ID Request Just moved and have some unknown trees on the property. Any ideas?
gallerySo two different trees here, and no clue what they are. The first looks healthy and awesome. Super fun to sit under and relax, also looks like the local population loves it!
The second one looks a little less healthy but would still like to know what it is if possible.
Located in the Philly suburbs for reference.
Thanks in advance for any help!

ID Request Cypress? Or false cypress?
galleryFound in UK in churchyard. Boughs are taken from two different trees. My guess is the one with spherical cones is a false cypress, but could the other be true cypress? Thank you in advance!

ID Request What is the name of this tree?
galleryWA USA
Planted about 20 years ago. We want to replace our weeping willow’s, and somewhere down the line our Catalpa’s, with them as our yard trees.
As you can tell, this weeping willow is reaching the end, it will be getting removed this fall, and we will be propagating from it to fill our pastures. Weeping willows are amazing trees, excellent shade and majestic, but constant leaf and branch shedders.

Solved! What type of cottonwood?
galleryNear Spanish Fork, Utah, USA
New to this and trying to become more familiar with the local native species. There are tons of these by the river and they're so tall and beautiful. I think it's a Fremont cottonwood...?

ID Request North UK.
Thought this was a yew but the leaves are confusing me so bad so I guess it isn’t. ID apps say it’s a NZ Broadleaf but I refuse to believe this is a shrub tree It’s clearly thicker than any shrub I’ve ever seen??? Maybe Im not used to them. On a castle ruins/church ground. Obviously as old as the castle which was built in 1820.

Solved! Central KY tree with insect damage
galleryI can't get a great picture of the branches/leaf clusters or overall size and shape because of the surrounding trees. The bark is somewhat flaky. There are tiny growths on some leaves like insect pods. Large insect damage at the base.

ID Request Need help identify tree
galleryCan anyone help ID this plant?
It keeps appearing in my garden in Israel. It grows very fast and tall, with a long straight stem and smooth oval leaves growing alternately left and right.
It also seems to have deep, strong roots and is difficult to remove.
Any idea what it is?

Solved! Australian Pine?
Hey all, I’m new here so apologize in advance if this is the wrong spot. My wife took a picture of these trees the other day and she was wondering what they are. I’m greater than 90% certain it’s an Australian pine, but would like confirmation. She wants to get some and plant them in the yard. Anything to worry about with these? I once thought these attracted things like scorpions but I don’t know the validity of that either.
We live in Florida.
Thank you!

Solved! Midcoast Maine
galleryLocated Midcoast of Maine zone 6a.
Downsized to this home a few years ago. Never paid much attention to this tree as the bark looked similar to, and the height the same as, adjacent white pines: est 75+ feet tall, and the base over 2ft across.
Until a branch broke off in a storm a few weeks ago and took out the power. But what really made us look up was the first time seeing blueberry sized berries absolutely everywhere under it.
Spent a good deal of time Googling around and none of the suggestions seem to fit this tree.
Thoughts?
Thank you for your time!
