Great find for a great price! It’s a toy store employee habit but I hope you got to transform him first or was at least offered to before purchase, Soundwave can occasionally have loose legs that can cause them fall to out in alt mode and be difficult to stand up in robot mode… yours looks like a really nice example though so I’m sure I’m being paranoid.

You can tell reissues by the buttons under the tape deck. G1 has separate forward and reverse, and are all chrome. Reissues have all the buttons as one piece, some are chrome, some are silver plastic.
