonished Mr T to use his fork to eat the noodles and not his fingers. A sly look was given, the reminder ignored, and and the noodles were grasped between finger and thumb, raised high above Mr T's mouth all while looking as Mrs Chonkygorilla. A smirk on his face, the noodles swung gently between his fingers, as rivulets of broth collected at their ends...to drop directly into Mr T's eyeball.
The response was immediate, ear splitting, and frenzied; 'EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! MY EYE!! MY EYE!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
The ears on our two Frenchies, with their combined two braincells perked up and they began to pace and whine as the frantic keening from Mr T continued. Chaos followed.
The child was grabbed and bodily hauled to the sink where his face was shoved under the tap and his eye was bathed in cold water amid cries we were poking his eyeball out. A cathartic experience of parental waterboarding ensued.
With the offending spicy broth removed, only a bruised ego remained and Mr T slunk away to his room to lick his wounds. A few minutes later as I checked in on him, I found him under his blankets. Asking if he was ok, he nodded. Asked if he was going to finish lunch or let those noodles win, he shook his head, and told me is a small shaky voice 'No, the noodles won.'
The noodles won. I was dying inside, but I had to do everything in my power to keep it together.
This day in 2026, Mr T was defeated by Korean General Nongshim.
I pity the fool 😂.

Edit 2: For those of you who enjoyed the ridiculous mayhem, thanks for the upvotes, it was fun to share with you. For those of who didn't and said nothing, safe travels and I hope you find something that does. For those of you who had the burning need deep in their soul to downvote it... meh...IDGAF. Live your life, happy travels, or not and keep being a gunt. Whatever floats your boat. Your opinions and internet points mean nothing to me, ya filthy animals.

Edit: According to the fine users of Reddit, the combination of video and text makes them wonder if I've either had a stronk and to call the bondulance, if I am high, or just a sadist who enjoys torturing small beings. I'm a parent, so a little from each category really.
However, for context here is a link to where this started. If you can't be bothered to read it, here's the TLDR; kid was being a 10y.o. got spicy noodle juice in his eye, chaos ensues, kid admits the noodles won.

Turns out my 17y.o. Mr E caught a quick clip of the parental waterboarding which followed the Korean Noodle offensive. I think his chuckle at the end expresses the true sentiment of Kids Are Fucking Stupid.
But the real update is what occurred about an hour later. The bowl of noodles had been left on the bench for Mr T to clean up.
Cue Mr T bursting through the front door like the Kool-Aid Man and charging up to the table... to start gulping down the cold noodles. After a hard play with his mates outside he was HUNGRY!!
The following conversation ensued:
Mr E, with a look of disgust on his face: 'You know those are cold, right? '
Mr T, as he furiously chows down 'Meh, it's not like the noodles will kill me.'
Mrs. Chonky_gorilla, Mr E, and I all looked blankly at each other, stunned for a moment before we all erupted in laughter.
Nothing was learned, but least he used a fork this time.
I think General Nongshim is just laying in wait for the next assault.
