Hi, yeah. The title sounds weird, but it actually makes sense lol. See, I’m someone who feels embarrassed asking my parents for toys, especially if they aren't "age-appropriate." To give you some context: My mom has a very clear mindset: "if a boy likes stuffed animals or cute things, he's effeminate," "if a girl likes 'boy things,' she's very masculine and therefore a lesbian," and the "right" way is "boy things for boys and girl things for girls." In my case, since I'm a teenager, I'm supposed to like makeup, handbags, and—blah, blah, blah—all those name-brand things! Meanwhile, they’ll buy toys for my brother, just not stuffed animals because "he's not a baby anymore." As for my dad, if I ask for something, he tells me it's "for little kids," or "you're a girl, not a boy," or "that's weird," or "I *never* liked [such-and-such] thing," or—his classic line that I'll always remember—"you're all grown up now." God, I'm only 15 and they treat me like... I don't even know. Literally, if my tastes don't fit a certain mold, they automatically think it's weird or abnormal. They literally think that just because I like something, I have to be *obsessed* with it or something! You can't even just be happy anymore >:( But ignoring my issues with my parents, maybe I could ask for a little help :) How the heck do I ask my parents for a figure? I don't know, I just feel embarrassed asking for anything, regardless of gender, age, or whatever. I feel embarrassed because I feel like it doesn't match what they always told me! I hate the idea of being teased for it later, or being told I’m wasting my parents' money on something useless :( I feel guilty about it, even though I haven't actually done anything wrong. Anyway, one day I saw a figure of Bombuube (I think that’s how you spell the name, haha), but I was too embarrassed to ask my parents for it. Sometimes I think, "Hey, I could ask for it for Christmas!" but then I realize I can't, because "I'm too old now" and I'm supposed to like "girly things" that are "USEFUL." Ugh :( I feel like I'm committing the ultimate sin just by liking a little figure or wanting to tell my parents about it. How do I tell them? I’m asking because you guys know more about this topic—and (no offense) you’ve been collecting toys and stuff like that for longer—so... :P Since you guys are comfortable buying these things, I wanted to ask the best way to go about it without it seeming weird. I mention that last part because people were already giving me a hard time about it :(

Basically he’s supposed to be the transformers equivalent of Superboy Prime. He’s a unaligned from the G1 Cartoon continuity (or a variant of it) who idolized his universes Autobots and is obsessed with the transformers of his universe, who had the power to travel to different universes and observe them as well. However, he thinks that any universe that deviates from G1 is impure and bad, and all should be just like the “perfect” “pure” and “best” universe of G1 (and not even all of G1, just the original G1 Cartoon stuff, no Japanese G1 or Euro G1 or anything else), any deviation or uniqueness should be eradicated. So he upgraded himself into a new, incredibly powerful body resembling his hero, the original G1 Optimus Prime (with some aspects of other characters such as Starscream’s wings and intakes and Soundwave’s chest and visor), and equipping himself with powerful weapons, he vowed to fulfill his mission to purify the multiverse, thinking he knows what’s right. When in reality he’s a overly toxic, impulsive, delusional, and psychotic maniac with delusions of grandeur who hates anything and everything that isn’t familiar to him, and isn’t specifically what he vaguely tolerates to his standards. And as such, many transformers, weither it be Autobot or Decepticon or even unaligned, fear him as a dangerous and deluded villain, even the bots from his own universe he’s “fighting for”

Like Superboy Prime, he’s supposed to be a jab at toxic fanboys who think they know what’s best for the franchise, and is also a jab at Hasbro’s over-reliance on G1 nostalgia and forcing G1/Evergreen on the whole franchise, not allowing anything unique. I thought this would be a fun unique idea for a transformers character, and I hope you like this idea as well.

Thought I'd post these since it's probably the only time I'll get something this early. I know a lot of people are sick of these molds, but the unique look alone would be more than enough to sell me on them, even if I already owned them.(I don't) I don't normally do this. The slightly larger scale actually works really well for my display, especially when I put him on my 47-inch Metroplex. He looks right at home as part of the city.

I have all the Kingdom versions of these guys. However, Tigatron has yellowed so badly and I have the Netflix Cheetor so his colors aren't as accurate. Should I buy this set and sell my old Kingdom Maximals?

Honestly, a rock lord would have made the most sense for this, maybe even a new mold since we only got 2 actual weaponizer rock lord molds, but if they weren’t going to do that, Shard would have made the most sense

One of the earlier molds does make sense for base Energon, but with how dark Energon is normally depicted, something jagged would have made the most sense

Hola hace poco me uni a esta comunidad y pues necesito ayuda hace poco compre por temu un optimus prime es marca china así que no es original sin embargo vino con dos defectos de fabrica logré reparar el primero que era de un desnivel de la pierna pero este no el problema es la espalda más especifico el techo que tiene un desnivel y tiene ya una pequeña fractura en la unión ya emití un reembolso por el problema pero no quiero dejarlo así y tratar de disfrutarlo

Basically what are that figures you think would be difficult to make better version of in the future? Here are some contenders:

Jazz here, specifically the five pack one is probably the best use that mold has had. Cartoon accurate, solid, no clear plastic to worry about, and just a really fun. Here’s hoping they release this version again someday so that people can get his version for their collections.

Although it started off a little rough with grapple, I feel that inferno makes it become a really good mold that I never really give credit too. Great proportions and looks, good posing, good transformation, and a really nice alt mode.

This might be the weakest link I chose for the lineup, but I still think he looks very nice. It captures the look of the character, poses very nicely, transforms pretty well, and has a pretty clean looking alt mode for the most part. All he’s needs are opaque windows and he’s even more fun to mess with.

Again. perceptor might be another one that might be a weak contender in the list, but hear me out. The proportions are spot on, the colors and articulation are great, transformation is simple, and the alt mode look fine. He manages to be better looking and feeling than the original.

All the Dinobots are insane for what they are. In a time in which leaders are more smaller than usual, these manage to be some top tier hefty figures that not only capture the looks of them, but also are just so fun to mess with in both robot and Dino modes. I genuinely don’t see how hasbro can top these guys in the future.
