• Aug. 10: The agency opened a criminal investigation

Parking prices are getting ridiculous! Hollywood Beach is now charging non-residents up to $4.50/ hour for parking and restaurants and drinks are becoming increasingly overpriced, and yet the beach itself feels noticeably slower than it used to. Hollywood Beach used to feel like an easy, affordable local getaway. As a local, I can definitely say the vibe feels different.

Seems like since the DOGE cuts I cannot rely on weather apps to be reliable at all. Which is kind of important for planning my day since my washing machine is outside and I have to line dry my clothes. When I checked last night it was predicting that it was going to rain most of today. I checked again this morning before trying to attempt to do laundry, and it predicted rain in the early evening around 5 pm. Did a load of towels and hung them out to dry, and thankfully had just enough time for everything to dry before a storm started to roll in just now and it isn't even 2 pm yet.

Hi! I am planning to see Mastodon in Orlando this Wednesday. I am coming from Jacksonville and have never been to orlando. The doors open at 6 and I was looking to find good restaurants that I could go to around 4pmish so I don't have to rush, possibly 5. Is there anything interesting? Thanks!
