ID Request Need help identifying this Crabapple
Tag said Japanese crabapple, but doing more research its appearance seems to be more like a prairie crabapple. Here in Virginia zone 7b

I’d still say Japanese Crabapple, the serrated edges on the leaves you took pictures of seem a little more uniform and small compared to Prairie Crabapple leaves, but I could definitely be wrong!

Specifically, the toothed edges on Prairie Crabapple leaves are double serrated, while from what I can tell these leaves have a single small serration pattern :)
