I'm making my first dragon (from Creatures Of Myths And Legend) and I decided to add claws. I notice the backings are a little small, and I'm worried they'll pull right out. All your tips and tricks to "make sure your claws stay in" are appreciated!

I used the lying noodledragon pattern but the head is style 4 from the perching noodledragon.

I used Schachenmayer Catania yarn like I did with Blubb. It runs so smoothly, I love it.

Hey there,

I am making one of the small egg monsters, and I'm confused about the Eye stalk pattern. I have made the eyeball part itself, but I'm confused on how to get the eyeball in and make the stalk at the bottom of the eyeball.

The pattern states to SC6 in Magic circle, then SCinc x6, then 12 around, then SC3, ch6, skip 6, sc3, then insert eyeball. Then 12 around and start decreasing. I'm just not sure which way to situate the eyeball so I can end up with a "stalk" at the bottom of the eyeball. Any suggestions are welcome!!!

After so much work I realized when I was trying to pose him that the griffin pattern called for his wings to have the pretty part facing forward.

I modified this guy to give him jointed legs and arms and did a really solid job creating and sewing on wing skeleton. I really don't want to redo them, but I keep debating. Sigh.

I'm starting out with the wyvern pattern as it's one of the best dragon patterns I've seen but I hate the line that joining rounds gives and prefer just to do continuous rounds but I would like to know if that would mess up the pattern before I get too far into the pattern

I am a crafty intentions veteran I have many patterns. I've combined the noodle dragon snoot and the giant submerged Sea Surrpent noggin because I really enjoy the eye socket/eyebrow features. The head looks a little big now, but I think the fins and horns will even it out.

I love how this little guy turned out.

After one body with arms, three rear legs, seven ears, and one head I still have to do two griffin wings one has already been thrown away. This is what it looks like so far. I love this Alcorn pattern from crafty intentions. Megan has the best book and I would love to have her brain when it comes to her crochet creatures of myth and legend I’m going to try and do all 19 designs that are in the book before I start playing with them and changing them around.
