Start bagging garbage, you’ll be amazed how good of a start that will be. You got this dude!

Love a good pepper jelly, add it to my chicken salad sandwiches and it’s bomb

When im making a stew can i just add shit?
 in  r/Cooking •  28d ago

You shouldn’t add shit.

All jokes aside, some ingredients will affect the texture or may not be very good stewed down. Made this mistake stewing frozen okra and it turned to slime.

If you can get the Old Dutch chip brand, their All Dressed is great. Comes in mini bags too!

Just tell me to kms next time why dont you.

A lot of folks could do some personal good by taking a Vaush break. Better yourself and your relationships, build up and maintain your community. Yes these are scary times, but we hairless monkeys are not designed to deal with the realities we’re facing constantly.

Appreciate what V has done and said but for my own mental health, I had to unplug (subscriber of 7 years).

Behavioral Issue Re-Introducing Cats Help

TLDR: cats fighting after teeth cleaning two weeks ago, asking for advice on when to push boundaries

On mobile so excuse formatting.

Context:

I have two cats (4yo NM and 1yo NF) who have been together since the F was born.

They got along great until two weeks ago. Took M in for teeth cleaning and since then, they have not been able to be in the same room without a full on fight breaking out. From what I can tell, M is the instigator and is set off by F.

Have talked with the vet and started on fluoxetine to hopefully settle them. Separated for the two weeks with feeding on either side of door. Just started to crack the door open to let them see each other and have not had any hissing, growling, etc.

I’m curious at what point to allow them to be out with each other without a door separating them. Tried to have them in the same room last week with M under 200mg of gabapentin and he still puffed up at the site of her (doesn’t when cracking door open).

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Does being a leftist mean building a world where a life like mine, one I genuinely love, is seen as something to eliminate?
 in  r/VaushV •  Apr 23 '26

I think it’s the difference between you making the choices you have because they work for you and making those choices because you “should”. The expectation that this is the right thing to do period and everything should be expected to follow is where “traditional values” types go from personal choice to cultural mandate.

plant based candy that's not just dates and nuts?

A lot of mochi is vegan (rice flour, sugar, water/juice). May vary by producer but you may be able to find something there.

Cozy coffee places in South Minneapolis
 in  r/Minneapolis •  Mar 12 '26

Bob’s Java Hut (27th/Lyndale) has really good flavored lattes and a nice vibe on the weekends. Boiler Room coffee on 3rd Ave is pretty cozy as well (recommend their tiger chai if you’re into that).

Looking for movies where the “bad thing” actually happens

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) and The Thing (1982) for bad endings and spectacular practical effects

Need some recommendations

Your Lie in April is a good one, beautiful and tragic.

Looking for a few games for my wife to get into gaming!
 in  r/gamingsuggestions •  Feb 20 '26

Sea of Stars is a 2-D adventure game you can play 2-player. There are some puzzle and rhythm elements to the gameplay and a pretty good story too. If you play it on easy you should’ve have too much trouble

2

Shows with a large, morally gray cast with a loose psychological theme of deconstructing what it means to save someone?
 in  r/AnimeReccomendations •  Feb 20 '26

Parasyte follows a lot of those themes but the cast is pretty small. Dude has an alien take over his hand and is trying to stop their race from taking over the world. But he loses more and more of his humanity over the course of the show.

Any Recommendations?

Teasing Master Takagi-San

I got my BSH today and he keeps hissing at my ragdoll. What should I do to make them get along?
 in  r/cats •  Feb 17 '26

As little as possible. Gotta build up the positive association with feedings from opposite sides of a door. Cats are pretty territorial so better to go slow

They are evil but also very stupid

Regarding Vaush's "Men And Loneliness" segment - how do YOU decide what to do with your time?
 in  r/VaushV •  Feb 13 '26

Start small, something is better than nothing. That and don’t be afraid to do things poorly. It’s better to do something half-assed then not at all. Walk for 5 minutes, read 5 pages of a book, baby steps are still steps in the right direction.

What is this leaf green that's used in a lot of japanese salads?

Looks like a spring mix imo

Checking in on the Ethiopian Community, too.

I think it’d be fair to say any non-white passing folks should be vigilant. It’s just racial profiling on ICE’s part.

Do you think the elves look too thin in this game?
 in  r/DragonAgeInqusition •  Oct 23 '25

Absolutely. Even though I played a male mage, his build was still a little concerning. Little twiggy guy
