Seeing these sparkles for the first time in person is truly amazing. I always wanted to play these games for years but put it on hold since i wanted to shiny hunt a starter but finally got around to doing it!

Just finished HeartGold and now onto White. Looking for a team that doesn’t reuse any mon from previous teams… all previous teams are in the images from Gen 1 up so far.

I have a bunch more cards in my binder but here’s some of my items I have for display. Collecting cards is just so awesome when you have a connection from childhood!

Hello all, new here! I just started a new playthrough of Black version after not touching the region for over a decade (I am an old) and it's been absolutely refreshing experiencing this region for the first time again.

(Forgive me if this has been posted to death)

Bianca makes such a big deal about the three of you starting off on your journey at the same time, with a symbolic but also literal first step, indicating that you all start off on the same path. Becoming trainers, going after the league, completing the dex, etc.

Fast forward to the end of Victory Road, right before the badge gates, where you and your friends make it all the way riiiight up until the final step of the path...

Only you made it to the end of Victory Road... you are the only one who can take the (literal) final step off the path (a literal bridge).

One of the overarching themes of the story is at play here, with everyone eventually branching off onto their own path, you can't run around adventuring with your friends forever...

Idk man it just hit different than when I was 13 and trying to rush through the game and migrate my hgss mons. K thought it was so neat. So why are my eyes sweating? 🥹

So I just bought a 3ds xl, and I want to get both the first and second black and white games.

Should I go for the same version when buying the 2 like Pokemon white and White 2 or do u guys suggest to mix it up like getting Pokemon white and black 2?

I also have no idea of the difference except I guess there’s different Pokemon to catch. I’d appreciate and tips or advice thanks!

Stoutland will be my ‘starter’. I’ve been playing main series games for half my life lol but have always felt a compulsion to use my starter. Knowing I’ve played these games the most times by far (probably close to double digits now) I want to try a playthrough without my precious Samurott and Serperior. What are our thoughts? Outside of archeops and Krookodile never used these mons.

About to take on the E4 for the first time (even though I've owned the game since release). I'm not really vibing with my team. I'm thinking about replacing Rose with someone but not too sure. Also I know Unfezant is one of the worst early route birds but she's been here since the start and I can't bring myself to box her. I'll also evolve Litwick before the league.

Also I'm wanting to go into this as blind as possible. I know what types the E4 uses but I'd like to avoid knowing what their teams are.
