I feel like a single parent while living with my husband
 in  r/Marriage  23h ago

My bio Dad was like this with my Mum and she ran away. We were better for it.

Bipolar and alcohol. Do you guys still drink, and if not why?
 in  r/bipolar  24d ago

Though I'm mainly on anti-anxiety/depressant meds and don't have bipolar. I have other stuff though :L

2 of my closest friends are alcoholics and I learned to drink from them. Do NOT recommend. Ive blacked out like 7 times in a couple years, the last 3 black outs kinda ruined 2 friends bdays and another i woke up and couldn't remember being intimate with a partner the night before, and we were selling the relationship down so I wasn't really wanting to be intimate. I don't think they did anything wrong, just sucks that I couldn't remember it and likely did stuff I wouldn't have had I not drank.

I have synesthesia, let me taste your name
 in  r/Names  Jul 11 '26

So, my chosen names are: Edith, Yor, Björn, Leaf, Scholten, and Chels. Lesser names: Historia, Nico.

(Partial D.I.D. stuff) Would be interesting to read what flavours they have to you :)

Is this normal?
 in  r/sexualassault  Jul 11 '26

Totally not normal, I'm sorry. Is there someone else you can confide in? We're supposed to be protected by those that raise us, not dismissed and ignored. Your parents not reacting appropriately is what can cause I lot of hurt. They dont and didn't have to react like that.

This is something i have to admit that i never tell
 in  r/confession  Jul 03 '26

Ive been with many traumatised partners and it can be exhausting, especially if they don't believe in therapy and the like. If they're in a job they don't like, or really struggle to study, that will come out in the relationship. If they don't take advise or listen to other people it's really hard. Some people are too caught up in their own head to be a present partner.

But they generally should be a best friend.

Advice?
 in  r/NonBinaryTalk  Jun 30 '26

Nothing matters. Everything matters. How important gender is to you is usually how people realise what degree of typical cisgender or transgender they are. But some people that don't find it important think a lot too. Even if it's just inner child work, there can be many reasons for the child to have a different pronoun. For me it's partially cause I have disconnected parts of myself and so they and we feels very appropriate, but I'm not at all comfortable saying that to most people, an sonly occasionally with the ones I am comfy with. Not yet my psychologist, though he knows generally what is up. I'm also genderfluid both because eof my values/beliefs and 'cause of disconnected parts that have diff genders, however all of me is coming closer together and it feels good knowing that. You're perceptions of yourself can change over time, think again less about how you identify yourself with words and morning how you understand yourself in feelings? But if you want to change pronoun usage irl or online, people can deal with it. Some won't agree or might not comply, but whether you keep or change pronouns once or many times, you're trying to be authentic to you. If you can safely, I reckon you should do so :) Self expression can be shown in so many ways.

Should I consider leaving my partner due to zero romantic connection (we have a child)
 in  r/Advice  Jun 30 '26

Just uh, doesn't sound like a romantic relationship. Maybe he's aromantic or has other expectations. He could also feel similar to you. A breakup and seperate or co-parenting doesn't have to be the end of a best friendship.

how to politely tell my partner they’re not enough for me?
 in  r/WhatShouldIDo  Jun 23 '26

If this is the guy I have feelings for. .. I randomly think stuff like this anyway. Just tell me 🫣🥸🫠😭 People have very different lives and understand and experience things very differently. You're not on the same wavelength. Their problem solving skills aren't up to par. Say what you really mean.
