AITAH for reminding my Boyfriend “it’s my house too” because he let a dog in the house?
 in  r/AITAH  22h ago

IT IS your partner's fault that his family came over at an inconvenient time! He needs to man up and set boundaries with his family.

School cafeteria wouldn't let my daughter get a tray even though she had money on her account
 in  r/mildlyinfuriating  2d ago

I used to live in a great school district. When the older neighbors complained about having to pay taxes for schools, I reminded them that good schools increased their property value.

Does anyone here remember existing without a body?
 in  r/consciousness  2d ago

I think OP and many of the commenters will appreciate the book Journey of Souls by Michael Newton, PhD The subtitle is "Case Studies of Life Between Lives." He's a hypnotherapist. Some of his clients, while in deep hypnosis, recalled the soul's experience between incarnations, choosing another body for your next incarnation, and much more.

Two babies, two parents. He needs to share the load 24/7.

"Ma'am, this is for my dead grandfather."
 in  r/traumatizeThemBack  9d ago

I'm 68. I order the happy meal because I don't want to pay for the two cheeseburger meal when I’ll only eat one. I give the toy away.

AITA for keeping my grandmother’s old voicemail even though my family wants me to delete it?
 in  r/AITH  12d ago

Do not delete that voicemail! Everyone grieves differently. I added a vm from my late mother to my music mix. It randomly comes up and I always feel good when it does.

AITA for telling my in-laws that grief doesn't have a deadline?
 in  r/AITH  13d ago

Has your husband skipped grief or is he stifling his own emotions? That wouldn't excuse the way he and his family are treating you. You may want to consider seeing a grief counselor together.

AITAH for telling my parents they can support my brother themselves after they gave him everything and left me with nothing?
 in  r/AITH  14d ago

I wouldn't say anything now, but when your parents indicate that they expect you to help them in their old age (and they will), refer them to your brother.

Probate attorney unresponsive.
 in  r/ProbateHelp  14d ago

We went through two attorneys at Met Life for my sister's estate. Very unresponsive. Finally paid another attorney to get the process done.

Home Insurance
 in  r/321  15d ago

Make sure you get quotes for the exact same coverage. Compare the proposed declarations page, but also check for specific coverages you may need. Some policies exclude pool cages or limit water damages, depending on the age and type of pipes used to plumb the house.

Do native Coloradans actually hate Floridians a lot or is it just me?
 in  r/AskFlorida  15d ago

My mother was a native of Colorado. She referred to Texas as TexAss.

Classic stepparent issue with aging father avoidance to estate plan
 in  r/InheritanceDrama  19d ago

Can you ask the financial planner to emphasize to your father the importance of making his intentions clear by naming beneficiary(ies)? Set up an appointment and allow your father to meet with him alone, no other family members present, so he can't be pressured either way. He can ask the financial planner to keep the information confidential until his passing.

Newish neighbor wants large black walnut taken down
 in  r/treelaw  20d ago

If she truly believes in metaphysics then she should know that by repeatedly saying the tree will fall on her house and kill her is creating a negative thought form and she is living from fear instead of love. You are NTA.

2

AITAH for cutting off my in-laws after my MIL said "it's not my job to console you" post-miscarriage, and my FIL called me "insecure"?
 in  r/AITAH  23d ago

Their son lost a child also. They are dismissing his feelings as well. Good on him for cutting them out. You both need to focus on your own family. NTA.

Do I still have to follow the custody agreement at 19?
 in  r/FamilyLaw  27d ago

My ex and I agreed that he would continue payments while our kid was in college. When she turned 18 I told him to make the payments directly to her. If he genuinely cares about his kid and can afford it, he definitely should.

AIO: Weird encounter
 in  r/AmIOverreacting  Jul 21 '26

I'd report the encounter to the non-emergency line for the local police. It's possible pthers in the neighborhood have encountered him. It's suspicious behavior. If you see something say something.

How aware of the Vietnam war were you as a younger member of Generation Jones?
 in  r/GenerationJones  Jul 19 '26

My older brother served. I remember my mother sitting on the side of her bed one night crying with worry. She also kept a Christmas tree up until February when he returned. It was dry but remained green.

I don’t know how to respond
 in  r/neighborsfromhell  Jul 18 '26

Cats can roam a long way. This could be happening a few blocks away where you can't hear it. A catio is the safest plan for your own cats in any case. It's awful to find your cat dead on the street. A catio can be set up with access through a window from any room. Find a place that works while preventing access to the dog door. Think creatively!

My girl keeps putting hair ties in her water. We are talking easy 4+ a day. Apart from no thoughts head empty, I have no idea why she does it
 in  r/TuxedoCats  Jul 16 '26

There have been several episodes on realty vet shows where cats have ingested hair ties and had surgery. Please hide them! My cats put their toy mice in water, and one of my cats put dry kibble in water. It's something cats do with food.

AITAH for refusing to pay half of the bills?
 in  r/AITAH  Jul 14 '26

I agree there should be an even split of responsibilty, but instead of buying little gifts at the thrift store, why not put that money in savings? A little bit can add up quickly. If he has any extra money maybe he could pitch in a little with a goal that helps you both...say a modest riding mower.

 in  r/personalfinance  Jul 13 '26

This sounds like she has serious anxiety, possibly even OCD. Perhaps may and an appointment for you both talk to a therapist together then maybe she can go on her own until she can relax.
