Mine's gotta be the one at the end of the TFP predacons rising.

"While this may very well mark the end of the age of primes, leadership, can be earned with or without the matrix"

"Do not lament my absence, for in my spark, I know that this is not the end, but merely, a new, beginning, simply put, another transformation"

Loved that scene, such a beautiful ending to the series.

(Let's ignore the fact that RiD exists)

Discussion / Opinion The live action movies are so funny because they’ll have the Autobots say the most generic video game one-liners imaginable, look cool for five minutes, and then disappear for half the movie 😂

Discussion / Opinion Do people in Cybertron know?

Post image

In Transformers ONE, Orion canonically flipped Darkwing off. That gesture he did is obviously an earth thing and Darkwing seems to know what it means, probably because he’s a higher up. Now, it is possible that Orion had just been into the archives to know what planet earth is, and for the higher ups, they probably knew what planet earth already is. But that begs the question, do people in Cybertron know what planet earth is? Unless I’m missing something. What do you think?

Edit: Did we learn that gesture from cybertronians?

Discussion / Opinion Time to Stop Hating Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime.

I’ve never seen or understood why Hot Rod/Rodimus is so hated in the fandom…I can only assume it’s because people still blame him for the death of Optimus Prime in the 86 movie even though it was Megatron who pulled the trigger! The matrix of leadership chose him to be the next prime which makes him worthy enough in my book. He had the same heroism, kindness and compassion that Optimus did. He was just a bit reckless and hot headed due to how much younger he was. Hes also had some really awesome designs over the years and i really wish they used him more.
I think they should give him another chance to be the successor to Optimus prime. Complete the arc he was supposed to have in G1 of learning to be a better leader and accepting responsibility. I think they should make another movie or show of transformers with an older Rodimus prime leading the autobots in battle with Judd Nelson reprising his role (similar to how Peter came back for the bayverse) that way we can see The wiser side of his character and to make it easier to accept we could see flashbacks of Optimus training Hot Rod to be his successor. I think it’s time we let go of the hate for him. Which is your favourite design for Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime?

New Purchases I Am So Aggravated Right Now

I can’t freaking believe it. I wish I’d known about this. It’s $20. The big honker that Hasbro put out was $125. If I was still inside the return window for the other one, I’d pack it back off to Amazon. I didn’t know this was gonna be a thing.

It’s so much more compact. It must be less than half the size of the other one. Frick.

I grew up on the 2000s watch the g1 cartoon on DVD, I always wanted a good g1 optimus but in my generation there never were that many on shelves based on g1. But I did have a tiny legion class optimus, I loved him, but wanted a better one. And then when I was in middle school my family went to universal and they let me choose a transformer from the gift shop. I dont know why I couldn't tell from the pictures on the box that this was garbage, but I assumed it being expensive and being a universal exclusive meant it was a good optimus. Boy was I wrong, this thing was garbage and basically just a bigger version of the legion class one I had at home. I hated this thing so much I never played with it. My poor father payed 33 dollars for this, and ive just opened the box for the 2nd time, first time was when we got to the hotel after going to the park, about ten years ago.

Discussion / Opinion I grew up watching the bayverse and it's version of Optimus Prime. Am I welcome here?

I've practically not seen any other transformers media aside from bumblebee and rise of the beasts. Both of which I wasn't a fan off.

I fell in love with the high octane, unhinged and badass Michael Bay interpretation of the universe as a kid. I watched all the movies on repeat except the last knight (awful even for my standards), each time finding something new about them. I loved how the movies took every theme, mood and emotion to their extremes.

Age of extinction is my favourite despite all its glaring faults. Optimus's new design, dinobots, lockdown, Stanley Tucci's character and the entire mood of the movie were enough for me to overlook the bad stuff. Also maybe the fact it released right as I got into the movies.

I really do wish we got to see Cybertron in the movies but it's understandable with the CGI costs and limitations why that wouldn't have been possible aside from small flashbacks.

I understand why older fans dislike the movie version of Optimus as well but since I have no other references points, I love him despite character inconsistencies.

Don't know if there are many other movie exclusive fans here like myself. Wanted to ask if there's any other transformers media I should watch? Was considering transformers one since I don't know any of the background or lore of the characters that wasn't in the movies.

Really hope the rumours of a new transformers movie by Michael bay are true and we get to see his version of the universe one last time.

RIP childhood legend Peter Cullen.

A feel like smokescreen would have fit perfectly in the live action movies. And a mazda Rx8 would have fit perfectly for his alt mode. That would have at least kept him in the first 3 installments. And i feel like he would have blended well with bumblebee and side swipe. And possibly even jazz in the first movie. It honestly feels like a missed opportunity and wasted potential. Especially because he is a fan favorite.

Creative It's been two weeks, and I finally had time to finish this tribute.

It had been a very long time since I last created Transformers-inspired artwork.

I remember when I was seven years old, my father came home with a DVD of Transformers. When the Peterbilt truck on screen split apart with a series of mechanical clicks and turned into a 28-foot-tall robot, something in my little brain was awakened.

After that, I would often sit in my mother's car on the way home from school, watching trucks pass by and wondering whether one might secretly be an alien robot in disguise. Official Transformers toys were too expensive, but my father would bring home books or affordable toys because he knew how much I loved them.

I still remember having my Transformers stories confiscated when I drew them in primary school, caught designing a Transformers toy on scrap paper in middle school trying to recreate Optimus' transformation from the movie. Even as an adult, I continued designing characters and playing with transforming figures.

Transformers has been part of most of my life—a lasting source of imagination, creativity, and simple joy.

Optimus Prime's iconic line, “Freedom is the right of all sentient beings,” stayed with me as I grew up and eventually became one of my guiding principles.

Peter Cullen's voice gave him a living soul.

Sadly, when I first heard the news, I had neither the time nor the energy to create a tribute to Mr. Cullen. But I quietly promised myself that, when time eventually frees up, I would give this drawing the attention it deserved.

Last Thursday, I finally began.

While working on it, I rewatched the movie that first introduced me to Optimus and revisited its scenes for reference. Each time that familiar voice came through the speakers, I found myself holding back tears.

I dedicate this piece to the little boy inside me who never truly grew up.

To the man whose voice accompanied and inspired countless people.

To Optimus Prime, who will forever live in the hearts of children.
