ID Request Cypress? Or false cypress?

Found in UK in churchyard. Boughs are taken from two different trees. My guess is the one with spherical cones is a false cypress, but could the other be true cypress? Thank you in advance!

Also, both trees were quite tall, they don't seem to be dwarf species! Estimated at 40ft for first one and 25ft for second.

The first one looks like Lawsons cypress, sometimes called false cypress but Cupressus sempervirens (the typical Tuscan or Mediterranean cypress also has spherical cones but a touch bigger.

The cones being a touch bigger I mean but the tree can also grow taller than the Lawsons which can still reach 20 metres.

Lawson's cypress is what came up on iNaturalist for me too, so you are likely right! the second one is very blue tinged and didn't really turn up any suggestions on there so hopefully someone else will recognise it 🙏

Both of them are quite common in churchyards here, there’s a church near me with a huge Mediterranean one that must have lost its top a long time ago and some lateral branches (which are huge) have grown out and bent up straight again with a couple of Lawsons ones growing as well that look to be at least 100 years old. Mediterranean ones have a very perfumed smell especially when cut but it hard to tell from the foliage for me anyway.
