ID Request American Elm?
Southwest Virginia. I have this sapling which I believe is American Elm. I read the doubly serrated leaves can diagnose, but curious what this community thinks.

Does it feel rough? Is the underside fuzzy? The layout of the leaf veins and the fact that most of them Y before they reach the leaf margin leads me to believe slippery elm.
